Great vinegars! The peach vinegarette was unique, reminded me of a peach gummy ring, I think it would be good in ice cream! You are able to sample all of the oils and vinegarettes, only weird thing was there wasn't any bread or crackers to taste with, you literally just sip on it. Very reasonable prices! read more

The original F Oliver's is the best place to buy gifts for any cook, chef or mother! A wide range of balsamic vinegars and olive oils to taste, I think there is 30+ to try. Ranging in flavors from peach, coconut, dark chocolate to my favorite the 18 year aged for the balsamics. Olive oils range in flavors from lemon to lime to butter to garlic. Bottles are a standard $14.95 with some being slightly higher. The staff at both locations have been extremely friendly with trying to find you the perfect match for your palate. They also know these great combinations of both the oils and vinegars for an even more unique flavor explosion! You can try as many you like, and you don't get those stares from the staff like at other retailers when you've sampled one too many! I'm excited that they are getting small sample packs for the holiday time, and hopefully they'll carry it year around. Definitely get the 18 year aged balsamic, not a crazy flavor, but a hands down favorite! I wish they start a frequent customer program, because I'll be back many times! read more

Infused olive oils and Infused Balsamic Vinegar.... WELL... let me tell you, we have a new obsession!!! We are major foodies and truly LOVE to cook! So this place sung to our every foodie desire and touched our pallette's with joy! The options are endless! And they are all stored in vintage stainless steel cases with spickets so you can try every single one! At the end of our time here... we ended up walking out with a 12-year Aged Dark Balsamic, The fresh bright Basil infused Olive Oil, Tuscan Garden Olive Oil (basil, sage, tarragon, & rosemary), & a lemon bouquet Balsamic. If you're an experimental cook, you will absolutely fall in love with this place. They have so many different artisanal extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars here. The best part is, you can sample as many as you like! The staff is super friendly and they often give creative suggestions for ways to use the oils and vinegars. I have been here twice and each time there has been a warm welcome and a wealth of information about their oils and vinegars. Where they come from, what they're made with and how each product is unique. They will compile a "taste tour" if you are new or let you mix and match your own if you are already familiar or just want to experiment. Both times I tasted until my stomach was begging me to stop! The last time that I was there I got into a long conversation about Philadelphia with the sisters who were running the place and stayed over 30 minutes just chatting. I took home a single varietal EVOO Leccino which they describe as "Green, grassy, intense, bold and stunning! Big and lingering pepper on the finish with a pleasing amount of bitterness." It has been delicious with fresh baked bread. Next time I visit I am going to pick up a bunch of combinations because I know they would make a great hostess gift for foodie friends. read more

My wife and I stopped in here by acident on a Sunday night. We looked in the window and seeing all the metal casks intrigued us so we went in. What a taste sensation. This little shop nestled in downtown Canandaigua is a gem! I first found it when a coworker raved about it. After sampling a few oils and vinegars I was hooked! The oils and vinegars are amazing. You cannot find anything else like them. If I could give this place more stars I would. The helpful staff will help you taste test anything and even make combination suggestions.
