I'll start with the constructive portion of this review. I really wish EOS had more squat racks--I've never been able to use one, no matter what time of day I go. Replacing a few of the underutilized treadmills and stationary bikes with more racks would make a huge difference. I also wish they made the body scanner publicly accessible, just like the standard scale. Many members already know what they're doing and don't need a personal trainer to guide them, so the scanner should be available for independent use. Other than that, the amenities are great, the facility is generally clean, and I love that every location in my area includes a sauna. Being able to access multiple locations with my Blue membership for such a low price is a major plus! read more

Wish I could give them a big fat zero. If you know me you know I don't usually post bad reviews as I am always wanting to give benefit of the doubt to businesses. Well these guys just lost their benefit and doubt is all I have unfortunately. I signed up for a family plan with the gym as they had a promotion and I could get my wife on the same gym plan. Well lone behold these guys set us up but somehow ended up creating 2 separate accounts for my wife and I which was the mistake from the start. They seem nice and helpful when you are signing up but have no follow thru or common courtesy to those who have an account issue or are choosing to cancel their membership like I chose to. For the record my choice to cancel was not based on their lack of service or their gym. To be honest the gyms are very nice. I just couldn't work out anymore due to medical issues. I even had my membership paying automatically for about 4 months without going to the gym so they got some free money out it which I don't ask for back. I called this week to speak to someone and got their customer service line which is someone who not technically at the gym. Sounded like a call center overseas. They could not help me but instead recommended that I contact the gym directly. My response was that I dialed the number for the local gym and got the overseas person on the line ‍ So I had to call back and go thru the prompts all over again after having been on hold for over 10 minutes just to talk to someone. When I called back to try and get someone at the gym location directly, I was on hold for 20 minutes. I had to wait because this is important and I had a written cancellation and acknowledgement of my cancellation request which was from May 2026. Well here we are in September on 2026 and guess what? My card has been getting the auto debit every month since then still. Their "manager" Richard finally came onto the line and explained to me that for some reason the system set up my membership but put my wife separately so they claim that she needed to cancel her membership. I didn't understand this as I was the one who set up the membership and did not ask for it to be separate. I hate to assume things but I do feel like this is a shady move to make it difficult to cancel the membership. Gyms already have a bad stigma for that same thing, people claim it is hard to cancel. The manager acknowledged that there was some sort of an error and had said that he was going to be leaving work soon and needed a few days to work on a case for refunds on the months where I shouldn't have been charged since I had cancelled back in May. He promised me he would call me back Thursday, mind you it was Monday when I spoke to him originally so he had a whole 4 days to work on this and keep his word to call me back. Well here it Friday and I had no call. I called again and got a young lady on the phone and when I asked for Richard and told her my situation, she stated he was going to be leaving work and asked if he can call me back tomorrow. At this point I am fed up with them and will most likely have to go in person to downtown, mind you I live by the Air Force Base and we are an Air Force family at that who now have to drive all the way down there because they do not have the common courtesy to follow thru with what they promise. BUYERS BEWARE!! Another typical gym bash but I think you can see that my case is not uncommon but what they don't know is that I do that all the call recordings from my conversations and am prepared to use them wherever needed in order to expose the shady practices and overall lack of basic customer service from this gym. . Update to come and possibly on socials via TikTok, Instagram and other major socials. read more

I came before 2 pm so this review may be different from when it's packed. I came at a good time because there were only a few people there. I was kindly greeted up front. Downstairs you'll find the main bathrooms, a small turf area, and some weights. Upstairs is the main gym. I've been to a few EOS locations in the West Valley + Phoenix area and this is actually one of my favorite. I think the view of downtown is nice and it feels like a scenic workout. There's plenty of machines and I like that they're spread out and put in categories so it's not too hard to find what you're looking for. The women's bathroom is spacious, (a plus is that it's clean) and there's a lot of areas for you to sit down and get ready. They also have blow dryers. There's a large locker room as well with a sauna. I think I've found my main EOS! :) read more

Me and my Girlfriend both signed up for. She had a membership from work and I did the $25a month membership. We were promised personal trainers. Never happened! We also told annual membership would be waived . I was charged two weeks later. I asked for a refund and apparently I'll have to wait 2 to 4 weeks before I'll get it back and that also depends on district manager approval on a refund that wasn't supposed to to be waived in the first place. Go somewhere else . Also if you are over 25 and want to lose wait and time up they will make it uncomfortable to be there, read more

One star until they fix their movie room! The projector is broken and the picture is barely visible because there is so much light coming in from the outside that the screen is always washed out. I tried calling the front desk bc it was completely off and no notice was posted about it being broken. I hope management actually takes this seriously and fixes it because it completely ruins the experience. read more

Love this place. It's not as packed as you'd think it'd be which was unexpected in my opinion for it being located downtown phx. Great crew and always clean. Rich is always smiling & very welcoming ! Cracking jokes and making sure my workout went well! Also, good thanks to Jared as well for getting me my membership! Provided me much info and made sure I got what I needed. Love that this location is near everything & nice people here. read more

EōS Fitness - I have no idea what is in this picture. Is it a candy bar? Did somebody drop feces on it? - Gyms Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I love EOS and this location is great. Parking is a little difficult but you are able to get parking validated, which is a huge benefit downtown. The lobby area and the staff are great. It is very inviting and different from any other EOS I've been to. I'm walked up the stairs and went to the weight and cardio area. It is pretty awesome and surrounded by windows overlooking cityscape. Downtown space is a commodity so I understand the limited equipment but don't come here expecting everything you would have at the other locations. The equipment is a little dated but well cared for. Some of the other locations have been updated, but not this one. The locker rooms have never been clean any time I've been here and there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower. Also you pay extra for this location, and I'm not really sure why since it has less amenities than others. I don't know if it is a signature gym because of the location but definitely not worth the extra money. read more

I have to give a special thank you to Lupita, the manager here. She provides amazing customer service and worked so hard to get a successful resolution on my issue. I've never had such a positive encounter with the gym team. It's always been good but Lupita went above and beyond. The gym itself has all the equipment you need and is standard....i do enjoy looking out the window when doing the treadmill or stair climber. Would recommend this facility for the customer service alone. read more

This location has a Contenders Corner but won't let members use the equipment at their convenience. Extremely inconvenient option for members. Why have athletic and gym equipment in the gym if members can't use it? So the facility will gladly take your monthly payment but limit your equipment no matter what tier you pay for? That doesn't make sense. Not everyone wants to join a class or can align their busy schedule to a class. It should be open for all members or at least certain tiers during business hours. This location could do better! read more

Hi, i've had a membership for two years and you guys have been double charging me for two years for two memberships under the same name. Extremely disappointed that the Bodypump group fitness classes are being removed from this studio. The Monday and Wednesday classes at 5:30 are almost always packed with a great atmosphere of members that either live or work never the facility. It was the primary reason to join EOS. Unfortunately the management has stated just redirected us to the Osborn location which is not at a beneficial timeslot for members. Next near location is more than 30 minutes. read more

E nostic Fitness gives hopes of a friendly community, but creates disorganized and crowded atmosphere. The "High Value. Low Price." model is a good idea until you have to wait to get equipment when the business is at its busiest. Such amenities as the cinema cardio room and turf area are also good ideas, but are usually poorly maintained and kept clean. Employees are hospitable, but the gym is more of a crowded discount warehouse than of a place to belong. No problem in off-hours, but otherwise exasperating. read more

Me and 30 or so members switched from Mountain side off Shea cause they took the Sauna out and replaced with Infra red (inferior). The Via Linda signature location has the Sauna down after 5 months of opening. I need it for health reasons...the reason we all switched. It has been down for 6 weeks. I ask at the front desk, what the hell is going on? I get the replys, we have called 5 people to come look at it. The contractor warranty is 1 year. Its a huge corporation, BUY A NEW UNIT, and hand it over to the attorneys. It is mind boggling the incompetence of the manager. I am thinking its definetely time to move. read more

The gym itself is fine, aside from the regular plumbing issues. However, the location regularly is not open by their 6am scheduled open time. Gym goers in the area can speak to the consistency of this issue and the disappointment felt when you rush to the gym for a quick workout before a day full of event only to find the gym closed and the next nearest gym 12 minutes away. I am usually a patient consumer who does not write negative reviews, but this has repeatedly been a hindrance for me and today I left the gym at 7:03 am and it was still unopened. The most recent communication is that the regional manager or district manager was contacted and has not responded, presumably because they are still asleep. Please fix this issue. read more

I chose this location not because it's closer but because it's smaller, less intimidating and I liked the views of the city while getting in a good workout. It has everything I need and yay for towels! They have a really friendly, lovely front desk staff. That's about where it ends for customer service. They weren't open 2 weeks ago because their opener didn't come in. I got a call from the general manager the same week to ask about my feedback after signing up and when I asked what happened he said "I don't really know." I had to probe with "I heard someone didn't show?" And he then shared that he's not even sure and got a text that no one was there to open. I recommend the manager look into/practice some more effective management techniques other than "I'm not really sure." I've been two weekends in a row looking to complete a scheduled training session with one of the "trainers" and each weekend they've been a no-show. Like clockwork, I receive a notification from a "trainer" to schedule a workout as if being stood up is normal and nothing happened. No apologies, no call about the absence. Best believe I do get notifications to refer my friends... more frequently than a call about wasting my time. Really bummed but am going to have to suck it up and brave the Osborn location! read more

That Eos business reply is a lie. No one responds to the email either. It is literally impossible to just cancel. EOS is killing their own business by simply making it impossible to get any simple solution handled properly. Don't even attempt at that fake email reply smh. read more

Love coming here. Has everything I need with good equipment, a sauna and clean bathrooms!

Best gym ever. Best location hands down. Ask for Tommy. Definitely recommend if you're in the city.

I would work out here a lot from almost 10 years ago when it once was Gold's Gym, but now EöS Fitness has taken over the majority of all Gold's & 24 Hour Fitness in Maricopa County. A complete redo of the gym with LF & Hammer Strength machines in EöS fashion. A signature feature that is different from other gym chains is that they have a Cardio Theater Room! Really neat, you can watch a movie on a huge screen while working out on your cardio machine. I love the fact that one area is a designated for The Yard. Cardio machines, including my favorite machine the StairMaster, is along the perimeter of the main floor. Validated parking available when you park in the CityScape Tower. But I'd walk from my hotel two blocks away. read more

So disappointed in EOS fitness. Not the downtown location and its phenomenal staff, but the corporate office. I got online, and went to the email address where corporate gives to CANCEL a membership because I was injured. I did that. I quickly received a phone call trying to get me to change my mind and put a 90 day hold on that membership. I agreed to do that. Less than a week later, I got charged for personal fitness training (which I obviously could not use because I couldn't use the EOS facility). At that same address I used for CANCELLING my membership, I sent a follow-up email, same address, explaining, my account "was placed on a 90 day freeze. Today I was charged $150.00 for more personal training, which I obviously can't use. Please reverse this charge immediately. If it is not reversed, I wish to cancel my membership altogether." This charge was never reversed; meaning that I had cancelled my membership on November 15, 2025. I got a text regarding my account and I called. The manager stating that I had a past due balance. I told her that was impossible; I had cancelled. I found the email, and she said I sent it to the wrong address. It was acceptable the first time I cancelled, but not the second, sent to the same address with the very clear instruction to cancel well before the 90 day hold expired. First, I was never given a copy of a contract. So I am baffled how, if it was the correct address to cancel the first time it suddenly was incorrect the second time. The EOS billing person was rude and unprofessional. I will not pay any "past due" balance, because I timely requested to cancel by going to the EOS site and following the instructions. This is how companies lose credibility, by advertising that you can cancel at any time, but then pull a stunt like this and then threaten you with collections. read more

Don't base your decision to join on the class offerings at the time, as those can decrease at any time. As of September, 2025 many MANY classes have been discontinued, leading to it being EXTREMELY difficult to find any open classes. You literally now have to set your alarm for 03:30 am the previous morning (when booking opens) to book a class for 05:30 the next day, or it will be full. I had to hire a personal trainer (do NOT hire one of theirs, they are EXTREMELY overpriced and they will push push push you to hire them) because the group lifting classes are no longer available. read more

If you happen to be staying in any surrounding hotel in the area this must become your gym. They have an amazing contract they have set up to entice and keep new members to their gym. EOS Fitness is by far the worst fitness club I have ever belonged to the same can be said for the business acumen and practices. I recently received an agreement for personal training that I didn't agree to I tried to cancel it and they outright refused to do so on top of which they said I have to do four training sessions before I can try to cancel because I didn't try to cancel 3 day ago which I only got yesterday which I meet with the manager.
