100 Stars! - The Absolute Best F45!…read more I have been coming to F45 South McKinney for two years, and the culture here is truly unmatched. It feels like a second family--everyone greets each other with fist bumps and high fives, and we even hang out outside of class! World-Class Coaches: Head trainer Amanda and the entire coaching staff truly care about your progress. Even after two years, they still actively correct my form and posture to keep me safe and challenged. They make an effort to know everyone by name and keep things highly personal. A massive thank you to the fabulous coaching crew: Strong, Moses, Edith, Heather, Corrine, Andre, and everyone else on the team! Top-Tier Facility & Cleanliness: Amanda keeps this studio absolutely immaculate. I have personally seen her staying after hours, dismantling equipment just to clean out the debris. The floors, corners, restrooms, and workout gear are deep-cleaned after every single class, and the bathrooms always smell amazing. Premium Amenities & Great Location: The perks here go above and beyond other F45 locations. Amenities: Complimentary workout and shower towels, water dispensers, and beverages available for purchase. Convenience: Tons of parking space. Location: Super easy to get to, right off 75 and Eldorado, next to Trader Joe's. If you want a clean facility, attentive coaches, and an amazing community of peers, F45 South McKinney is the place to be!

I enjoy everyday having different workouts planned, never boring. I recommend this to any first-timer or veteran. Trainers give plenty of modifications to make it more doable. The classes have a mix of ages, mix of genders, mix of races and are all very sweet people. They have a 3D scanner that allows you to get detailed measurements of your entire body and apps to help with diet planning. I've been going to this gym for 4 months, abt 4 times a week and I feel great!

I really hoped for a better experience with Hotworx but the cons ended up outweighing the pros. The…read moreconcept is working out in a 125 degree infrared sauna to help torch calories during and after your workout while watching a pre-recorded video workout. It sounded inviting and with all the variety of workouts you can sign up for, including pilates, yoga, cycling, rowing, bands, iso, and barre, I thought this would be an amazing new workout studio to supplement my gym membership. I ended up signing up when they were running a special so I got my mat & towel (which they require you to purchase) for free, which would've been valued around $99. Monthly dues are $59 for unlimited access to this location. At first I enjoyed going to Hotworx and trying out the vast variety of workout videos. However, about 3-4 weeks in, I had tried all the workouts at least once and I noticed the videos were the same and were never being rotated out. As with any workout that you don't change up, you will hit a plateau. They were boring and no longer challenging since my body was used to the same workout routines and I had practically memorized all the moves. After a month, I decided to put in my cancellation but I was then told that you need to be a member for three months before you are eligible to put in a 60 day cancellation notice. I've never heard of gyms/studios that try to lock you in like Hotworx did. Not to mention they NEVER disclosed the part of having to be a member for three months prior to putting in your cancellation notice when I signed up. Out of the five months I have been there, their workout videos have not changed once. They did, however, add in the new barre classes. If you're looking for a workout that is boring, predictable and you want the same exact routine, look no further. Definitely try out all the classes and make sure you want to commit to at least 5 months before you sign up here!

I dropped in from out of town and found two splendid things about CrossFit HAP: a personal, caring and pusher of a trainer in Marissa. The advantage of a small operation like this is that for a new guy like me to CFit, you still need help getting good form for the movements. Wish I could relocate Marissa to WindyCity CFit which has a great bunch of coaches as well. The other aspect is the welcoming community I experienced in two days of working out there. When I'm back in town, I'll be coming back here.
