Greatest fast food ever, lowkey expensive but I would spend every dollar of mine here

I figured I'd try again. The special is just an ok deal. $20 fir chicken strips and fries and a dessert is ridiculous. No drink included. Strips are getting smaller. Shrinkflation. These strips must have gold dust on them or something. I'm completely over it and moving on. Refund please !! read more

The staff were friendly and service was quick. The chicken was...really, really bland. I ordered both spicy and original. They were basically the same. The coating/skin was ok. It was crispy and not overly oily and I did not get that old oil taste. Unfortunately there was no discernable seasoning of any kind. I ordered a combination of dark and white meat. The dark meat was fine but the white meat was mostly dry. It was a disappointing experience. I'd spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. read more

It was very underwhelming, the chicken was so bland with no flavor not even a pinch of salt, i got honey and hot sauce which saved the 12$ i spent, the mac was pretty alright it was bland as well but it had a good tiny flavor to it. It did need a little salt and it would've been the best mac ive tasted, the service was very good they were all very nice read more

Ezell's Famous Chicken - I got the 3 piece Lunch Special Three tenders - Southern Near Me - Kent, Washington

Ezell's is the best! Their pieces are meatier and tastier than others that I've had. The menu is a good value.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming--they even know me by name, which makes the experience feel personal. The eight-piece chicken is consistently excellent, flavorful, and well prepared. read more

I live in Hawai'i and had come into the Seattle area to host a birthday party for my 93 year old Mom. I had placed an order for Mom's party with the catering department, who passed on the order to the Kent location, where I planned to pick up the food. I got a voice mail message from Joe, the store manager, who suggested I give him a call back to clarify a few items on the order. I am so glad I did! We went over the order and he made several changes that actually got us more of the side dishes and amazing rolls for less money! He took extra time and went over the full order with me to give me the most value and options. Shortly afterward I found out there was going to be a bunch of road closures and my Mom's party was in Puyallup (during the fair and all the road closures!) and I was up in Kirkland. I called my sisters and asked if they could pick up the food for the party, and they suggested I move the order to the Tacoma location, because it would be easier for them to get to. I called Joe and explained what we needed, and he took care of everything. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had enough food, it was easy and convenient for us to pick up, and we got the most value for the money. I wish I had taken a few pictures of just the food to show how much came with our order. Everyone enjoyed all the food and there was even a few leftovers for dinner the next day! Mahalo, Joe! You really helped us out and made the party fun, memorable, and as easy as could be. read more

I haven't been here in years. I was going to watch the Super Bowl and wanted some tasty chicken legs to eat with the game. I ordered ten pieces and was charged $30.00 plus tax. i thought the total was high but did not say anything. I ate the majority of them during the game and the food tasted alright but nothing great. You could get the same quality at a Safeway Deli for a lot less but you would have to cook with the microwave beforehand. The service was great and prompt but I was expecting more from take out chicken legs. read more

Good chicken, always a classic. The service is pretty quick service. Overall had great fried chicken

Haven't eaten at an Ezell's in forever. I usually get gizzards from gas stations or truck stops, but I think this is the closest place that has them. 15$ for GIZZARDS? I'm sorry that's crazy. They're gizzards... I'm not even ordering the good parts of the chicken.... The staff were nice. I do wish there were chairs to sit on while you wait. I'm 34 weeks pregnant & standing is no let n get my strong suit. read more

I Love getting spicy tenders and rolls when I'm in mood for chicken very good tenders

Great chicken and prices as usual. The one indoor dining table is shut down so its pretty much to go only atm tho and had to eat it in the car. We came in the afternoon so spicy was sold out. The supervisor was friendly but cashier seemed like he didnt want to be there and was like what do you want when i mentioned he gave me a bag of chicken with no napkins. read more

My husband saw this place on Triple D so when we saw that there was one in Kent, we had to try it out. We ordered an eight piece meal with a jumbo mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, large seasoned fries and rolls. The price wasn't bad and it smelled so good. When we got home we made our plates. The Mac & Cheese wasn't good, it was super dry and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes had no flavor. My family used the gravy on their potatoes and that helped. Everything else tasted really good. read more

First time trying ezells today, some of the best food I've ever had. My mind is blown.

Service was fast for my To-Go order! Typical fast food atmosphere. Now to the disappointing bit. The dinner roll was stone cold and sweet. The Potato Salad was mediocre at best. Seemed to have a sweet note. Worst Baked Beans I've ever had. Cloyingly sweet. Threw that out. The Chicken was lukewarm warm and flavorless. I've always heard great things about this place , but am sure this will be my one and only time eating Ezell's food. read more

Yesterday was the very first time here and it will be my last! The kids that work at this location are a bunch of idiots. I asked the kid how many chicken tenders do you get when ordering half a pound of chicken tenders. His reply is half a pound. When I got home I weighed the pathetic four pieces he gave me and it only weighed 4 ounce. Far cry from half a pound. Management needs to get this location in better standing and train all employees a lot better. When I called and spoke to the kid that made my order all he did was mumbled on the phone. He really did t care!!! Chicken was extremely bland with no taste or flavor. Your better off going to Pete's BBQ in Kent read more

Sold me old brown coleslaw it was terrible and the chicken was over cooked and dry !! I love ezells but this place needs help! read more

Ezell's Famous Chicken - Coleslaw - Southern Near Me - Kent, Washington

This is the worst chicken restaurant ever. The chicken taste like cardboard and no taste. They also charge 60 cents for hot sauce. Since this restaurant suxx and try to nickle and dime you charging way too much for 3 pieces 2 sides for $16. I urge everyone to boycott this restaurant. They are telling us they sell no taste chicken with a high price so why go here. People stay away from this restaurant. This is a legit review. read more

Chicken was over cooked and very dry. I think they gave me chicken that had been under the heat lamp to long. The Mac and cheese tasted like flour and the mashed potatoes were lumpy. Felt like a waste of $50 This happened the last couple of times we ate here to. This place was so good a few years ago. read more

I've eaten here countless times and I forget to take pictures of the food before i start eating. Get spicy fried chicken , Mac n cheese, and Cajun fries almost every time. The beans, Buffalo tenders and peach cobbler are also amazing. Can't go wrong here. read more

Solid 2 stars for 'Could've been better'. Customer service was great and the crew were getting food out fast and hot. The fried chicken was aggressively average. Very crispy skin and juicy chicken meat on the 8 piece dark meat meal. Unfortunately, I ordered the spicy chicken and aside from being slightly reddish it was crispy, but bland. Batter for spicy chicken could use a LOT more spice and maybe preseason the chicken before frying to allow the spice to penetrate deeper into the meat. Rolls were nice and warm and obviously cooked in a muffin tin as they look like cupcakes of bread. Potato salad was average. Cole slaw was pretty good. read more

Great service. Delicious food. Chicken always on point, could be a little more spicy but I understand they are cooking for different palettes. Clean atmosphere read more

My chicken was BURNT. I ordered 2 of the 4 piece mixed and got 2 darks and when I say dark I mean burnt. How can you serve people that crap and not feel bad about it read more

Everything we had was delicious . Of course the chicken, but also all of the sides that we tried. The mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome, the coleslaw, tasty and crisp, and I love the fluffy buns that they serve with each order read more

I ordered takeout and it was supposed to be ready at 4:16. I got there at 4:16 and I was told that they forgot to put the chicken in or something to that affect so it was going to take 15 to 20 minutes. Almost 30 minutes later I'm finally out of the door with my food. Then all I got was a half-hearted "sorry" as I was walking out. read more

Ezell's is great especially when you're a local. Personally I think the chicken and biscuits are exceptional especially with the honey mustard they provide. But without the honey mustard the chicken is pretty dry. The biscuits are fine without the condiments. I really enjoy the regular chicken tenders but I think service is decent, they're just working. Other than that it's great if you're looking for a decent chicken spot. read more

Dry....way to crispy when it cuts up my gums.....no flavor just spice! pros was they were really nice and fast but I would have waited for juicy strips instead of ones that clearly were hanging out under the heat lamp too long! Heaven Sent in Renton is where the real Ezell creator now is and you can def tell the difference when it comes to taste! Try them out instead of here..cus issa huge annoying i'm dtolNo for me Ezells smh! read more

Ezell's Famous Chicken - Southern Near Me - Kent, Washington

I always get annoyed when KFC or Popeyes chicken sets have tiny pieces of chicken underneath there regular-sized ones... not here! Every time I get Ezell's, each piece of chicken is huge. I hate white meat and even their breast pieces are juicy and flavorful. We usually get the spicy chicken which isn't spicy at all, but noticeably for flavorful. Get the combo and make sure the mac-n-cheese is one of your sides... you won't regret it. Only complaint is they're a bit slow because of the huge amount of online orders. Every time I arrive to pick up my order, it's never packed and ready. On the bright side, the chicken we get is always hot and fresh! read more

We ordered Ezelles the day of for our rehearsal dinner. I called earlier that day to see when we should order and the groom and groomsmen ended up getting going there and getting the order. I didn't try much but we ordered a 24 piece meal with additional tenders and they came out great! The customer service I wasn't sure bc I didn't handle that but the food was great! The skin on alll the chicken was crispy and not super oily. The gizzards and lived were amazing!!! I will definitely be ordering more and the sides of coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and beans were good as well. I just wish they were bigger. read more

Ezell's Famous Chicken - Employee Appreciation Lunch! - Southern Near Me - Kent, Washington

Zero star for customer service. 1. They have forgotten several meals, gave us the wrong order multiple times that I been to this location. They used to show the orders and double check that everything is there but they don't do that anymore. So I've had to go back several times and then wait half an hour for the correct order to be made... 2. Sometimes they do not take card and will only take cash. So I had to go to the gas station to withdraw money. When I came back 5 min later, they had canceled my order. Keep in mind, I ordered to go an hour and a half ago. Well then, they had to remake the order and now have waited for 2 hours for the food... So frustrating. They didn't accommodate anything or show any concern at all. NEVER COMING BACK TO THE KENT LOCATION. read more

Customer service doesn't even deserve a star. Bald man who took our order seemed annoyed from the beginning. I'm like okay, maybe he had a bad day. It happens. Funny thing is when a couple who's looks more like him walks in, completely different attitude. *Note taken We ordered 1lb tenders and 1lb gizzards and they give us one dipping sauce. My husband goes up to ask for another one and they say it's gonna cost us. Okay, no problem. It is what it is. The same couple the bald man was so ecstatic to service is sitting right next to us and orders a extra piece of chicken, he doesn't charge them. Tells them he's thankful for their business. Now I'm pissed. It's just flat out wrong. I don't even have the words to describe how upset I am. I will NEVER EVER spend a single penny here ever again. I've been eating at Ezell's for more than 15yrs. They just lost a customer. read more

It was mostly ok...except the raw gizzards. I am sure it was because they were busy. I am also quite sure it's because nobody gave a cr@p about quality. Raw inside and out. Waste of time and money. Just disgusting read more
