Orange Theory in Fairfield has stolen over $2,000 from us and will not correct the issue. In April…read moreof 2023 I went in for a trial day at Orange Theory Fairfield. Mo, the manager said that in order to do the trial day I had to sign a contract, but that I could cancel same day. I did cancel same day and they and I do have that on file. They continued to charge my American Express for a total 18 months and never turned it off. I called a month after the visit to ask them to refund the charges, they said they would but it would take 15-30 days. Every month after that I continued to call to remind them that the charges had not stopped and that we had not been refunded. November of 2024 I asked them to please escalate this as it had not been addressed or resolved. Mo, the manager said he was handling it through their finance department and again it would take some time. I went in to the location with my husband today and asked if we could have the name of the person who CAN fix this, as they are now saying "they have asked for it to be fixed, no one has fixed it, and that's all 'they' can do. The manager Ralph today, said he can't do any more to help us. Again we asked for the name of the person who CAN help us and he said "Rich." We asked for Rich's contact info an Ralph refused. We have stopped getting calls back from Mo or Ralph. Does anyone know who this "Rich" is? How do we get contact info for him? Or even someone at the operating company "Empire?" This has been an epic run around for us and we still have not been reimbursed. So far we have: 1. Contacted Mo (Manager) who has promised many times it would be refunded, he has stopped returning calls. 2. Contacted Ralph (Regional Director) in November, no call back. Went in today and spoke with him in person, he says he can't help. He said "someone" told him to stop helping, and now that he has been told to stop helping, he will, in fact, stop helping. He will not tell us who this "someone" is. 3. I have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and left several messages. No response. 4. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, no response. 3/3/2025 I just confirmed with American Express that no attempts have been made on either of my cards. Mo at Orange theory keeps claiming that he is trying to issue a refund, but American Express confirms they have not tried. And they can't claim they don't have the correct credit card info, because they successfully charged the card for 18 months unauthorized. Per AmEx both cards I have given Orange theory are active and in good standing, no restrictions.

I personally have always been a fan of weight lifting and strength training but going to the Fit Club classes such as the "body shock" and "ultimate fitness" where they always mix it up and usually it involves circuit training, alternating with body weight exercises and actual weights- I have been experiencing far more intense workouts then when I used to train on my own. I've always loved working out but I've never been able to Push as hard on my own as when I'm being instructed in the classes. Oh! I finally began to join the cardio boxing classes there too! I was way too shy/nervous/intimidated at first to do this but finally gave in cause it looked so fun. I'm a total convert. Now my favorite classes are the boxing! I get such an insane workout and I have such a good time, the instructors are awesome and I love the music! Everyone who goes to this gym is so friendly and it's such a wide range of people who come in, age, fitness level, etc that l can't see anyone walking in and feeling out of place. Also, I sometimes go into the gym when there's not a class going on just to do acro-yoga and play and do my own workouts.
