I've used them before with ok results but this last move was horrible. They left probably 1/3 of our belongings at the old place and simply didnt move it, didnt ask where they should put furniture in the new place, and disassembled things improperly. As an example, they unscrewed my propane tank but didnt close it, so now I have an empty tank. Like seriously why would you do that? What makes me really angry though is that they tried to pretend like they were giving me a "deal" so they could get a good tip. I always tip well, even with horrible service. I'm a sucker like that but dont pretend like you did me a favor bro. read more

After having to bond one of the movers out of jail so he could finish the job, I can wholeheartedly say this was a moving experience fit for a reality TV show titled "The things that can go wrong during a move by an unethical, dishonest moving company". I get their color is "Pepto Bismol Pink". After this nightmare, all I could see was RED. Nutty Crazy Synopsis 1.) The movers came two hours later than my window. There was no update, apology or explanation. 2.) The truck could not go faster than 25-30mph so it made for a LONG multi stop move. The movers pointed out the heater did not work in the cab. Never mind it was a 10 degree weather day. Guess the money was spent on the pink paint job. 3.) The movers did not have enough shrink wrap, blankets and bubble wrap for a 3 bedroom move. I was told they used it all on the earlier job. 4.) For some reason, the movers could not fit the items in their truck (3 bedroom, 1500 sq ft could not fit in a 25 foot truck). They asked to use my truck to store some items. Pathetic. 5.) The police came by during the move because of a report they received regarding a theft that occurred during the move. I was charged by the hour so I paid for time involving the search of the truck and questioning of the movers. (note*.... The stolen items were recovered.) 6.) The company wanted to let one of the movers who had a unrelated issue go to jail and asked if I would mind getting delivery the following day = sleep on the floor with no blankets because it's too late to fix this problem. WTH?!!! How's that for customer service? 7.) I was asked to sign a BLANK Release of Liability on day 2 (yes, I allowed them to finish the next day) stating all of the above mentioned issues were resolved and I could not write a review or file a complaint. ....it goes without saying that didn't fly even after a guy called and repeated the words "pro bono" in every sentence. Once he figured out I was not given or offered anything (a refund, discount, apology, etc) he said "oh okay, I misunderstood" and hung up. Never mind that I was also charged for the move time on the second day when it was their fault. 8.) My light colored sofa set was adorned with fresh dirt and mud. Compliments of no shrink wrap for one's upholstered items. Told the lead guy, he recommended I use Magic Eraser or Soap. When this did not work, I called and was told they were unaware of any damage so they would not pay for the damage. ... Guess the lead guy forgot :-( Important to note: The one hour travel time charge is for the company. The movers are not paid for their travel time. They are paid once the move begins. read more

I used them for a move to New Jersey, and everything went great. So a year later I moved back to Chicago and used them again. They were TERRIBLE. The drivers arrived the day after they were supposed to. They parked the truck directly on front of my front door, packed it up, then said before they could leave I had to sign a new invoice that was nearly double my estimate. When I questioned it i was told, things just add up. Of course it also included a $250 "long distance" move fee for them "having to park so far from the apartment". I took photos of their truck less than 5 feet from my door. And they told me they could waive the fee if I gave them $200 cash as a "tip". I refused and chose to deal with their offices instead. Despite having a witness with me and photos of the move the company said they didn't believe me and that my new charges were what I would have to pay to get my belongings. We used this company twice for two local moves in chicago without an issue. When we used them for a long distance move to Michigan, we had a terrible experience. Aside from terrible customer service, poor communication and lazy contracted movers, they created $1,500 worth of damage and offered us $147. What a joke. Stay away! read more

Terrible company that others should avoid. Their services may come at a cheaper rate, but there's a good reason why their prices are low. Your furniture will be torn/scratched/soiled and your boxes will be damaged. You will not be reimbursed for damages. They tell you that price estimates are based per item and sq footage and that they will readjust the actual price based on inventory the day of pickup. They will try to up sell you on the phone since they say there will be an extra premium on day if pickup if the actual inventory exceeds the estimate. Even if you email them or call them about changes they will tell you to wait until day of pickup. In reality on the day of pickup they will not adjust anything. Their customer service representatives consistently lie, never respond by email or are difficult to reach by phone (Maryam, Brian). They will give you a 72hr window for pickup and 7-10 day window for drop off. When you call them to ask them about pickup or delivery date they never know the answer. When the drivers show up it's a hit or miss. We had a disgruntled driver (Miles) show up who made it very apparent he didn't care about anything. He told us that it wasn't his job to do any quote readjustments or inventory. Him and his partner struggled moving the bed boxspring and were jamming it down the staircase and nearly knocked off the ceiling light fixtures before I had to intervene and pull the bulbs and glass off of the fixtures. I'm sure this is when they ripped the boxspring fabric. They then stood there bickering with each other because one jammed and cut the other one's hand. Then they had the guts to ask for a tip. Customer service was not available at that time and there was nobody to call. Furniture came damaged. Boxes came looking manhandled. read more

I have used this company for the past 5 years and all previous moves were great. They were on time and on estimate, which all were local moves. My last move that was on 9/9/16, a long distance move to Florida was HORRIBLE!!!! They picked up my furniture on 9/9/16 and was given an estimate for $1700, after they were finished my estimate went to $2200. I contacted Maryam my moving specialist and to no surprise she didn't answer. Left numerous messages and no call back. I then spoke with Steve the Office manager and he advised me that since one item was different than my listing they had the right to recalculate it. On Monday 9/11/16 I arrived in Florida and contacted Ez Movers back to check the status of my order as I was told by Maryam that it would by my first available delivery date of 9/14/16. To no surprise another LIE! This is the date Steve informed me was the date they would begin to drive to Florida. As of Friday 9/16/16 my furniture is still in IL and I'm in Florida paying for a hotel to be able to not sleep in the floor. I have asked to talk with the owner Eric and was informed that he doesn't interact with clients. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE. They will lie to you and provide you misleading information to get you to use their services, then once they have your goods they will take their sweet time to deliver it to you. I don't even know where to start with this company. Let's just say that the office will give you the quote you want to hear over the phone using Zillow to see what's in your house, but then the foreman will show up, say the office people are idiots and proceed to tell you that your move is going to take twice as long as they expected. I think it's a game between the foreman and the office about them talking trash about each other, but at the end of the day the only thing that gets done is the customer is overcharged. A few toppers for my move: - the foreman literally "shushed" my wife, raising his hand and closing his fingers like a mouth, in my own house nonetheless. I would have punched the man if I didn't need to get my stuff out - the foreman actually threatened to leave my house without my stuff, knowing that we only had 24 hours to move, all because he didn't want to discuss why we were being overcharged - when the moving crew realized during my move-in that they were running out of time, they just started throwing my boxes in my garage instead of asking me if I wanted them to finish putting my belongings where they actually belonged - right before they left the moving crew left all the extra tape and boxes in my garage. When I asked them to take it, they said "we don't have a dumpster at the office" - I received a phone call at 9:30am saying that the movers were on their way to my house. When they arrived at 10:45am the foreman asked me to sign. I noticed on the bill that he was charging me starting at 9am (apparently that's a thing, I paid the office $247 in travel charges but I also had to pay for the movers to travel to my home). When I told the foreman that he left at 9:30am, he told me he was charging me starting at 9am because his car wouldn't start. How is that my problem?!?!?!?!? DO NO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY I had a long distance move schedule for pick up on 7/28... was not told prior to reservation that there is a 10 day spread for delivery... didn't find this out until signing paperwork. at this point it was too late to find someone else. the foreman DID NOT provide me with a "delivery request form" which is required to make delivery. I had no idea this was necessary...here it is 8/8 and I still don't have anything and have no updates on when my things will be delivered. Brian and Steven are superior ingrates and did nothing to help the situation. I emailed Brian on 8/6 and NEVER received a response. He blatantly hung up in my face and refused to give me a delivery date. They also charge you obscene amounts for tape and packaging. pack EVERYTHING you have BEFORE they come to pick up anything. I would NEVER recommend this company. you're better off renting a uhaul and getting friends to help you move. at least that way you won't be stuck half way across the country without your entire apartment. So this, Ehmil B. is supposed to represent the company. What a joke.. It goes to show everyone how they do business. Crooks and thieves. Deny everything to the grave. Most of the complaints on here are basically about them lying and being deceitful to customers about what they actually charge when moving date arrives. There is no one to talk to, and if anyone responds to your complaint, it's through the mail and you are basically being called a liar and nothing is resolved. I made a complaint at the Better Business Bureau, but they don't do anything. I would like to start out by saying I rarely write reviews. I do not believe in bad mouthing anyone unless their actions are grossly negligent, disgusting, and disrespectful to the customer. I hired EZ because their pricing was very competitive and they were able to accommodate my move date and time. On the morning of they showed up to our first of three locations. The transaction started off friendly, and I was happy. About an hour into the move one of the movers grabbed a 5x7 rug which was rolled and wrapped in a plastic bag through it over his shoulder and on the way out the door uncaringly hit a multi-tier shelving unit. This shelving unit housed antiques and sculptures. Several items fell crashing to the floor, two of which were antique Chinese plates that my grandmother bought in the 60's at the Miami trade show. These plates were over 100 years old and now shattered. The plates were displayed on two thick glass blocks, and as they hit the floor, the plates and stands damaged the floors. My mother was in tears about the plates and the negligence of the movers. The movers and I documented the incident, and we had no choice but to continue. The driver came to me about 45 min later saying they were done, and their dispatch is requiring full payment before leaving the first location.(keep in mind we had two other stops) In business people/business get paid AFTER the job is done not before or during. You wouldn't pay a plumber before he finished the work would you? Anyways I refused and it took an hour to get a manager on the phone, we spoke for all of 60 seconds (if that). "if you don't pay they are not leaving" the manager said, I said; "Ok tell them to unload the truck and please leave" They were afraid because of the damaged caused by their movers I wouldn't pay. The move was on a Sunday, and their office wasn't open, so we had to wait until Monday to file a report. I called once a day for three days and never got a call back (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). Finally, a gentleman answered on Wednesday, and boy was he rude!!! The gentleman was screaming and yelling, telling me I was a piece of this and that... I didn't give them a chance reach out etc.. I finally submitted the report and called back once a week to check the progress from EZ end. Each week I would hear; "we are still working on it and will have an answer next week." After week three we explained there was no reason this should take so long, and we felt they were dodging us and not going to live up to their responsibility. I explained our attorney would be handling things going forward and I am sorry it came to this... OH BOY did the owner, not like this response; I called back to ask for their attorney info, and he answered. In that thick Israeli(I am israeli and my sister is in the IDF) accent started screaming and calling me names. This was three weeks ago and now they have decided to tell my attorney we should sue them instead of making good and fixing the problem. Is this someone you really want to do business with? I have pictures and if there was a way for me to post them for you to see the horrible damage they created I would! I urge you think twice before getting into bed with EZ Movers. read more

I chose EZ Movers to help me move from Chicago to NYC in June/July. I did tons of research ahead of time and did not like what I was reading, but given the short notice of my move they were the only long distance company that had availability for me (should have been a warning). And to preface, I did this opposite move from NYC to Chicago last year with another company and it was seamless. My quote was reasonable: ~$2,400 for a long distance move. They picked up my things on June 28. The men who did the job were nice and efficient, took about 2.5 hours and had no issues. They gave me a delivery window of July 5-18. You must be available every day during this window because they only give you 24 hours notice for delivery. When I hadn't heard anything by July 14, I called to check in. They told me that my things would not be leaving Illinois until July 17, which was one day before my delivery window ended and 20 days after the pickup of my goods (what was it doing for all that time?!). Given that I was leaving for an international vacation on the 19th, this was extremely inconvenient and frustrating because you would think that the 14 day delivery window would be enough. Nope. EZ movers called me on July 20th letting me know that my goods would be dropped off the next day, Saturday the 21st. My building does not allow move ins on the weekends, so I let them know that it did not work for me and asked about my options. They said I had 2 options 1) they pick a storage unit to drop the goods and I figure out a way to get them to my final location or 2) pay over $1,000 to schedule a redelivery. In other words: because of THEIR late delivery OUTSIDE of my already long delivery window, I am responsible for paying more money to receive my things. Because of their poor planning and failure to operate on time, I was having to figure out what to do with my stuff while out of the country on vacation. Long story short, I ended up spending close to $1,000 more on a storage unit and another set of movers to transport the goods to my apartment almost a full month after they picked them up in Chicago. The contract you sign when you book basically ties your hands and takes away all of your rights to a fair move. The customer service (not sure they have it)/whoever answers their phones had no sympathy, provided no explanation, and was overall extremely unhelpful. The only person who was kind was Steven, the man I spoke to about redelivery, and it may have had to do with the fact that I burst into tears when he told me I would have to spend $1,000 more than planned. When I inquired about a discount to my remaining balance for the late delivery, they said I get $15 a day for every day late. So $45 for the $950 I spent on the additional help because of their late delivery. Laughable. All of the negative reviews are correct. EZ movers will get your stuff where it needs to be, but it will be a HELLISH process and you will spend more than you were quoted no doubt. I spent far too many hours dealing/stressing about my belongings when moving itself is already stressful enough. If you can be available every day for 30 days and you have no building restrictions (don't know anyone who can do this) then maybe you won't have a problem. I did this as a last resort and I'm guessing that's what happened to most others too. Avoid avoid avoid. Truly terrible. read more

Let me start off by warning everyone to stay away from BRIAN ROSS. He's not a terrible guy, but he's clearly peddling a service that he knows is terrible. Shame on you Brian, shame on you. We explained exactly the size of the house to Brian, he confirmed, some movers were sent over to my house and they informed me upon arrival that they could only move one floor. After debating them and some Russian at the customer service department they ended up abruptly leaving my house. What is most frustrating is that they took my deposit, moved nothing and refused refund of the deposit. I'm sitting in my in-laws house in Georgia waiting & waiting & waiting for the movers to actually make their way down to our new home in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There has only been one good thing about this company thus far, and that is they'll get to your home you are moving from really fast. However once they get there, they'll ask you to pay money upfront and it will be so confusing the way they try to make it sound. I called the corporate office as soon as the driver requested money upfront and they were good enough to tell the driver we were already paid in full. Then we got started signing the contract. The driver put "NO" (charge) for our "long carry charge" because we were only 27' between truck and front door. I signed the contract with that being stated. I then left because I needed to drop by my work for a couple hours. When I came back they had finished packing and left the paperwork for me on the counter. I looked it over and found that the driver wrote over the "NO" (carbon copy contract) at the "long carry charge" line and put "$282.75." I was outraged that they would do that to a contract. Had I known I would've taken a photo of the contract! As if that wasn't enough, we got picked up on December 17, 2013 & they say they have up to 10 business days to deliver your items. Well...they trick you. They follow the paper work but they are NOT clear explaining it at all. What they actually mean is they'll deliver your items 10 business day after the "Earliest Delivery Date" which for us was December 28th. They "guarantee" they will get as close to the "earliest move-in date" as possible. We planned to be in our new home by the 29th. But now we are still at our parents place and it's the 28th today and they haven't even loaded our items back on their truck for Fort Lauderdale! They said it could be until January 13th! Thats 18 days we waited on this company. That's way too long for any four person family. The trucks are pretty...don't let that fool you. I gave then two stars, one for being on time at our former home and another for trying to be clever and deceptive. Don't use this company. Spend hard earned money and go with a little bit more expensive company that can probably be trusted or move it all yourself. I hope this helps. read more

The office gave one quote, then the movers said there was no way they could do it for that money or in that amount of time. My initial contact with Brian was positive. He was helpful and friendly. The initial load up in Chicago went well, too. That's about all that went well. The move was 2 days late at my new home. I tried to contact the long distance move department about it, and after three attempts to reach them, all of which were ignored, I stopped even trying. They were running behind because of a previous pick-up and bullied me into giving them a big tip to keep packing my things instead of going home early. It started off bad when they showed up 2.5 hours late (and every time I called them, they say they're 15 minutes away). And, it didn't get any better thereafter. From the moment the move began, the movers (who honestly looked and spoke like they just came out of cook county) kept bringing up their desire to receive a "tip". Damaged property, being told they won't open the truck until they get full payment (which is against their policy), and zero response from their "boss" after sending photos of damaged property. Very dishonest company. PS I would like to point out that this company contract I have does NOT say I have to hook up my washer and dryer while movers are moving furniture into my house and forcing me to do laundry while they are here to find out everything was broke on my washer and dryer. This was one of the worst experiences of my 51 years on this earth! If you have things you don't care about being moved this mover might be an option . If you have anything of value stay away from them. They broke so many things and denied the claim. We paid almost $12,000 to move from Chicago to Long Beach, California. They charged us $1100 to repack things to their standards and caused so much damage. EZ Movers used so much shrink wrap and pulled it so tight that it snapped the legs off of furniture. I can go on and on, but it is just too much to go into. The final straw us we have very expensive mattresses and they are now damaged. The mattress warranty person was out and the mattresses were folded over and wrapped in half and it has damaged the sleep system. I watched everything come off the truck and it was packed so poorly in the truck there was no way things wouldn't be damaged as they tugged and pulled on everything to get it out. It was a nightmare watching all of our fine furniture being damaged. We will be filing a small courts suit against them when we return to Chicago on business next month. I spoke to the truck driver about damages and he kept saying don't worry we have insurance. The claim said nothing was noted. What a joke! On both ends of the move the movers said oh this is such a pleasure moving you. We never see such beautiful furniture. Now I know why. EZ Movers was a complete nightmare. At almost $12,000. This is the worst company ever the bad taste is still in my mouth after 20 years later I had a lot of boxes and one in particular I had a vase that was given to me by a dear friend they broke it I was alone I'm a female and after I gave them my $100 deposit they came in the door asking me for money they would not move until I gave them more money until I was completely broke after they kept dropping my boxes and breaking my items they got all the stuff loaded onto the truck they put several of my boxes in the front and they were going through my boxes and as I'm screaming give me my items they push me off the moving truck on the driver's side where you step up as I'm screaming and crying they didn't care they push me off the truck while it was moving it is almost 20 years later and I still have this bitter taste in my mouth I'm sorry that I took so long to tell you my experience but here it is save yourself some money and time and with any company do not label your boxes with exactly what's in there because they will go through it and steal from you I never recovered the top of my lava lamp I only have the bottom and the vase that was given to me by a dear friend I'll never see it again this is the worst company I ever encountered so save yourself some money and time do not book them. So for an update of our move.... we had to rent a UHual and drive across town to meet the movers because they maxed out their mileage for the day. Look like someone took a baseball bat to our belongings! 2 TVs trashed, kitchen table legs were ripped off the table (also table top beyond repair). read more

I will be honest I was a very nervous using these guys based on some of the Yelp reviews (BTW this is my first Yelp review). They did an amazing job moving my family from Chicago to Florida this past weekend. Not only were they on time for both the pickup and drop off but the movers were very courteous. The move couldn't have gone any smoother. Always remember people like to complain on Yelp and never compliment when they have a good experience. Just my two cents. read more

Absolutely awful. I have moved 11 times, never had so much as a broken Christmas ornament, but EZ Movers made up for all of that in one small 2 bedroom apartment move. Despite multiple reassurances the estimate was accurate, and after I insisted they walk the apartment and inspect every cabinet, the movers arrived 90 minutes late today and try to scam me into charges well over double the estimate. I have heard of this from many friends, but never had it happen to me until today. So of course now I am at square one trying to find a reputable company at the last minute. And silver tongued Brian is refusing to refund the deposit despite blatantly lying through the process. And now multiple colleagues tell me they have heard the same thing of this company. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Absolutely the WORST COMPANY and EXPERIENCE I've EVER HAD!! They've lost their BBB accreditation last year and Lost registration with Department of Transportation! They inflated my price by $600 once they had possession of my property. They lied about "free stairs." Got scammed with $150 stair fee once furniture arrived. They lied saying my long distance move from Chicago to Dallas would take 3-4 days..took 16 days! Aaron is a lying prick who is completely unprofessional and gives a million excuses. Many of my items were broken, including my tv. I actually have a few things dropped off that aren't even mine..so there is no telling what's missing of mine that I haven't discovered yet. I called to file a claim regarding my damaged and was basically told, "We're closing soon...so I can't help you!" I'm telling you NEVER book with this company!!! On numerous occasions, I was advised (by colleagues, friends, etc.) moving can be/is a nightmare. Over the last 8-13 years, I've moved across continents (Asia/Middle East, Oceania & US); it was relatively EZ. So back in May 2018, I was confident when we scheduled EZ Movers, Inc. for PA to IL move - they had a 4+ rating on Google Reviews. But given my experiences, (un)officially, this company should be renamed to UN-EZ. To start with, I was given inaccurate info (so they claim) by a rep (she's no longer with the company). Early June, I requested an extra stop (to deliver 2 items in Downtown Chicago & pick up 2 items for Rockford, IL). Their warehouse is in Skokie, IL. We were quoted ~$40 for this service. However, 2 days prior to delivery, the Office Manager (Steven David) raised the cost to $250 - for delivery but no pick up in Chicago. His justification was labor rates. Prior to our conversation with him, we contacted their offices (about 4-6 times on different dates) to confirm the $40 charge. Their reps gave verbal assurances & confirmed everything was included in our total price (we emailed for confirmation too but got no replies). I was charged for the aforesaid stop/service. A service they didn't provide but (for lack of customer service) they can't calculate the credit (nice trick to increase the top/bottom line). I concluded poor Math skills (reflects the 30th rank among 35 OECD nations for the same category). I was hoping for minimal inconvenience during pick up (June-end)/delivery but alas, they had to change the loading date window. Steven informed us about the change 4-5 days prior to our initial loading window. We had booked our flights to Chicago but UN-EZ doesn't give a damn regarding flight change fees. Before delivery, every morning we got automated emails (from ex-employee email accounts) notifying us about the delivery process. Yet, we had to follow up with the contact center for driver info, time-frame, etc. Regarding delivery, I didn't receive few items - half couch/sofa & a bookshelf. This was sorted a few days later. However, a part of the large executive desk went missing. In PA, the loaders carried the desk as 1 unit but we received disassembled pieces; the IL workers couldn't even reassemble it. Consequently, I filed a claim for the desk & was offered 2 options - $35 reimbursement or local installer for assembly purposes. As I wanted to conclude my disastrous relationship with this company, I requested the final invoice (still awaiting it). So, in brief, if you're seeking a helluva experience, go with (UN)EZ Movers, Inc. As I write this Review, ratings have dropped to 3.9 - I wonder how, I wonder why (they did tell me about the blue sky). You can look at Yelp for additional negative reviews. I'm extremely frustrated by this experience. There are good guys (Brian & Kevin) but then every organization has a wanker viz. Steven. He has few standard phrases - "I'm just trying to do my job", "my boss told me to let you know that you'll be charged $___ for ____". His knowledge of customer service/satisfaction is appalling. The loaders are great too but overall, they run a shit show. I intend to leave similar reviews on Yelp/other sites. Least I can do. I used E-Z Movers 4 previous times, referred them out to clients of mine, then when its time for me to use them to move from my rental to my new house, oh my god, the worst experience I ever had with them. They packed everything so quickly and didn't mark all the boxes, then moving to my new house they broker the screen door, broke my brand new couch, put ALL THE UNMARKED BOXES IN THE BASEMENT which I am still looking for things, in no order what so ever. THEY ALSO DID NOT DELIVER EVERYTHING LIKE MY COAT TREE.They charged me for 2 hours that their truck was broken down, well they gave me 1 hour off and wanted to be tipped which stupid me did, 40 each for 4 guys. The next day went to the old house to clean to find that THEY DID NOT EVEN FINISH MOVING ME. Literally the worst moving company I ever used for a long distance move from Chicago. They were to pack my goods and move them to California. While moving out, they somehow broke off the garbage disposal under the sink. When I asked the supervisor, they denied doing it and would not take responsibility. They showed up late to deliver, hit me with a $600 "long-carry charge" that had to be paid in cash before unloading. The unloading was unbelievably slow. They originally estimated 4 hours with 3 movers. They only showed up with 2 movers and it took them 9 hours. They did over $8,000 in damage, including not wrapping my mattress in anything and then folding it like a taco, so it was destroyed. My moving insurance (which Ez movers recommended) denied the claim because it wasn't properly boxed. They stopped unloading to the bedroom that was on the second floor because they were running so slow, so they just left a ton of bedroom items on the first floor so that I had to bring it up myself. The whole point of hiring movers is that they will move items into your new place! The office tried to get me to settle my $8,000 of damage issues for $25. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS Company! I repeat DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS Company! Save yourself time money and expectations! I didn't want to book with them but the urgency of having a new baby and needing my things moved to the east coast led me to book with them due to cost. Price I was quoted eventually turn into being more than what I was expected to pay! I went back and forth with negotiations and finally settled on a price and when it was time for my things to be delivered they were nine days late and on top of that there was a fee of $300.00 dollars for shuttle which they did not make me aware of when booking nor is it on the receipt So that was an additional cost to what was already owed at the time of delivery which total cost was 2100.00 and I was quoted at 1883.00. I am still waiting for my reimbursement for the 9 days late. Also I am calling DTO on them as advised by my lawyer,because they need to be out of business period!!!!! Very very unprofessional company! I had to call the delivery driver which is a third party for updates on when my things would be delivered. We are using them currently for a long distance move from Madison WI to Houston TX. We were told we should see our things in about 6-7 days (this turns out to be business days) and that the last possible day would be 10 days. Today is the 10th business day (14th normal), our account manager stopped returning our phone calls, and emails two days ago. Yesterday when we called and explained we have not heard anything an employee sent us via email a complaint form. Still waiting on our things to arrive. We might see or things in two or three days. Making this over two full weeks we have been waiting for delivery of our things and counting. We will keep a daily post until our things arrive.
