We were lucky to learn about this shop from a family member. Our first interaction was when I called to get new brakes on a hybrid with 60,000 miles because I thought they might be due. This would have been an easy payday for them, but instead they were honest and told me the brakes were fine and would last much longer. Peter stated and noted on an invoice an estimate for a repair would cost 620 dollars in labor and between 1-2 hundred for parts. Left there paying 1370 dollars. Almost double the original estimate. Labor cost went from 620 to 1140. I understand estimates aren't exact but they shouldn't be that far off. Things like this undermine the integrity of the repair shop. I brought my SC430 here for the 2nd time for some outside the box work. We swapped a LSD from a JDM Aristo into a SC430 amongst other things. Their attention to detail and commitment to finding a solution to problems that arise on an uncommon install like this are hard to find. They even caught that the fluid I had mistakenly bought wasn't correct for the differential. We've been very happy with Stefano's and have been taking our 2012 Lexus CT200h there for all of its required maintenance. They don't try to convince you to agree to additional work you really don't need and their prices are reasonable, especially compared to the dealer. We are very disappointed in Lexus that a steering component wore out and loosened up (intermediate shaft), something that simply should not have happened if Toyota/Lexus had specified the correct metal alloys and used high strength hardware. We have never had a problem like this with any other cars and we're not happy that we had to deal with something like this after "upgrading" to a Lexus. This is such a prevalent issue in certain Toyota and Lexus cars that repair shops have been stocking the part, yet Lexus won't admit anything or take responsibility for this obvious defect that deserves a recall notice. In our experience, Honda and Subaru have been much more trustworthy. Stefano's cost to do the shaft replacement was less than the dealership, which should come as no surprise. We won't be buying any more Lexus cars, but we'll continue to take our other cars to Stefano's. They've earned it. read more

While Steve may specialize in luxury imports, don't let that scare you off. We brought our F-150 to him and he did a great job diagnosing and fixing the problems that another mechanic had created. The work was completed in a very timely manner and at a fraction of what a dealer would have charged. We all dread getting our vehicles fixed but Steve took the worries out of the process. Like most people my car is my lifeline. So when it malfunctioned on 805 during rush hour I was terrified. My car had stopped working completely and would not start again. My friend had used Luxury import care and he suggested we have the car towed there. So we had the car towed there after hours. I was able to contact Peter with my information and why my car was in their parking lot. My car is a Chevy Camaro and I was worried that they wouldn't work on it because it wasn't an import. Not a problem at all don't let the name fool you they work on many different makes of vehicles. Peter got back to me the next day with their findIngs and an estimate on fixing it. The estimate was very costly so I wanted to see what my options were. Luxury import was amazing about it. They took care of my car for a little over a week and and worked with me every step of the way. Communication from them was excellent. The labor is extremely fair and my car was in excellent hands. Seriously the best place to bring your car for all repair needs. Recently, the Lexus dealership wanted $1,300.00 worth of repairs. I took the car in for a recall. I felt they were ripping me off so I brought the car to Luxury (where we always go). I was quoted about $250.00 for repairs. That's a significant difference from the $1,300.00 the dealership wanted. Steve worked on my Lexus before opening Luxury Import Care when I had it serviced at the Lexus dealership.  He had just opened his business when I needed major servicing on a 2002 Lexus ES300.  I had received an extremely high estimate from the dealership.  I asked Steve to complete all of the same repairs. The work was completed and the invoice was one-third of the amount the dealership planned to charge.  I am still driving that car and I know it is because I've remained a loyal customer. My much loved LS was rear-ended and damaged in an accident. The frame was bent and the car should have been totaled (after 8 trips to the body shop)... but that is a whole other story. I ended up getting rid of the LS and I got an Infiniti. Luxury Import Care has been working on my Infiniti since I got it and they continue to be excellent.
