Whether your goals are to get fit or look like a competitor (or train to compete), BONA has the resources to reach your goals. They encourage you to lift heavy (if strength is your goal). This is what I would refer to as a "muscle" gym so it isn't for the faint of heart. This is a good thing if you're serious about reaching your fitness goals. Update: so it's been about 4 months since I joined this gym and it's even better than I thought! I absolutely love it here. Staff is super friendly. Trainers are awesome and extremely knowledgeable (I train with Allen and just started kickboxing with Virginia). The one statement I would change is that it doesn't matter if you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced, both members and staff encourage you and will help. Just love it here.

Then we grabbed our harnesses and rental shoes and we were off to the walls! There's lots of cubbies around the whole place to store your belongings. They also have clean restrooms and water fountains available. They have multiple climbing options such as bouldering, auto belay and top rope belaying. For top rope belayers, you will need to take a course to become certified. They offer classes every hour. We skipped the bouldering as I didn't trust my upper body strength without a harness! The auto belay portion was a blast! I felt so satisfied reaching the top and it was super fun to jump off of the wall! I do wish the auto belay walls were a lot taller but nonetheless, I still had so much fun! I had a great workout here and my arms were so sore at the end of the day.

She has no humility or care or understanding for anything that you may suggest as a legitimate concern. The gym itself is clean and conveniently located, but my experience with personal training was extremely disappointing. 1 clearly communicated specific training preferences and a prior back injury, yet my concerns were repeatedly ignored. I was pushed to lift more weight than I was comfortable with, which resulted in significant soreness and nervous system distress that left me unable to work out for an entire week. When I raised this as an injury concern, it was completely dismissed and brushed off as "normal." Instead of listening or taking accountability, the staff turned the situation around on me, questioned my nutrition and effort, and showed no genuine concern for my physical well-being. When I expressed that I no longer felt safe or comfortable continuing training, I was initially told I still had to pay under the contract. While they eventually released me from the contract and refunded my remaining sessions, the lack of care, empathy, and willingness to listen was shocking. This experience made it clear that client concerns-especially regarding injuries-are not taken seriously. I would not recommend this gym if you have specific needs, injuries, or expect a truly customized and supportive training
