His response was: "Since you live so far away, I'm not interested in giving you a quote to shop around with." I was honestly surprised by this response. I understand that a dealership doesn't have to offer a particular price, but refusing to provide a quote simply because a customer wants to compare offers seems like a poor way to treat a potential customer--especially someone who already drives a Kia and is looking to lease another Kia. I wasn't asking them to hold a vehicle or spend hours with me at the dealership. I was simply asking for their lease numbers so I could compare them with other Kia dealers. It's been there ever since. * On the second time, Putnam Dodge diagnosed my 2018 Ram 1500 with engine block damage; warranty coverage had been denied after a wrong faulty head gasket repair & diagnosis. * You requested a full refund of $4,000 paid for the unsuccessful head gasket repair and to pick up the truck as-is. * Following a second warranty inspection in June, the claim was denied again but, now for a different reason, due to "failure due to continued operation." * Technician is currently awaiting final direction from his manager, Peter, regarding your refund request; he expects an update soon. It's July 21 of 2026. No repair, no coverage, no refund and I can't even have my car back after multiple request to release it. About an hour later, I arrived at the dealership, only to be told by the front desk employee that the service department was closed and they had no way of accessing it. The message never mentioned a pickup deadline or closing time. Even if these are separate departments, handing over a car that is already finished shouldn't be this difficult. I wasted about 40 minutes getting there and would have wasted another 40 getting back.
