I contacted a few Ford dealers and collected several estimates for both a rebuilt tranny and a brand new tranny. I was referred to Brents Auto Works by a family member and also a trusted friend who had both been seeing Brent for years. I called Brents place and he answered the phone. We spoke for about 20 minutes, he was very kind and much more helpful and descriptive with me than any of the dealerships I had spoken with in the days prior. He explained to me in laymans terms the differences between the two transmissions in regards to price, labor, quality, reliability and warranty. His estimates were a little less for each tranny senario and one option came with a guarantee of his own. After speaking with him, my task became less daunting and I knew then who I felt comfortable doing business with. I informed my husband of all the estimates and I was eager for him to discuss the transmission with Brent. My husband, being a man of mechanics himself, talked shop with Brent and we made an appointment with him for the next day. We decided to go with the option of having Brents team rebuild a tranny for our truck which also included his 1 year guarantee. We had our truck back in just a few days and it runs beautifully, with no problems. This was 18 months ago and our truck has had no issues at all! It was such a positive experience for us that Brent is now our go-to mechanic because we trust him and the quality of his work. He has also done large repairs on our Jeep and now it runs smoothly. What we really appreciated about the business done at Brents Auto Works was the personal attention we received from the business owner. The invoice given to us is a three page description of all the work performed and also pages of recommendations for future repairs. Heather works in the office and she called us twice since the transmission repair just to see how the truck was driving - that was awesome! In the last 18 months, we have referred family and friends to his shop and all have been pleased with his work as well. I recommend this autoshop to all - Five Stars!

An Amazing Experience with Team Auto Center…read more Hello everyone, I own a transportation company and operate several SUVs. I used to have all of my vehicles serviced at the dealership. However, one of my vehicles stayed at the dealership for more than two months, and they still couldn't fix the problem. It got to the point where I was seriously considering filing a Lemon Law case. After speaking with Omar, the owner of Team Auto Service, he told me, "Bring the vehicle to me." Honestly, it felt like they perform magic on cars! The vehicle had been at the shop for only three hours when Omar called me and told me it was ready. I picked it up, and it was running perfectly. I want to sincerely thank Team Auto Center, Omar, and his entire team for their professionalism, speed, and expertise. After this experience, Team Auto Center will definitely be one of my first choices for servicing my company's vehicles. Thank you, Team Auto Center!

The guy who runs the shop is named Shivan and he is Kurdish and from Iraq. He spent some time telling me his story of how he was able to come to the USA. He served as a translator with the U.S. Army in Iraq and was able to emigrate here. When I brought in my 1997 Mazda Protege, Shivan immediately and correctly diagnosed the rattling sound that seemed to be coming from my trunk. I spent quite a bit of time myself trying to locate the problem but was unsuccessful. Shivan said the rear, passenger-side shock absorber needed to be replaced. I had that done and the rattling went away. Shivan also charged a very, very fair price for the part and labor. If you need work done on your vehicle, get an estimate from him. Most likely, he will be cheaper and more reasonable than a lot of other auto repair places. Be sure to tell him "Yaakov" sent you :)

Located in a warehouse business district. I initially was turned around getting there using my iPhone map app. Luckily I got the address and found them. There is a lack of business signage but can be located by looking at the large numbers on the buildings designating the addresses. The business operates in a building in the back.
