They have started offering a few classes that I would like to try but it seems there is an additional charge for them which is confusing bc when I originally signed up classes were included. I go in the early morning and it's never crowded. Plenty of space to get your workout in.. The staff is friendly. The smoothie bar is delish. Few things I do wish they had would be showers in their locker room that would be a plus, and a free guest pass. I have a lot of friends that I want to try to gym but they charge for the day pass.

The music is a mix of oldies to more recent ones so it caters to most age groups. If you don't like a lot of the jumping around or crazy movements (plyometrics) don't come on a Saturday unless you wanna leave 3 lbs lighter and it's not from the work out itself... lol... strengths classes I think are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday but you can prob check that online.. the two dudes running the class were awesome and def motivating .. first, they demonstrate how you're gonna go though 27 stations and then repeat... water break 30 seconds... it's a tough work out.. I thought I was mostly dying.. used to straight up cardio and weights.. just know yourself and what you can and can't do, obviously knowing your limitations health wise! There are no mirrors in this gym specifically so you can focus your mind on your body and the exercises you're performing .. best you can do is try your best and try to make it to the end! And hopefully not be as weak as me, lmao. I think I def would make sure you're hydrated and eat something of sustenance at least an hour before you go, you will totally need your energy.

The gym was super welcoming from day 1 and clearly is a community. I always felt comfortable (and still do) being at this gym. It is always clean as well! :) there are bathrooms with a shower if you need them. Something I love about F45 is that the coaches are knowledgeable and really challenge me to improve, even when I need to modify exercises. I have never been much of a self-motivator when it comes to fitness, so this is a big plus for me. There are cardio days, strength days, and combo days - you can pick and choose which days work for you. I have really seen a difference in my fitness and my confidence since joining F45. I really enjoy going and will continue to keep up my membership!

Since my first, I have completed two 10 week challenges that have transformed by body in ways I didn't think were possible. This morning, I signed up for my third challenge. The coaches there are so motivational and knowledgeable. There are two coaches to every class so you always have eyes on you making sure that your form is correct. Which is something that is very important to me. Every workout is different, so being bored is not something I have experienced at all. There is a great mix of cardio and resistance so I am targeting my entire body. I start every day with a morning class, and when I don't go I truly miss it. The classes FLY by and I am buring between 500 & 850 calories per class. If you are looking for a studio that feels like a family, is an intense workout and something you will find yourself addicted to you should seriously take advantage of the one week free trial. You will walk out the door after your first class and wonder why you didn't try it sooner.

    COACH CHANDO: 1)…read moreOBSERVANT - In the 2 days (90 minutes combined) I had visited the training center, he seemed to know everything about me just by the way I was training with him. Keep in mind that there are other students in the class, but he notices every detail about his students, the breath we take per move/reps (even with masks on), 2) PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNICATIVE - With his keen observation skills, he's quick to correct posture or can tell if we've trained before (I say he's psychic), he also has the ability to tell how we carry our backpacks/or handbags and if they are heavy or not, he will know based on our posture if we are the type who have sedimentary jobs or not and advises on how to autocorrect form. I do value the fact as we work out, he tells us where we should be feeling the burn and why and which part of the body we are working. 3) FRIENDLY & WARM/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - he doesn't intimidate and he can easily make quick connections to build rapport and trust so as we are working out, he empowers us with confidence we need to push ourselves. He intuitively knows our personal limit as to when we need to be pushed hard and when we need to slow it down. F45 PLAINVIEW 1) I've been to many gyms and worked out with many trainers, but i do enjoy the F45 concept, 45 minutes your in and your out with a sweat. This is a great concept for those individuals who lack discipline in a gym environment. 2) Days are scheduled based on what the functional exercises and which area of the body you will be working (core, upper, lower, cardio, etc). 3) The camaraderie you gain when you attend. I only attended 2 sessions and the members welcomed me with open arms and thumbs up support in a few of the exercises I failed at. We all have a common objective in mind and its just getting through the 45 minutes is where we bond at... then its a great feeling when you see them again the very next day. If i could choose to be a member at F45 Plainview, I definitely would. But i'll need to find another F45 (and a Coach Chando) in PNW area. THANK YOU F45 PLAINVIEW & COACH CHANDO!
