Despite only being a member for 2 weeks my experience has been phenomenal at Deezel. Rob is an incredible owner and made the sign up process very easy and clear! Hands down a better gym than any commercial ones! Would highly recommend !

I lean towards laziness, I avoid plain rice and chicken dishes and I want ice cream with birthday cake in my protein shakes. So if you're like me then this is the gym that will help inspire you to reach your goals. This gym is the answer to what you need to push yourself past that point to get off the couch, to put down that second doughnut, and start feeling better about your body and the way you look. The membership cost $29 a month and you get a FOB to come in 24 seven. The gym is always clean and the members go out of their way to keep it clean. There are plenty of small towels and cleaning supply to wash the equipment before and after for whatever sanitation likes you desire and that make you feel comfortable in your surroundings. Deezel is a gym that is set up to be safe and make you feel safe. There are cameras to watch and keep the members safe. The owner and his trainers go out of their way to welcome diversity with anybody looking to better themselves physically and healthy. Whether you can only afford the reasonable $29 membership fee or you can afford the very reasonable training prices - group or 1:1. You will find the staff to happily answer questions, show you how to correctly use the equipment and don't mind giving free advice. This is not a commercial gym. This gym is a put-your-phone-away, workout -get in-get out- so you can enjoy the rest your busy day and other life requirements type of gym. You will not see people hanging out and distracting others from their workouts. You'll find a community who is very respectful to you and your goals as they work out to achieve their physical and health goals. Deezel is a community of like minded (again) diverse members from show competitors to people like myself that want to look good enough in swim attire and still be able to eat a donut, taco or have the creamer in my coffee guilt free. If you need the motivation? Come in meet Rob the owner - Trish, Doug, Mark a few of his independent competition winners and trainers and tell them your goals. You'll find in a couple months from joining the community that your changing and seeing results to keep you motivated, finally becoming the person you see yourself being, the confidence in yourself in moving around the gym will blow your mind and you can still sneak in a donut or two in times of need -which seems to be a daily need for me.

Where do I even begin... -CLEANLINESS: 10/10 - Cleanest gym I've ever been to! -ENVIRONMENT: 10/10 - Super friendly and welcoming -RESULTS: 10/10 - Yes! If you want results, Rob will make sure you will achieve it. Deezel is a place that will inspire you to want to become a better version of yourself. It's a place that is filled with welcoming members that see each other as friends rather than strangers. I can't say enough great things about Deezel and about Rob. Once you walk through those doors, Rob is instantly invested in you and your well being. He will always make sure you are on the right track with your fitness goals and journey. That's something rare that you don't find in many places. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. I can promise you, you won't regret it!

I train and pose with a close group of friends here every Saturday and quite honestly Saturdays have become my favorite day of the week. The gym is clean with tons of different machines you won't find anywhere else. The design and appeal of the gym with graffiti on the walls only adds to the motivation to kick your own ass! Not to mention the owner, Robert, is one of the most down to earth, genuine people you will ever meet.

Not a lot of locations have those, and I wish more did. It was a Saturday afternoon so not very busy. This gym was large and had a lot of space which was nice. The people working were friendly. I'd definitely come back to this location if I was in the area.

The gym itself is a bit older and smaller than some of the newer locations. It gets very busy in the late afternoon and evening, especially after work. That said, they still have a decent amount of equipment, so you can usually get a full workout in--it just takes a little more patience during peak hours. The biggest issue here is the men's bathroom. It's consistently dirty every time I've been in, which is disappointing. On top of that, whoever installed the hand dryer clearly wasn't thinking it through. It's mounted only about six inches above the counter, so your hands end up touching the counter while you're drying them, which is pretty gross. Overall, it's a functional gym that gets the job done, especially if proximity matters. It could use some updates and better attention to cleanliness, but it's not a bad place to work out if you go in knowing what to expect.

I actually liked the gym itself and its equipment selection, but my experience with the membership process and staff interactions created so much unnecessary frustration and ill will that I have now requested cancellation of all my EōS memberships and decided I would rather find another gym. One of my biggest issues was my repeated interactions with Kiani regarding the fitness/personal-training program. I clearly said that I wasn't interested, but instead of simply accepting "no," I felt repeatedly questioned and pressured about my decision. He asked me things like "How will you reach your goals?" as though I couldn't successfully work toward my fitness goals without enrolling in their program. This was particularly irritating because I had already successfully lost about 10 lb on my own. I explained that I normally exercise 5-6 days per week, doing approximately 10 minutes of cardio and 30-40 minutes of strength training. I was then told that this wasn't enough and that I should instead be doing around 30 minutes of cardio plus an hour of strength training. My doctors and nutrition professionals have been supportive of the routine I've been following, and consistency rather than excessive intensity has been what actually helped me make progress. I wasn't asking for my workout routine to be critiqued. I was simply saying that I did not want to purchase a fitness/personal-training program. Offering the program once is perfectly reasonable. What I found inappropriate was repeatedly questioning why I didn't want it, questioning how I would reach my goals, and "fitness-splaining" to me why my existing routine supposedly wasn't enough after I had already declined. "No, thank you" should have been enough. Unfortunately, the membership issue that followed made the experience considerably worse. I initially signed up online for Will Crush and shortly afterward decided that Will Power better suited what I wanted. I contacted EōS and then went to this location in person on September 3 specifically to cancel Will Crush and sign up for Will Power. Kiani handled this and told me that Will Crush had been cancelled and that everything was "all set." I left believing that the old membership was cancelled. My app continued showing Will Crush, however, so I followed up. The next day, Olivia actually checked my account and told me that Will Crush was still active and had NOT been cancelled. She then submitted another cancellation request to management and told me that it was expected to be processed by September 9 or 10. My September 4 written correspondence documents that I had been told the membership was cancelled in person and subsequently learned that it remained active. I want to be clear that Olivia was helpful, and my complaint is not directed at her. She actually checked the account, discovered the problem, explained what had happened, and attempted to get it corrected. What I find unacceptable is going to the gym specifically to cancel a membership, being told that it was cancelled and everything was taken care of, and then discovering afterward that the membership was still active. This was also happening while I was within the cancellation/rescission period stated in my membership agreement. The agreement itself says that a member may cancel before midnight of the third operating day after receiving the agreement and is entitled to a full refund when cancellation occurs within that period. Instead of a simple membership change, I have had to repeatedly follow up, submit online inquiries, call, return in person, send written cancellation notices and create my own documentation because I don't want to discover later that I'm being charged for memberships I requested cancelled. At that point, the accumulated experience changed my opinion of the gym entirely. The repeated pressure and unsolicited "fitness-splaining" had already created considerable ill will, and discovering that a membership I was explicitly told had been cancelled was actually still active was the final straw. I have now requested cancellation of all my EōS memberships. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked the equipment, but I would rather find another gym than deal with a membership experience where saying "no" to an additional paid program isn't simply respected and where I have to repeatedly follow up to make sure a cancellation I was told was completed actually happened.

We were visiting Tempe and wanted to squeeze in a workout so found this place on Yelp. It was super easy to sign up and only $15 for a drop in which I think is on the lower end of most gyms whether it's spin, yoga, or training. The instructor was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable as newbies. Let's be honest no one likes being in an unfamiliar class unsure of where to stand or what to expect alongside a bunch of regulars. The class was tough -- but in a good way. Their leg day was a true leg day, I don't think I've ever done so many squats (in various forms of course). My legs are absolute jello. As with any interval class you really can go at your own pace though it's hard to not feel motivated to push yourself with the trainer walking around encouraging you. I like that they start exactly on time even if the entire class is present just in case there are late stragglers. The space is HUGE - you can fit tons of people in there without it feeling congested or as if you're stepping on someone's toes. It's clean with lots of equipment options so you're not fighting over weights. The playlist was great (though wouldn't mind it louder to drown out the "omg this hurts when is it going to end" thoughts passing through my head haha) They have a smoothie and açaí shop connected to the gym which I wish we could've tried but we're on our way to brunch. If I lived here that would be heaven and so convenient to wrap my workout with a protein shake onsite.

Each trainer is really focused on making sure you get the most from your workout by correcting your form and keeping you motivated during class. They're also always happy to provide you with alternative exercises if you have an injury or simply aren't coordinated enough to do something. I've also noticed that they all really try to remember your face and name- which holds you accountable when you skip a day or two! If you're the kind of person who needs a lot of positive reinforcement, take a class from Aurora, Bobby, or Nick- they'll be your biggest cheerleaders throughout class! If you're looking to improve your form and performance I highly recommend taking a class from Dean on Tues/Weds/Thurs evening- he's not shy about telling you what you could be doing differently to achieve maximum results. Last but definitely not least if you love trainers who are bubbly and energized- Kalyn is your girl! She always makes you feel welcome and keeps you energized. So, SO glad to have found this location of TruHit!

Unfortunately, they had to get rid of the basketball court back in April this year after it became a liability with some guys in there getting in fights. They have a wide selection of equipment for the price you pay. While some of the equipment is a little older than other locations, this is the main location I come to because it is the closest EOS to where I live. They recently added some more modern equipment, which is pretty cool. Another reason I enjoy EOS is its friendly staff. Whenever they are not busy, I enjoy having friendly conversations with them about life and other things, and they always ask me what day it is at the gym. No matter the day, I take every day in the gym seriously, but I also make sure to have fun with it. EOS Fitness is an excellent choice for a gym with great equipment at a reasonable price.
