Plus it's in a shopping plaza with a ton of free parking. I was able to get in my regular Saturday workout, with the same level of great coaching I am used to. Monday, Wednesday, Friday are cardio, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday are strength, and Saturday is a 1 hour hybrid workout. There's so much diversity in the workouts you never get bored. The trainer teaches you each round and will be there for anything you need during your workout. 30 min and you get a great full body workout with muscle work as well as cardio. You get a heart monitor you can wear and shows on the tv to help you see how you are doing along the way. Jess is the owner and she's awesome and super helpful. The other trainers are fantastic as well, good people all around. It's the best workout and nothing like it in town. One of the other staff members asked me to wait and to speak with the GM Sasha. Later in the evening I asked to speak to her but she was gone for the day so I asked for another manager, who happened to be Janet! She was eager to have another staff member cancel it for me without even making an attempt to apologize or ask me to reconsider. Before leaving the gym, I asked for Sasha to reach out to me the next day, but when 3:30 pm rolled around I had not heard from her so I called her. She didn't even make an attempt to ask what had happened or why I was so angry that I asked to cancel my membership so quickly. She also knew exactly who I was because she never even asked for my name which means she had gotten the message about reaching out and chose to ignore it. I don't want to bash all the staff as most are very nice and welcoming, but I would have expected more from the club leadership. I would also note that if your considering joining the men's locker room Sauna has not worked for years now and the club leadership doesn't seem to have any plan or intention on fixing it.

Second, if the outside temperature does influence the pool's temperature, then why is it still cold (83 degrees vs 86 degrees)? The shower on the men's side is still closed due to an unsafe and inoperable light fixture. The sauna has been closed for months. And, now the hot tub has an inoperable piece. Maintenance has to be a top priority to keep customers happy. Too many of my swimming buddies are going elsewhere.

Overall I am very pleased with the facility and what it offers. Lots of classes to chose from at various times throughout the day, multiple studios, a lot of equipment to use on various levels. There is a lot to offer a member. I also use the sauna...it is a bit too hot to my liking but relaxing none-the-less. They have ample seating areas. I have no complaints now that they have fans near the treadmills.

Paying for a lot of facility (pool, tennis courts, etc.) that I don't use, so no longer felt like it was good value for the fees. Also, noticed that the classes I took were very crowded, there were a wide range of ages (kids and seniors in with mid-range adults), and I felt the facility was not always as clean as I would have liked. The staff often seemed over-scheduled and stressed. In all, not a good experience for the money.

I came in with a history of awful knee injuries, multiple surgeries followed by iffy recoveries, and little to no faith in the muscles in my lower body. In less than 12 months I've gone from constantly worrying about those shaky knees to feeling real confidence in my movements. Doubling my PRs has just been an added perk... Ashlee has been awesome in creating tailored programs for me and what I need. Just as important, she fosters a welcoming and encouraging environment in the group training sessions that make them more enjoyable than they have any business being. If you want help with nutrition, she's got you. If you want suggestions for good obscure metal bands, she's got you there too. But also meeting their reputation, there are always numerous pieces of equipment that are out of order and unusable. I actually had a machine, literally, fall apart while I was using it. I brought the dismantled pieced to the front counter. Please repair the machines Planet Fitness. You owe it to your paying members. They pay to have access to the whole gym and all the machines, not a portion of the machines.
