We hired them to trim bushes and mow. Pull weeds. They left the weeds, mowed grass too short killing it, butchered the bushes. They mowed weeds in back yard and did not bother to rake up just left them and did not pull weeds in planter boxes. read more

Had them come out and do a initial trim on the yard, completely butchered the the trees and plants. Did not pull weeds or spray for weeds like promised initially. On the follow up visits which I did give them a chance to see how the maintenance goes the guy that came out did nothing in the yard besides blow leaves around and sprayed my rock everywhere with his weed wacker hitting my windows and cars. At that point I was done told the guy to leave and never come back. Tried emailing and calling to cancel the service but could not get a response. They keep sending me invoices for services that they are not performing. read more

It was nice while it lasted. They were consistently coming in bi-weekly to take care of our lawns. They were great and gave excellent business, until they one day stopped. They slowly started to show up less and less or never at all. We had to text them to let then know that they have skipped their service for 3 weeks and then they'll show up. They started showing up bi-weekly once again, until April of this year. They showed up just once and ghosted us once again. We gave them another chance to redeem themselves, but they failed us once again and not show up at all throughout the rest of April. We decided to let them go and look for another business elsewhere as they weren't reliable and the service becomes subpar. We had let them know about this and what we felt about their service and professionalism and all they could afford to say is "ok thank you for letting us know." Glad we had severed ties with this business and looked for much better one that had so far been really awesome. read more

Second time I have used this company and they again exceeded my expectations. Their price was fair and they completed all the work in one day...alley clean up, removal of stubborn morning glory overgrowth, prune 4 crepe myrtles, dug up lawn, prepared ground and replaced with river rock, prepared 4 planters with weed control plastic & humus topping, planted beautiful succulents, tapped off irrigation valve, new gate and new fence to hide pool equipment. They always clean up really well and do a pristine job. They even helped us with setting the timer on our lawn sprinklers since we didn't know how to use it very well. WOW F&M just finished my yard and WOW they did an amazing job. Maria was very open honest and communicative. She explained everything very well and answered questions before I had a chance to ask. I was told the job would take about 4 hours they were done in 1.5. I was given a very reasonable price whereas others had quoted me upward of 1500 and all I had were bushes that needed to be trimmed down. I would definitely recommend using them. read more

Found F&M through yelp, made an appointment for a weekday afternoon. Took off work early to meet them there within their hour window (3:30 - 4:30). Waited until 4:45 with no one showing up, or message telling me that they were running late. Called them and was told they would check with the person that was supposed to come out and call me back. We needed both our front and back yards landscaped as they were a total mess. Maria responded to us quickly and was able to come out and give us a quote. F & M were admittedly a little late but they get 5 Stars from me anyways for superb work. After showing them my irrigation issues around the property they immediately got to work. After a half hour of diagnosing the issues they showed me each and every problem area, explained what was wrong, and explained how they would fix it. I reached out to request an estimate for a landscaping project I needed completed. Initially, I was told that an estimator would be coming by and that I was scheduled for 11a. I then reached out to confirm timing the day of the appt and was told someone would come by at 5pm, which was fine. 5pm came and went without any follow up or call to cancel or request a new time. This is very poor customer service. And to still have no follow up after 48hrs of missing a time they set is ridiculous. If this is how the estimating process works, I shudder to think what the actual work quality is. Very disappointing. read more

I needed a clean up of my two patio gardens and F&M did a great job. Maria was very responsive and F&M has great customer service.

Constantly showed up late, and at times, not at all. Forgot to turn off sprinkler system. They set my sprinkler system up for way more water than needed and subsequently caused a huge water bill ($800). Highly unsatisfied and would recommend to stay away. Editing my review to provide a response back to Maria and Xavier. The water is billed bi-monthly, so this is a reflection of their recommendations. A recommendation of watering 45 minutes per day, now that I know, is highly irresponsible and highly costly, and frankly, unnecessary. Certainly not an expert in irrigation. read more
