After dealing with multiple accidents (unfortunately), I can confidently say Spectrum Auto Body is my go-to spot. I've brought in both my Acura ILX and Acura MDX, and every single time they've made a stressful situation feel easy. The real standout here is Alice. She's seriously incredible. From the moment I handed over the keys, she took care of everything--handling insurance, keeping me updated, and making sure the whole process was smooth. When she says "I'll handle it," she actually means it, and that kind of reliability is rare. Her team does excellent work too. The cars always come back looking like nothing ever happened. Clean, detailed, and done right. At this point, I don't even think twice about where to go after an accident. I trust them fully and will continue bringing all my personal and business vehicles here. Highly recommend if you want quality work without the headache. read more

Had someone scratch my car pretty good. Given it's a brand new car, I had to get it fixed. Spectrum was recommended to me by a good friend so I gave it a shot. The shop is located in a good and quiet area. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by Alice and/or Kelly. Both super patient, professional and helpful! My car was in the shop for about a week because we ended up getting PPF for the front of the car as well (super fair price and timeline)! Incredibly happy with the work the team did, can't even tell there was a scratch. Would recommend and will be back! Thanks Spectrum Auto! read more

I brought my BMW M340i to Spectrum Auto Body after a rear-end collision, and the experience was excellent. They explained the repair process up front, including possible hidden damage, coordinated with my insurance and rental, and kept me updated. Repairs were done in about a week using OEM BMW parts, and the car looks perfect. Vehicle owners who care about factory standards will appreciate their attention to detail. My son drives his car to college in SoCal. One Friday evening he was rear ended by a huge Ford F150. He gets out of his car and sees the damage caused by the other vehicle and starts panicking. He calls me, and I told him take all the information down of other driver/vehicle. I told him he will have to drive his car back home to get it fixed. I reached out to Spectrum and spoke to Alice. Her and Kelly took care of all our needs. They repaired the car looking immaculate! Thank you all for taking such good care of my son's car! read more

I brought my 2001 Miata in for paint and restoration about a month ago. The folks at the garage did a great job. The service staff was patient as I went through my process of finding just the right paint color, worked with me to repair a damaged door, and prep and paint additional items for the car. There was a fair amount of damage to the rear and front bumper, fender, and a lot of peeling clear coat. The car looks flawless. These folks were communicative and also informative. They provided education around the different types of paint, advised color selection, and kept me updated about things that needed to be purchased so the fob turned out right. The paint is flawless, and now my Miata is something I can feel proud about driving around town! read more

My son's car, 2011 Camry, was damaged when he ran over a bolt cutter that was dropped by a vehicle on the freeway. Alice and Kelly were recommended to us by our friend. They were totally amazing, quick, and honest. They serviced what needs to be fixed, and the time frame was quick. The value of the fix was extremely reasonable. The job is impeccable. Alice and her staff are amazing! From the moment I walked into her establishment I was taken care of. I told her my budget and she broke down multiple options for me. I had many questions and she went into great detail about everything, I left feeling confident my car was in good hands. Within days I was back on the rode and the damage was fixed. I had tried to do a touch-up, myself, with a Subaru touch-up pen, on a small, quarter size, scratch/blemish on the door panel of a 2022 Ocean Blue Pearl Subaru Impreza that I had purchased just 3 months ago. It was small, but it was on the driver door, so it marred an otherwise beautiful vehicle, in outstanding condition. In searching for a body shop to inquire about this minor issue, while driving around the auto repair area of Burlingame, I discovered and stopped at Spectrum Auto Body Shop. It was Friday afternoon, so not busy. Kelly, who was at the front desk, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She informed me that it was a simple repair - all they had to do was to buff out the scratch, and they would do the repair for free. I was extremely nervous, didn't want to make it worse and more visible, but I trusted her judgment. The technician completed the repair in about 10 minutes, and Kelly was correct - 100% resolved, like new. No charge for the repair. Needless to say, I was extremely pleased by the service received at Spectrum Auto. Highly recommended. read more

Spectrum Auto Body - Body Shops Near Me - Burlingame, California

I came here because of yelp's 5 stars. The owner alice gave me a quote for a spoiler paint and install and removal of broken glass in lift gate. I agreed to it. Fast forward 2 days i get a text saying they recommend cleaning my interior for a cool $250, i thought that was weird, i politely declined. One day later, i get a text saying my car is ready tomorrow. Cool. Next thing you know i get a text saying i need to pay $250 more since the tech didnt know you had to take off the spoiler to install.... At this point im like wtf. I told them i will just take the painted spoiler and install it else where. I get there to pick up my car, i see the trim panel is still off on the lift gate, at this point im pretty mad. I asked alice why she didnt put on the trim piece she said she didnt know I wanted the trim piece to be on... also said something about how she couldnt speak chinese so she can't communicate with her employees. Not once did she offer a discount or to have the trim pieces put back on. She also lost a bag of new Oem audi clips i handed her for when they install the trim piece. She looked around the whole shop and said she lost it. Ended up giving me $80 cash for it. She blamed it on her worker, something about his daughter dying. Again no apology or offer to make things right. I got home and looked at the painted spoiler and its horrible, dust bubble everywhere. I will most likely do a chargeback read more

My car was rear ended while it was parked and the person left without a note. (slimy bastard) A friend recommended Spectrum Auto Body to get it checked out before filing a insurance claim. Alice told me there was a decent amount of damage that was hidden behind the bumper. Alice and Spectrum Auto Body took great care of my 2022 Camry TRD. It was seamless and easy process as they dealt with my insurance and handled everything. I was pretty much hands-off except filing the claim. I was updated throughout the whole process via text. My car parts did take a while but that was not the fault of the body shop as there were special parts needed. The car looks brand new as if it never got rear ended. The paint matched and looked OEM. They even detailed my car after they were done with the repair. read more

After going to Spectrum Auto Body in SF for years I decided to use their Burlingame location to fix the right side of my car after it was damaged The work done was absolutely perfect not to mention the type of metallic blue paint I have isn't the easiest to work with. I cannot say enough about the team at Spectrum Auto Body!! The quality of both their service, and craftsmanship are second to none. Alice and Kelly both greet you with a smile, were super attentive to all my questions and concerns, detailed, and their service/coordination was beyond my expectations...And YES I'm taking about an Auto Body shop!!! Like everyone else, I thought the process of looking around and researching was going to be pain-staking, but luckily I was referred to by a friend and boy was I glad! A quick search on Yelp and reviews boosted my confidence to call and once I did it was all amazing from that point on. I took in my 2020 Mercedes GLE350 twice in an extremely short period (don't ask still trying to recover) and the body work, paint, and timeline are more than I could've asked for. Hell I didn't even hesitate to call them back after the second incident. In the past I always said that factory paint is quality and repairing it won't ever be the same and boy was I wrong. Their work ACTUALLY looked better than factory, no BS!! I really can't say enough about the quality of work and ease of coordination for this shop, the team running it, and the skill of their workers. If you love cars like I do (and boy am I critical), do not hesitate to contact Spectrum. I promise you will not have any regrets regarding their service or work. read more

Alice, Kelly, and the Spectrum Auto Body team are the best! They are professional and knowledgeable. I was kept informed and updated the entire time my car was there. My Toyota Highlander was involved in a hit and run when I was at work, I had some issues when turning my wheel after trying to drive my car home. I called Spectrum Auto Body, Alice and Kelly were helpful and coordinated a tow truck to my location within 30 minutes, and assisted me with opening my claim with my insurance company. They walked me through the steps and contacted me with daily updates, which was helpful, as I knew they were diligently working on the repairs and updates with the insurance company. Long story short, they "rescued" me and made good on their promise of making my car look better than it did before the incident. The paint match was perfect, the body lines, and they even performed a courtesy detailing, so when I picked it up, it was like it looked when I bought it brand new! There's nothing else I can say that hasn't already been said by MANY others regarding Spectrum Auto Body. Living in San Francisco, vandalism is everywhere, I mean it happens.  My Infininiti was keyed on numerous panels, how frustrating! I called into Spectrum (based on its glowing reviews) and spoke to Alice who scheduled me on the same day for a free quote.  After meeting with her, she advised me of the cost of the repairs. It was best to make an insurance claim for the repairs needed. She helped call in the claim to my insurance with me and was able to get the car rental set up and everything.  It was a breeze.... She dealt with the car insurance from beginning to end. I didn't have to do anything except supply my car insurance policy number! Alice and the team got it all done in a timely manner. After picking up my beautifully repaired and clean car I realized that it's not about "getting a deal" At Spectrum Auto Body.   I realized it's about the work quality, professionalism, knowledge, and customer service they give to everyone who comes in through their doors. read more

I'll start by writing what a breath of fresh air Alice is. In today's "business climate." So many individuals don't take the time to listen to our requests and needs thoroughly. Alice did just that I also value craftsmanship and Paul one of their proficient technicians does stellar work. Lastly, that phrase "above and beyond" does NOT apply to Spectrum Auto Body. Their service standards, guest relations and craftsmanship is just that.. ABOVE AND BEYOND Thank you so much for increasing the value on my Benz read more

These guys are the real deal. Helped me deal with insurance, hooked me up with a deal, and did excellent work on my car. I have nothing but positive things to say. My car got hit with a tree branch on the freeway which completely broke my sensors, fender liner, grille, etc. I got recommended by my boyfriend's stepdad and they are really great! It's not like any other car shop where they'll try to just make money out of you. I personally don't know anything about cars and the ladies at the front, Christine and Alice were really helpful and actually pointing out and naming the damage. It took about 2 1/2 weeks for my car to be completed and even hooked up it up by getting my hood painted. They even hooked it up with a 25% discount when you check in on yelp. When I picked it up it looked brand new, clean exterior and interior! Would definitely come back here if anything happens or if I want to add on something to my car. :) read more
