I had an amazing time trying out a barre class at this studio. I learned about this charming spot from KavaClub and was so excited to learn about a new-to-me place for barre. Barre is my favorite kind of workout. This studio is super cute. It's one big room with a mirror at the front of class. When you walk in, there is a counter to check-in at and a white board with all the equipment you need for the class that day. It's located in a strip mall so there is tons of easy and free parking in the lot out front. They have one single stall bathroom in the back right corner. They also have a water fountain. Mallory was my instructor for the day and was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She took the time to explain the class to me and suggested I sit up front so it was a bit easier to follow her. This class was a really fun challenge. She played music that matched the movements and I found myself shocked at how fast time went. They have great equipment here so you don't need to bring anything but yourself (no special socks needed for this one). I highly recommend checking out this studio! read more

I just had to leave a review for this place for several reasons. I've been a barre girlie for forever, but my studio was heated so when I got pregnant I had to find a new place and went to 3 different studios before I found this gem. The space is clean and cute and the owner and instructors are kind and empowering while also challenging and kick your butt! I also have to shoutout how pregnancy safe this studio is. They give you a paper that goes over unsafe moves for each stage of pregnancy and offers alternative safe moves. And the instructors often show a modified version. Lastly, I had asked for a gift card for my birthday this year bc I was loving these classes so much. While trying to purchase a class pack i accidentally bought it with my credit card rather than the gift card (blame pregnancy brain). After contacting the studio they immediately refunded me so that I could purchase it with my gift card. I just know for a fact my old studio would have never refunded a purchase. Crazy fun and hard.... My coworker and I came across this place when we saw this during a trip to the Vitamin shop next door...then I brought it up to another coworker and turns out that her sister in law taught barre classes there! Definitely an opportunity for all the ladies to bond haha. In the month of February, they had a first time client offer to try a free class (check out their website to see their schedules and what offer is being featured). I highly recommend trying out one a barre class here. It was definitely worth the challenge and the instructor, Emily Hovis, was super sweet....just enough to push you to try your hardest. Emily did a great job instructing us (a few of us first timers) and got us to the point where our legs and arms were shaking. I def plan on checking out this place again after I come back from New Orleans next month and I can tone up before the summer! Overall, the first class experience was great (we took the Express Class -50 mins during the afternoon) and the place was simple and clean. You don't need to bring anything except water and maybe some yoga socks if you feel like you need it. The hardwood floors were also really nice and the equipments we used were clean. Great place to workout! The barre instructors are very encouraging and make class fun but challenging. Multiple options for class times each day (morning, noon, evening). Some class times (8:30 or 9:30am) are more popular than others, but you can almost always get a spot if you book early enough. Cancellation time for classes is very reasonable (1-2 hours before class). There is a variety of equipment to use during class and the equipment and studio are well-kept and clean. read more

barReVA is a super cute, one room barre studio in an awesome location near Willow Lawn. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the classes are challenging! I recently decided to start prenatal classes and was thrilled to see that barReVA offered prenatal yoga barre. Combining both workouts that I love? Perfect! The class was wonderful. I loved meeting other moms and spending the first 15 minutes getting to know each other and talking about where we all were in our pregnancies. I definitely felt the burn the next day! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was unable to use the buy one class, get one free class pack that I bought on their website. After class, I was informed that the prenatal classes are a special, separate situation. It would have been really nice if that were explained on the website so I would have known before purchasing. However, the owner was really sweet about the misunderstanding and I decided to have her refund the money and charge me for a single class instead. read more

The clean sleek studio has wonderful hardwood floors and great lighting! Even though it is tucked away in the Libbie Place shopping center, the tinted windows provide privacy from the few passersby. When another workout studio moved in next door, they quickly installed a soundproof wall to prevent interference when both studios have classes going on. The pristine studio and environment barReVA has made allows me to concentrate on their challenging and always changing workouts. read more
