This guy knows his stuff. I've been an online client of his for a while now and I've seen so much progress with the custom meal and workout plans he has given me. I got the opportunity to finally meet him in person a couple of weeks ago when he came to Chicago and get a one on one training session at my gym, and let me tell you, I could not lift my arms the following day! Best workout ever hands down! If you want real results this is the Trainer you need.

This was taken when I was on biz trip after 3 sessions training with Quay. I had been training alone before him, but he helped a lot!

Quay pushes me hard but not more than I can do. He is attentive to form and posture (awesome!). You'd be lucky to work with him!

Since F45 is a franchise, it's pretty fun to think that people across the world are doing the exact same workout as we are here in Pasadena. When traveling to different states, or even other countries, I've been able to visit studios there and I love the familiarity of it. There's no awkwardness or intimidation factor since it feels like home. The Pasadena studio is family-owned and the owners, Gabe & Michelle, take feedback and concerns seriously. They're always looking for ways to make the experience better and I love that personal touch. They've put a huge emphasis on building community among the members so that the studio isn't just a place to exercise but a place to form friendships. The coaches at Pasadena make the effort to get to know the members personally and are super friendly and motivating. They push you but are also sensitive to injuries or limitations and are able to provide modifications, if needed. When I don't feeling like getting out of bed and over to class, I know I can count on them to be there energized & ready to go. Thank you, F45 Pasadena!

Great facility (huge!), great coaches, and really rewarding workout routines. Coaches are awesome and pretty helpful regardless of your level. They are able to coach you if a newbie to get the moves right, or push you to make progress if more experienced. Generally super friendly, smart, and professional. It can get busy, which is a plus, its super motivating to have the room full of people to sweat along with, and there are usually multiple coaches giving attention when needed, and did i mention the facility is huge? a lot bigger than other f45s i've checked out leaving a lot of room for activities, its a great space. Parking is readily available in two covered lots in the building itself, or across the street by the dim sum place. I'm not in SGV too often during weekdays but i try to hit this place whenever I am in the area, if you live nearby it'd be a no brainer to attend here if looking for group fitness and to get in shape.

They have group classes (varying between 5-15 people,) small group training (about 3-6 people & priced a little bit more) & personal one-on-one sessions (1-2 people priced a little higher.) You can even drop in & try a class as a walk-in (for less than $20) & see how you like it. Every trainer is different in teaching style, but with the same goal in mind--to get their clients a good workout & good sweat. If you need modifications because of an injury let it be known & they'll tailor it for you. Having the right form is extremely important to me so I appreciate when the trainers would correct me or show us the correct form. I found community here when I wasn't even searching for it. I was reminded to have a strong & positive mindset & that I would only see results if I put in the work. This isn't just a gym. Melissa puts in a lot of hard work, time, energy & dedication to not only her clients, but also in providing equipment that measures up to those same standards. So what are you waiting for? Get in here! I promise you'll leave every sesh feeling sore & sweaty, but also full of endorphins & thankful you moved your body. (Oh! & you can rock the cute merch.)

I was first introduced to Matthew Cather by my 17-year-old son 11 years ago, and at the time, I thought it was the toughest workout I had ever attempted. I started training with Matthew twice a week, and now I train five times a week--growing not just physically stronger but also mentally resilient. As a 52-year-old, I firmly believe that the key to longevity is a combination of weight training, strength, mobility, and conditioning--all of which are seamlessly incorporated into our program at Cozmosize. The dedication, expertise, and sense of community here make every session both challenging and rewarding. I feel truly blessed to be part of the Cozmo family, and I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to elevate their fitness journey!

I heavily considered not leaving a review because I feared criticism from the trainer, but I felt…read moreso bad after our trial session that I felt the need to say something. Our session was good, but I needed time to deliberate before moving forward - it was a bit commitment and I needed some time to reflect. The trainer got incredibly heated, first going on about how great his services were compared to everyone else and then shaming me for not committing on the spot and wasting his time. I let the trainer know that I am unemployed and rely on my parents for financial support, so I needed to deliberate with them before proceeding further. I felt belittled for communicating my needs, and received harsh criticism from the trainer about being "a waste of time." It should be noted that on the website, the first session is advertised as a "no obligation free workout." But the session took place in a paid gym. He paid for the day pass, which I was very grateful for, but upon completion, I refunded the money back. Still, I continued to receive verbal abuse from the trainer post session (see screenshot below) Final thoughts: don't offer no-commitment complimentary sessions on your website if you're gonna accuse people of wasting your time and shame clients. UPDATE: I've continued to be harassed by the trainer. Completely unprofessional.
