Every workout is unique, and utilizes multiple muscle groups so that you can get the most out of your workout in only 45 minutes (or 1 hour on Saturdays). Super efficient, you're in and you're out within the hour and got a workout in. It's great for people with busy schedules. This gym is currently open in their parking garage and they have a great trial deal! I signed duo for their 7 day trial for $25! I love that they give you a full week to try out classes since they rotate the focus between strength and cardio. I signed up on the Mind Body App for my week trial. When I first arrived they took my temperature and everyone else's. Most people were wearing masks before the session started. They start each class with a very quick explanation of each station, this varied from day to day but one day I think there were 9 different exercises and another day there were 27. They have the parking lot set up so there are two people working in each parking space with sanitizer buckets at each station with a rag and a spray bottle. After you finish at your exercise they pause to give everyone time to sanitize and then you rotate to the next station. There were about 18-20 people there each of the 5 times I went and there were 2 trainers. It can definitely be intimidating and overwhelming since you need to make sure you are doing each exercise correct and with proper form. The trainers are enthusiastic and try their best to help those who need it, but with that many people I personally felt a little lost and out of my element since I didn't know how to do each exercise correctly. Throughout the intense workout there are definitely people lowering their masks to breath. If you want small group training or slower explanations of each move this might not be the workout for you. But the $25 7 day trial is definitely worth a shot to try it out. read more

Honestly the best workout place I have found. I'm not one of those people who loves working out or was super motivated to work out even though I know I have body goals that I wanted to achieve. Tried going to a few other gyms over the years but still no inspiration. I heard about F45 through someone I follow on Instagram and decided to give it a try. BEST DECISION EVER. Somehow this place is able to get me out of bed and excited to go workout. You'll always get a great workout with every class from the variety of exercises and equipments they prepare for each class, but what makes this place great is how supportive everyone is. The coaches/trainers make it a point to get to know you personally with every class, down to any health issues you have so that they can modify the workouts and help you get to the body goals you want to achieve. They really push you to do your best, which I always appreciate because I usually tend to want to take a lot of breaks. Also, all the other members I met so far were so great and supportive. First timer. It was really great experience. I was nervous about the group dynamic. As well as how it all actually worked out. But the instructor Cam was great to introduce himself to me. He explained the routine to me individually. And then a quick rundown with the entire class. So it was really easy to transition into this work out style. Easy to follow the layout and the other people in the class were really cool and encouraging. It was a kick ass routine. Really great workout. Awesome music. So I have been training at F45 now for over a year and absolutely LOVE it! Now I have tried crossfit, orange theory and Speedx in the past but always got bored at some point. F45 is functional training offering 45 mins of high intensity, circuit training with a group. Whether you live or work in Pasadena, make F45 your place to workout. You won't regret it. I have been a member since August 2018 and have attended over 200 classes. There are morning and evening classes offered during the weekdays and only mornings during the weekends which makes it convenient. I like that every couple months or so new classes are added and they bring classes back on the schedule after a hiatus offering a good mix and keeping you on your toes. I like this because it keeps classes new, interesting and fun! I also like that they have an 8-week challenge every quarter which is free for members. You get to download an app to track your meal plans, weigh ins etc. I also LOVE that they recently added a 3rd strength day because those are my favorite. I definitely lost weight & body fat percentage and increased muscle mass. Once you are intially signed up in their system, download the app to make it convenient to sign up for furure classes. You can sign up days in advance which helps to committ to your workout week. I use the MindBody app and I link my FitBit so I can track calories burned etc. I always book the Hollywood class days in advance since it is very popular on Saturdays. Once you get to class, there is an iPad you use to check in. F45 also offers a heart rate monitor (I forget the price) which tracks your progress on TVs during class with the other members making it competitive but fun! The trainers always review the exercises in the beginning of class and ask if you have any injuries so they can show you modifications. They are all about form and will go around to make sure you have proper form. They push you to your next level and once you get there they push you even more. There are so many options in the fitness industry and competitors out there but F45 is the gold standard. I truly cannot emphasize how much I love F45 Pasadena! Every day I walk in knowing that I will have a very challenging workout that will leave me completely drenched. The workouts are hard but doable and only 45 minutes with the exception of the killer Saturday classes. My favorite part is that every single day the workout is different which means top results for your body. I had been working out consistently and eating well six months prior to working out at F45 and did not reach my goal until I joined F45 and completed the 8 week challenge. After the 8 week challenge I had lost 11 pounds, dropped my body fat percentage by 6 percent and gained muscle mass. I am officially obsessed with F45 workouts, more specifically with F45 Pasadena. I have been to 29 classes so far and can see huge changes in my fitness, health and physique. The most important part of F45 Pasadena are the amazing trainers, Cameron and Dani, who draw in a group of amazing people to support each other through a though workout. Each session I come to is completely unique, filled with energy and full of camaraderie. It feels like personal training as the instructors pay attention to you throughout class, pushing you while correcting form to ensure safety. On top of all this, the workouts are absolutely killer, I leave every session completely burnt out, only to be counting down the hours until the next session. If you are of competitive nature, they even have heart rate monitors which allow you to connect with the other people in the class in order to track your progress, heart rate and calories after every session. By this time I had convinced myself I was beyond saving physically get BACK into any sort of shape and in the brink of just letting myself go indefinitely. The next day, I tried my first class. I could not have been more pleased with all aspects of the experience from the workout, trainers (Cameron, Dani, and Jamie). The first workout was super challenging, fun and very doable. I am in my 4th week and I can genuinely say that F45 is just flat-out awesome. The trainers, facility, equipment, and fellow f45'ers are all wonderful.
