On April 11th 2022 on the recommendation of a AAA tow truck service company, I go to F&D auto care get a new catalytic converter. I got the part and the owner told me after receiving the service, that I had a warranty. so I saved the receipt through email which I still have. Well today, 3 years later, I need a new catalytic converter and I remember he said I had a warranty so I called him and be accused me saying the receipt was fake. After I showed him the email, he disappeared, which I also have screenshots of. He is refusing to help me or give me warranty work for the parts. Not to mention that day on April 11th, he molested me in my car by putting his hands between my legs trying to touch my private parts, after he performed the car work and said let's go take a test drive. I pushed his hands away and he drove me back to the dealership. I was homeless at the time and he took advantage of me and I never reported that Reported him to the state today. read more

Would give this more stars if I could due to the level of service and professionalism they had with my father in laws vehicle. He had a recall malfunction which caused it to catch fire and was heavily recommended by the tow truck driver. This is my father in laws only mode of transportation and my son had to drive from Ventura county to help his father with his route. I got into an accident where a truck hitch jammed into my front bumper and radiator. So I brought my 2011 VW Tiguan into the shop and got a quote for the damages and repairs. I then asked other shops for a quote for the same repairs. F&D came at half the price of all the other mechanics. Not only was this the best price but It only took 3 days to repair a radiator the radiator support and the front bumper. If you know VW's, the parts are hard to come by but F&D was able to find a replacement and install it. The bumper was a different color, however, I was told I could get it painted for a small price. I chose to leave it Black because I think it looked sick. In addition, I was getting video installment updates throughout the process. He also showed all the broken parts of my car at the end which is impressive to see how much actual damage there was. If you love your car you need to go to F&D. 3 weeks out my car runs fine and looks almost like new. I am a very happy customer and will return for any maintenance I need in the future! read more

My Dodge Charger Harness and starter that leads to the starter caught fire on Sunday 8/22/2021. I had my vehicle towed to F&D auto. I met with the owner of the Shop who was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. His auto Techs. were already working on my Dodge. The shop is very clean and organized and his Technicians are very professional. I expected to pay 3 to 4 x the amount that he charged me. He billed me $580.00 which I was really happy ! He completed repairs in 5 hrs and I had my car back by 1 pm. He also did an oil change. He also gave me a reciept and 1 year warranty. When Raid swapped out the main battery in my 2010 Prius, Toyota charged almost $5,000 for the new battery. They said that after they were able to determine that the traded-in old battery was an original Toyota battery, they would refund $1,300. It took them over 3 months to go through that process!!! A few weeks ago, Raid (the shop owner) sent a text to me telling me that he had the refund. Unfortunately, I was in India, and wouldn't be returning for a couple of weeks. I had a friend call him, and he asked to prove that she really was acting my behalf. She drove to his shop with a piece of my mail and offered to try to call me, although I was 13 1/2 hours ahead in time. Anyway, Raid wrote a check to me for $1,300, gave it to her, and when I returned to the States last week I deposited it. The check cleared, proving to me that Raid probably has the most honest auto repair shop I've ever dealt with. I wish I could give him a 10 star rating... he deserves it!!! read more

My wife's 2002 Subaru's transmission was completely blown leaving her car disabled. We had her car towed to F&D where the following day Raid and his mechanics were able to diagnose the problem. He wanted to try and repair the transmission however we chose to order a newly remanufactured transmission. To sum it up I am totally satisfied with F&D. I wanted high end material that won't bubble and will last for a long time and he reassured me that it is lifetime warranty. I had a 2001 VM Passat. Last Summer, I was new to San Diego and was driving my car to DMV for plate changing. While I was driving on the highway, the dashboard suddenly started flashing "STOP". I had no clue about what happened, but my limited knowledge told me that I'd better STOP right now...I drove the car with the dashboard flashing "STOP" for another 5 minutes to leave the highway and found a parking lot somewhere in Poway, where I have never been to. I had so limited knowledge about a car. I felt I should check the oil level first.(There is another long story about how a gentleman who stopped by to help me checking the oil level...) And then, yes, it was extremely low...I always had one bottle of oil on my car (you know, for an old VM car....this is A must have). And I poured the bottle in thinking problem solved....But....OH,MY,GOD.....ALL was leaking to the ground!!!! I then remembered I might hit my car when I passed some "DIP" area...... I had no choice but called my insurance and they sent A.S.A.P TOWING (There is another story about how nice the gentleman from A.S.A.P was) And then me and my oil-leaking car was towed to F & D Auto Care. That was nearly 14:00 in the afternoon, and I was so depressed and thinking I may have to rent another car for the following week... But F& D is a place with MAGIC!!! Rad came and checked my car, comforted me," Don't Worry, I would fix it." "Would that cost a lot?" I was so concerned about the money issue because I had no other budget for this."No. Don't Worry!" They were so nice to me and I felt so much better. At about 17:30 that day, They fixed all the problems and I was driving my car back to my apartment. The cost? Less than 300 bucks!!!! Because the broken part could not be bought in that limited time, Rad and his guys had to think out a way to mend the broken part instead of replacing it and this also lower the total cost.And my car is still good today! After this, I do all my auto service here :) I really appreciate all the help from the nice gentleman who helped me checking the oil level and the nice gentleman from A.S.A.P Towing who comforted me, gave me Coke to cheer me up and introduced me to F&D auto.
