He apologized for all the inconvenience and gave some of the reasoning as to why the delay had happened, all of which was fair. He addressed more of my concerns in my original review. From what I understood, the carriers are third-party, so they can't really control delays. He understood my frustration about the refund being only about $24 and asked how much would I think is fair. I said $200. He said that's completely fair and ended up zelling me the money right after the phone call. Obviously the move itself was a bit frustrating, but this I think more than made up for it and it was super validating feeling like he understood where I was coming from. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the conversation and the resolution.

I booked them for 4 hours, but they arrived late, cutting into the time I had paid for. Once the U-Haul was loaded and we got to my new place, they refused to do a second trip, claiming their service was only for one trip--something they never disclosed beforehand. I even offered to pay extra for the second trip, but they told me they had another job lined up. This made no sense since I had reserved them for a 4-hour block. When I called the company, they assured me they would send replacement movers, but no one ever showed up. In the end, I got 2 hours of service for the 4 hours I paid for, leaving me scrambling to finish the move on my own. I've moved many times and hired plenty of movers, but I've never encountered this level of unprofessionalism. Save yourself the trouble--look elsewhere. Update: After posting my honest review about 1 Pack 2 Professionals LLC, the company has been extremely defensive, repeatedly accusing me of lying rather than taking accountability. Instead of addressing the clear lack of communication about the "one trip only" policy (which was never disclosed), they've doubled down, claiming I should have known. They also implied that releasing the payment code meant I was satisfied--which is ridiculous, as I wasn't about to argue with two men about staying longer. Their communication after the fact has been focused more on protecting their reputation than resolving the issue. They've even suggested I should have canceled or adjusted my booking mid-move, leaving me stranded. This update only reaffirms my original review--poor communication, incomplete service, and unprofessional follow-up. I hope this helps others avoid the same experience.

They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

It wasn't intentional, but the amount of damage we saw was much more than what I would have been okay with. The furniture and location was difficult however given that everything made it to where they needed to be, I'm sure it could have been done much more carefully. But then after putting in our claim on damages with ample proof of damages, and also our honest review, my wife received a call from one of the movers asking us to take down the poor review because they would get in trouble with the owners. Now I'm wondering goes on behind the scenes because the good reviews seems much more shady now. How many other reviews got asked to be taken down? They got the move done and did it relatively quick given the difficulty. The price was rather high given the quality of work completed. And given how quick they were to request us to take a poor review down to me deserves an even poorer review. Honestly, if they had taken accountability right away to the damages I would have felt better about a simple 3 star review. I can't in good conscience recommend Zip Moving and Storage.
