Unfortunately, they had to get rid of the basketball court back in April this year after it became a liability with some guys in there getting in fights. It has since been replaced with more workout equipment. Even without the basketball court, I still use the medicine ball to do shooting motions so I can stay ready whenever I do play basketball. They have a wide selection of equipment for the price you pay. While some of the equipment is a little older than other locations, this is the main location I come to because it is the closest EOS to where I live. They recently added some more modern equipment, which is pretty cool. Another reason I enjoy EOS is its friendly staff. Whenever they are not busy, I enjoy having friendly conversations with them about life and other things, and they always ask me what day it is at the gym. No matter the day, I take every day in the gym seriously, but I also make sure to have fun with it. EOS Fitness is an excellent choice for a gym with great equipment at a reasonable price. It was charging five dollars a month.. Those five dollars fees were returned by my bank and when I looked at the statements were charging me (2) $36 overdraft fee for each one. They show you how insensitive they are the receptionist Jessica told me proudly what they were declined. Don't even give a damn about my situation and I'm standing there with two rods in my back limp in there. I had to come back the following week so that the $15 were clear so I can use the gym so I want the whole month of June when I should be in their rehab clearing up this BS they disrespectful they don't care EOS they sucks. I hope they go out of business To make a long story short, I put my account on hold for three months back in February with EOS. I was unaware it was charging me $5 dollars a month. They didn't tell me that while I was in recovery. I was unaware of $15. I paid the $15 10!days ago thinking that everything was OK. But for whatever reason they come up with these charges, they came out to $49.99 with the $15 total $65!! EOS is giving me a credit for $25. I needed the refund money.

The atmosphere has a near-perfect mix of old-school and high-end anabolic/clean equipment. If you want to compete and be engulfed entirely in the bodybuilding environment, then 100% spend the $69 to get a membership. They also occasionally freeze adding new members, so as to avoid the gym ever feeling too busy (maintaining the "private gym" experience and community), which is amazing, and something I've never seen before. Cons: The price is $69 ($59 if you commit to 3 months, or $49 if you commit to 6 months) per month, which is quite the sum. There is also no two arm cable machine, save the large cable machine in the middle. This makes some sense, because this is supposed to be very old school bodybuilding-esc, so it's definitely something that I wouldn't necessarily say is a bad thing, but it's important to consider if you can't see yourself working out without that. Overall, if you can get past the price and want perhaps the best gym vibe around, this is absolutely 100% the place you HAVE to go to. The community is amazing so positive as well. I would love to compete one day, but I'm currently not in a position to afford that price, so I won't be going here beyond my three day free pass for the time being. If you can afford it, however, definitely don't miss out on this opportunity. It's something I'm not sure you can find anywhere else.

The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. The owner walks the walk if you know what I mean. The old owners were amazing people but not so much the new ones. I went in several times during "staffed hours" to try to cancel my membership due to me jointing a new gym only to find a paper on the door that said no one is going to be staffing that day. I finally got in when there was someone there at the desk and told him I needed to cancel my membership and he wrote a phone number down and told me that they have removed their ability to stop membership at the location and that I had to call "Sergio". I called the number a couple times over the course of the next days and finally got intact with Sergio who happens to work at an Anytime Fitness in California somewhere. I told him my situation, and he looked up my account and said that I am paid and in good standing and I can cancel. I told him to go ahead and do that to which he told me that I had to call ABC Financial the third-party billing system to do so and he gave me their number. So, I called that number talked to a clueless person who pulled up my account and when I told her that I would like to stop being billed, she said that I had to contact the Anytime Fitness to do that. I told her that I have already done that and they directed me to ABC. She said OK then I will cancel for you and got off the line. I never got a conformation email or anything, so I went to the Anytime Fitness website and left my concerns with my contact information. Later that evening I got a text from "Dawson" The manager at Anytime Fitness Mesa. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience, and he would personally reach out to ABC and take care of the cancelation. I still never got an email conformation but took him at his word. At the end of the month, I once again got charged for my membership and I reached out to Dawson and told him that I was once again charged. After 5 days Dawson reached out again said he was sorry and that there was a "miscommunication and he would resolve the issue." I asked him to get an email conformation of the cancellation and gave him my email even though it should be on file. Today I have been charged again now that it is the end of the month. I have just spoken to my bank and had them block any future charges. It sounds like these new owners have no business running a legitimate business that doesn't try to steal your money month after month. At the very least Dawson should be ashamed of how he has handled things to let it get this far. So once again beware if you're going to join this gym unless you want to be a member for life. All their good reviews come from when owners that cared about the buisness owned it. Also, I have all the text messages between Dawson and myself if they want to dispute this review.
