My skylight had been installed incorrectly by another company, which was contributing to the moisture issue. Since skylight repairs can be a relatively small job, I found that not many reputable companies were interested in doing this type of work. I was very happy to find Sunline Energy. Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

Here's verbatim my last communication with Semper Solaris Customer Service. You may judge for yourselves: "K**** *******y, I'm at the end of my tolerance for Semper Solaris' / Semper Homes' lack of competence in customer service and support. Trust me when I tell you that I don't expect much and your business has repeatedly managed to underwhelm me and put the burden on me as a customer. The issue I've been dealing with is approaching 1-year in duration without resolution. I appreciate your team looking at the photos I provided, but when your electrician was dispatched to my residence they showed up without any warning or courtesy call. I raced home from work to let him in to see the electrical panel and he spent maybe 2 minutes on-site. His diagnosis was that perhaps the breaker needed to be changed and that would fix the problem of the circuit breaker tripping every time we used the exhaust fan above the stove. The exhaust fan worked properly from 2019 until Semper installed the solar and charger. He never returned to switch out the breaker and never called with an update on the status of my issue. Additionally, no one from Semper ever called to follow up other than an uninformed representative who asked if she could close out the "open ticket". I explained that I was still waiting for assistance and not to close it. No one ever reached out to me after this. I left at least two voicemail messages with customer service and still no one checked in with me. Today I called again and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes only to speak with an answering service which couldn't even relay my message to you because I couldn't provide a "Case Number" which I was never provided by you nor anyone else at Semper. This is your last opportunity to finally resolve this issue. I'll give you 24 hours to respond. I never write negative reviews and I'm very understanding but I'm very motivated to write a lengthy 0 star review about my horrendous experience dealing with your firm. Minas was the head installer it seemed (all people are internal employees with Aloha and work is NOT contracted out, that was a big seller for us), and two other guys Rigo and Matt. Finally called number for 'new business' to get a REAL employee. Her answer - We charged you because WE think you now owe us $1000 dollars for the projects done 9 months ago even though I have invoice that says we were paid up at completion of the project. So without contacting us, WITHOUT our consent, charged our credit card they had on record. Don't give these folks you credit card number if you don't want unauthorized charges to your card LONG after you paid off you project.
