I've been an EōS member for nine years now, having the highest membership tier that allows me to hop around locations, and I gotta say that this location is pretty decent. They have already expanded once and fixed up the parking lot so it's nice. They also have the best instructors here (shout out to Alycia and Sydney). EōS is a solid gym and I have no real complaints. I get to do what I need to do and get out with relative ease. Parking can be a nightmare though as it's a very popular EōS location. I often find myself parking in the back, which isn't bad during the cooler months, but during the summer, it's awful. The sun is in your eyes the whole walk out to the front as the front faces westwards and I usually pop in during the afternoon. To be fair, I think all EOS have a parking lot situation that is reminiscent of Squid Game season two's merry-go-round game. We can't have it all, I suppose. read more

The worst experience I've ever had with any gym. This EOS location reactivated my cancelled account without permission or knowledge, charged me for 6 months, and then sent it to collections. When I tried to resolve it, management told me the only "forgiveness" was to sign up for another membership to clear my "debt". BEWARE THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!! Had to pay them for services I never knew I was being charged for just to get out of collections. Called several times to cancel, only to be refused and directed online. Online process for cancelling is obtuse to the nth degree, obviously on purpose to retain memberships by banking on people's frustration. The stated reason for refusal to cancel membership was they did it over the phone once and the member didn't get a confirmation and can't pull account info. The guy just pulled up my email and read my name to me, lol. Either the staff are playing dumb to keep people from canceling, or they're actually that dumb and lazy. Unsurprising if it's the latter The company and its staff have no principles outside of the superficial. The staff consistently exhibit dishonest, lazy behavior- but it's infamous at this point, it's why they removed reviews on their Apple Maps page. Walked in as a guest and discovered there was a late fee from 2 years prior that I knew nothing about. They set me up as a new member in order to pay for the supposed fees owed, then cancelled my membership same day on the spot. One month later I'm being charged an annual fee AFTER MY MEMBERSHIP WAS CANCELLED! Why would I be charged an annual fee if my membership was closed same day. This is the location I signed up for back when gyms reopened and got the membership that allows me to visit others if I please. It was extremely nice and clean and all equipment and sanitizing stations, but in the last 7 months I've been to other locations and revisited the Alma School location in a pinch before work and I'd rather go to a clean gym that's 9.7 miles away and be late to work than work out at a gym that doesn't have the proper sanitation areas or equipment that works properly just because it's 1.7 miles away read more

This gym is awesome and really does deserve a 5 star for all the amenities they have and where they're located, however I've never ever been to a EOS or gym ever that was this busy all the time. Like literally, there's no downtime or slow time at this gym, it's always always busy, so because of that, equipment isn't always available to use. But that isn't particularly a complaint. It's more of just explaining for the person reading the review because I know some people want to be at a gym with less people than more, but some people don't care at all. There's a pool but no hot tub in case anyone cares, but they have a sauna in the pool room. I like that it's in the pool room because I can go in with my husband. I don't like the ones that are in the bathrooms themselves because I can't be with him. I've been going here for over a year and my husband for I believe over 2 years. I met my personal trainer here that I still work with even though he's at another gym. My daughter loves the play place and the staff that works with the children. It's very big and has a lot of fun areas to fun around in for the children. I know some other locations aren't as cool with their child area. We love the app, we love the service and the staff. I'm extremely frustrated with management! I canceled my membership in July of this year and have still not received my refund and it is almost the end of October. I have called every week or every other week for the past four months for me to be told that I need to wait two weeks to see my refund in my bank account. Every time I call back the answer that they give me is "I don't know why it isn't going through..." To also mention, every time I call I ask for them to give me a call back when someone that can help is available to call me, but I never receive a call! Management also says that I'm the one that needs to call to see if I got the refund as they themselves will not tell me if it went through. It's been four months and I still do not have a refund for my annual membership and three months worth of monthly fees. I have canceled my membership in the app multiple times and on the website as well as in person. read more

This is the EOS we use most as its closest to our sons school. Pros: 1. Many Shower and Bathroom stalls compared to some other EOS we have been into. 2. Staff is friendly and gave me a guest barcode so I wouldn't have to fill out the guest form everytime I come in with my husband. 3. They have the $10 a month Towel service! 4. The place is very clean! Cons 1. The cinema room is quite small and cramped 2. The cinema room gets super hot if more than a couple people are in it. 3. They didn't tell us that all EOS don't have the towel service so we didn't know when we went to the Scottsdale one. We haven't tried out the kids area yet but will update when we do! Overall great gym and no crazy unknown fees like other big name gyms. read more

I have to say there has been a consistent effort to keep equipment functioning. I still won't set foot in the sauna. Capacity has been a very big issue. I cannot say it's new years resolutions. It is more packed than ever. Thursday the gym was so overloaded A,B,C,D,E, and F plans thrown out the window. It seems like they either need to expand or open a location at riverview. January 14 I registered as a new member at the Mesa greenfield location great location by the way . This location on Alma school was the worst . I prepared a duffle bag with workout clothes for two weeks .. January 15 I loaded a locker at the Alma school location . I moved to this location because it was only 5 min away from job at banner medical at the time . I come back on the 17th of January only to find my lock has been cut by the employee at the gym . Overall great! I was visiting from out of state and went between 7am-9am. Sam the assistant manager was working the front desk and helped me out with a daily pass. He gave me a quick intro about the place and was professional. I was pleased with the size of the gym, the equipment, and cleanliness. It wasn't overcrowded and I never had to wait for any equipment or machines. They had more than plenty of what you needed to get any kind of workout in. We have had two negative encounters at EOS. They are quick to sign you up for additional training sessions or their stretching specialists, charging additional fees. We have been "stood up" multiple times because of lack of follow through on the part of their employees and management. Make sure you know what you are signing up for and make them accountable. DO.NOT.GO.HERE!!!!! This place is run by the most incompetent, inconsiderate children I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. Do not let anyone even mention personal training to you, it's a money grab TRAP that they make nearly impossible to cancel. I signed up for one session with a trainer to see if I wanted to actually go through with personal training. The trainer then cancelled our session, and so I decided to cancel my contract (which it says clear as day-you have three business days to do). I spoke to the front, was told it was done, and went on my way. Two weeks later I get a charge for $228 on my credit card. I immediately call the gym requesting to speak to TREVOR-who signed me up initially. I was told by the poor kid at the front that he doesn't answer phone calls, and that it would be a waste of time to try to get him on the phone. That the only way to speak to him would be in person. As mentioned in other posts, I was told that PT is "impossible to cancel" and "they do this on purpose." He asked me not to share his name for fear of being reprimanded. He was the only person in this dump who actually helped me out. It took me taking time out of my day TWICE and speaking to this Trevor guy, an unanswered email to management, and TWO effing charges on my credit card that were never supposed to be charged in the first place in order for them to get things cancelled and refunded, now over a month later. Every EOS I've been to is very popular and always busy- they have competitive pricing and lots of cool features. Love the cardio cinema and variety in machines. I will say during the pandemic, there was a 'mix up' with some billing. I owed some absurd amount of fees when I wasn't using the gym (which they had stated billing would be suspended due to the pandemic), disputed those charges, was told I didn't need to pay, and was given a reduced amount to pay. When I gave them my card information to draft the reduced amount, they still drafted the full amount and it took two weeks to have that refunded. I would give 4 stars if that billing issue hadn't occurred. read more

You are unable to find a parking spot is more like a meat market overcrowding to make matters worse when he came to my annual renewal they charged me my monthly the annual renewal and and had the nerve to lie to me and told me that my card was declined and charge me an additional $25. Conveniently located right off the 60 freeway! Brand new equipment, cinema cardio room, pool, sauna, & large lockers in the lock room. They also have towel service for $9.99 a month at this location only. 4 stars only because particular staff members are not as friendly as others. A few staff members told me I can check out the foam vibrating roller at the front desk that I've used countless times. Then one staff member told me it's only if I have a personal trainer. She catered every workout to my goals and talked in depth with me about my training history prior to the workout to ensure that we were doing exactly what I needed. Olivia is super sweet, very funny and a great personality to work with. I'll definitely be returning for more sessions with her. read more
