So I emailed them on 3/28/26 to find out what the status was and did not receive a response. So today 3/31/26 I called and they told me the frames I ordered were actually not available and they would cancel my order. When I asked why they never notified me about any of this, the man on the phone just said "because we didn't get to it." They may have a great walk-in mall shop (I have no idea), but AVOID ONLINE ORDERS with Next Level Optical - they are amateurs. I gave them two stars (instead of one) because at least they answered the phone, were polite, and finally refunded my money.

3 stars I needed new glasses while visiting our son in…read moreFlorida January of 2024, this place got good reviews so went there, they were very nice HOWEVER I paid $500+ for the glasses which is fine it is what it is but I live in Indiana, the lenses I paid for I cannot seem to clean no matter what product or soap and water I use so I went to my regular optometrist for new lenses (December 2024) they said they would need to send them in, I cannot go without my glasses so they said if I called next Level they could give me the shape number of my lenses that they should have them and if not their lab should and that would prevent the need to send them off, I called was informed he did not keep that information, he didn't send lenses to a lab he did it himself but did not keep any of that information on file, I had him speak to my optometrist in case I was asking the question incorrectly, she hung up astonished, said he told her he didn't keep that kind of information in my file, he saw to many patients to do that?! my advice, find somewhere else

The eye exam with the doctor was fine and everything was running smoothly until we started looking at the frames and asked about coverage one more time. The lady who was helping us said that they didn't accept the insurance so we had no option but leave with no glasses. We ended up calling our insurance and they confirmed they should have accepted our plan. We ended up going to a different location where the experience was so much better. They also made a big deal about sending the exam results to the other location. They should train their employees on doing more research before denying coverage.

The exam I had was extremely thorough! Raquel is passionate about eye care. I learned a lot! Raquel does a lot of the "prep" work and testing and then uploads the information into a portal. Then she sets up a Zoom with an eye doctor from 20/20 Now to review the results. Everything is very high tech and as stated before, very thorough. You get the opinion of, and information from, two eye care professionals. I was very happy with the level of service here and I will definitely come back for future eye exams. Unfortunately, my earlier comment about the cost of the glasses and contacts still stands. It's just too pricey to order from the store. Again, I hate to be "that" person but I can't justify paying $50 more per box of contacts and double the cost for the lenses.

The Doctor explained that it seemed to have slightly improved rather than worsening in any way and agreed that I didn't seem to have any other issues at the moment, which is what my primary care physician felt as well last January. Though I originally hoped to see Dr. Lowinger, himself, as he has provided excellent care to me for approximately 20 years now, I couldn't have asked for better care. She explained the problem with plastic that had the kind of stains that mine had were not salvageable . I also showed her my sunglasses that were made by another company with a prescription that felt wrong. My "stained" pair had a prescription that was correct so she analyzed the sunglasses and said that they truly were a wrong prescription. So I said to put the good prescription into the sunglasses, and make new lenses for the stained pair. She told me there was a BOGO sale on of some kind which she deducted from the regular price. Glasses came in within 5 days and they are great ! I had a bad experience with America's Best and have now found my regular eyeglass store.
