Need to fix your glasses? GO HERE!!! I can't remember the name of the very kind woman who works at the front desk, but she and Anibal were awesome. I've worn glasses nearly my whole life. Because of that I know when I like a pair of glasses I need to keep them as long as I can. My current glasses are no longer made and a leg fell off! Tragedy!!! I took it multiple places that said it was irreparable and to just buy new glasses but I like the ones I have :/ I called the place where u got my glasses and they told el about eyewear solutions. Initially, Anibal told me he didn't think he could fix it but he said "listen. I'm going to try my best. If I don't fix it, I won't charge you anything. If I do, then it'll be $70". A few days later he called me super happy and proud of himself that he was able to repair them and they were ready! I don't have the picture anymore, but initially when the leg fell off you could see the issue was that the metal part didn't come out. I visited Eyewear Solutions early one Friday afternoon with a very delicate pair of reading glasses. One of the stems had caught in the carrying case and broken off completely. I was told by my optometrist that it appeared to be irreparable but if anyone might be able to fix them it would be Anibal at Eyewear Solutions. I loved those frames and was told they were no longer available. Anibal told me that it probably could not be repaired but that he would try, no charge if he was unable to do the job. I left the glasses and two hours later I received a phone call. Anibal is a magician of sorts. I could not even make out the juncture where the pieces had been reattached. I felt like the $55 charge was unbelievable given that it would have cost several hundred dollars to purchase similar frames. A little context. I only wear solid gold vintage frames made before 1930, and these take a beating. I also have a very tricky ultra thin lens with Varilux coating and anti reflection. I used to take my eyeglasses to a jeweler a for repair. Then the (obsessive optometrist I go to) referred me to Eyewear Solutions and for the last two years Anibal has done a great job making them not only fit right again, but making them look like new...which can be difficult when your frames are almost a century old. His prices are very reasonable and his customer care is very good. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs a repair. read more

Watch out if you're repairing glasses with anti-reflex coat! My friend and I took 3 eyeglasses to have the legs tightened, because the legs of the glasses had widened a bit. The technician (Anibal) fixed the glasses but that night we realized that the anti-reflective coating of the lenses were cracked on all 3 glasses in the same spot: close to the bridge where they had made the adjustment. Apparently when the frames were heated to soften them so that they could be adjusted, the heat damaged the lenses. When we took the glasses back to see if there was something they could do to fix them, the technician suggested that the lenses could have been damaged already by a cleaning product we used or a manufacturing defect, and that he had fixed over 1,000 glasses and knew what he was doing. We bought these glasses from three different manufacturers, from three different brands, in three different locations, of which two were less than one year ago. I took the glasses to the optometrist that had made my lenses and the first question they asked was whether I had applied any heat to the lenses, which is exactly what the technician had done to fix the frames. She said that the kind of damage on the lenses could only be done with heat. Fortunately my lenses were still under warranty and the optometrist was kind enough to replace them at no cost, but I have no doubt that the repair made by Eyewear Solutions caused the damage. Although the technician offered to pay for the repair, his attitude suggesting that 2 people caused the same type damage to 3 different pairs of glasses is not acceptable in my view. The fact that he did not acknowledge that he was responsible for the cracks makes me suggest that you not take glasses to be repaired at Eyewear Solutions if they have the anti-reflective coating on the lenses. read more

Eyewear Solutions is by far the best! It is very affordable and Anibal does an EXCELLENT job. My father broke his pair of Cartier silver plated glasses. Everyone said it was unfixable but Anibal fixed it. It was brand new again. A few weeks later I brought a pair of Fendi glasses that I was also told had no repair. The sides hinges had completely snapped. Once again Anibal fixed it. I told him my flight back home was very soon, and he did my job first thing in the morning and they were ready by 11 am the next day. Same for my father. Takes 24-48 max hours and TOTALLY worth it.
