I stopped by Cal Auto Body because I was a clutz and bumped into a pillar as I was backing my car out of a spot.. and lucky me, the dent prevented me from opening my door fully :( I initially came to get a quote but Gunter and Marlon were nice enough to fix the my car dent on the spot and to my big surprise, free of charge! I came back a month later with the quote she had given thur the insurance, i told her i would pay out pocket. As soon as i said that she said o i need to revise the statement charging me almost 400 dollars more than original quote,claiming her rates have gone up. A true bait and switch. I expected her to honor her original quote because it was a fair, but instead of giving me a deal she raised the price. The staff was genuine and the owner Nana was the greatest, very personable and informative. They made me feel at ease the entire time even when I was frustrated about the damage to my car. Cal auto body and their crew are s People that do more than needed to help their customers. I had a 2008 Subaru forester that the driver door handle stopped working, after 1 week climbing in through the passenger door I brought it too them. Their tech diagnosed the problem but because the door panel could not be removed.. door can't open it took some serious tlc. They got it done door works again and they only charged labor about what parts cost was and the job was very involved. Would recommend them highly!!! read more

tl;dr: Nana is phenomenal, trustworthy, and Cal Auto Body will provide an A+ experience. Brought my 2010 Honda Accord to Cal Auto Body for a complete detail and Nana buffed out some scratches on the driver's side door as well as paint transfer (I believe someone pushed a shopping cart past my car and scraped it). She was very communicative throughout the whole process and the best part of my experience was that Nana was reachable via text as well as over the phone - nearly every time I called her, she picked up the phone, and the one time I missed her and left a message, she called back within 15-minutes. Nana was also immensely transparent in her process and discussion of rates - what I had thought were just scratches Nana informed me were key marks on the hood of my car, which I asked Cal Auto Body to fix. She recommended I file a vandalization claim through insurance and she walked me through her suggestion. The hood looks phenomenal and overall, my car looks like it was just driven off the dealership lot. I've never seen my dashboard so shiny before. I made an appointment and met Nana. This is her business, so she is obviously well versed in auto body work as well as auto insurance. She made everything easy for me to understand, offered sage advice, and while we were talking one of her staff buffed out some paint transfer on my bumper! Literally less than a few days later my car had an appointment to be repaired. OH WAIT - you have no idea what happened! While shopping someone rammed their car door into my parked car door. She did it with so much force - there was a huge dent! Then she drove off. If my daughter wasn't in the car to witness it and photograph the car/license plates...some people are so dishonest and awful. This is why I prefer to walk a little more to park my car further away in an end spot where I know no one will damage it. Aaaanyway, my car was gone for a week as estimated and when I got it back?
