Amazing place. I walked in with broken Ray-Bans, and they fixed them great in 15 minutes! Highly recommend.

Cannot recommend Grant's practice enough! From the front desk receptionist, to Evelyn, who was incredibly helpful in explaining insurance and helping me choose glasses that fit my face, to Grant's transparency and professionalism throughout the entire exam, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and cannot recommend Grant's practice highly enough. Not to mention, my exam was at 1:30 PM and I had my new glasses by 5:30 PM the very same day. I have truly never had an experience like this before! read more

This was my first visit here and I can tell you for sure that I will be coming back. Dr. Goble is without question one of the most excellent optometrist I have ever been to the visit was pleasant fast, and he and his kind staff are sure to keep people returning! read more

For the last several years I have been getting my glasses at Warby Parker. They have good prices and a decent selection but wanted to support local businesses and get a more unique pair of frames. Enter Eyes In The Park .... I am very happy that I chose this spot as the service and selection was outstanding. To start, Dr. Grant let me in early (before official opening) to let me have a look at frames. He was very patient, made great recommendations and helped me pick a style that I was very happy with. Dr. Grant's assistant walked me through all the lens options, provided more suggestions and was super friendly to make the ordering process easy. My glasses were ready in about a week with no fuss or muss in getting the final fitting done and paying the bills. Please choose local and definitely go see Dr. Grant! read more

Dr. Goble is the best of the best - when I moved to Chicago and was looking for an eye doctor, the choices were overwhelming. I've been going to Eyes in the Park for a few years now and I have had nothing but positive experiences during my yearly visits and ordering contacts/glasses. I am always super clear on what my insurance covers and doesn't, and the entire experience is transparent, efficient, and pleasant. I highly recommend! read more

The entire staff is incredibly professional, communicative, and helpful! Appointments are thorough and all questions and any concerns are always thoughtfully addressed! read more

Lily and Dr. Grant are great! 10/10 will always be a patient. Vibes are always immaculate. Love the Garrett Leight frames. Got a year supply of the new AO Max contacts. Ditch your mediocre eye doc and come to Eyes in the Park. read more

Everything about the place is amazing!! The staff is way too nice and couldn't ask for better service! If you need anything eye related go here, They go above and beyond! They fixed my glasses and now they are perfect! read more

I felt completely safe during the pandemic at Eyes in the Park. The space is clean and spaced out so I didn't need to get close to anyone which I appreciated. Dr. Goble was super knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything going on medically with my eyes in a way that I could understand. I opted into getting new glasses and the staff assisted me with trying on frames safely. My glasses were even ready day-of! I am thankful I chose this business to use my vision benefits for the year, it was a great experience. read more

Great experience here! Everyone was very friendly and prompt! Was called back right on time for my appointment by the doctor, so no waiting around at all. Everything here was high tech and it made it such a nice experience. No more poof test where I jump and hit my forehead on the bar. They have a new device that makes it so much easier and no poof. Plus, they had a new machine for high tech pictures of the eye (costs extra, but worth it to me!), meaning no more dialated eyes and weird sunglasses for the drive home. So much good information in the picture that Dr. Goble went over with me in depth at an understandable level. I also found out I have a freckle on my eye from that picture, so definitely thought it was a cool experience to get to look at my own eyes like that! I also needed to order new contacts, and they broke down pricing for me and checked out possible rebates for the brand I use, so super helpful all around. A great spot for all your eye needs! read more

I chose Eyes in the park because of the goldendoodle that is the lead picture in the Yelp page. This place is fantastic. Easy to make an appointment. Dr. Goble was extremely thorough in explaining what he was doing and what was going on with my eyes. There was a large selection of frames. Dr. Goble has an optical shop in house and turns the glasses around QUICK! Like, I had my appointment yesterday and have my glasses in hand today. Will definitely be using for the foreseeable future! read more

This is an excellent practice! Dr. Goble is friendly, engaging and has an effective way of describing the condition of your eyes. Instead of the old way of dilating your eyes to see inside, he has a machine that takes digital pictures. This allows him to discuss any findings with you and point them out on a monitor. Probably more important for busy people is that there is not the waiting and discomfort of dilating your eyes and then not being able to see clearly until the dilation goes away hours later. What a time saver! The purchase of new glasses was a breeze with a wide selection of frames from which to choose. I'm definitely going back when it's time for my annual visit! read more

Just wanted to update my review and say that 2 years later, I am still impressed with their service and the extra mile they go for patients. From seeing my boyfriend after hours for an eye infection, to giving me a spare contact to hold me over until my appointment, they always go the extra mile and I will never go anywhere else! read more

Comprehensive exam and great selection of frames. Dr Goble is knowledgeable and patient. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment!

I was looking for a same day appointment and I found this place on Google. I called and they scheduled an appointment within an hour of calling. I arrived for my eye exam and was greeted by the friendly receptionist at the front. Dr.Goble was very professional and friendly during the eye exam. He answered any questions that I had. They were never pushy in selling me anything. I decided to see if they could match a price at another shop I go to for lenses and they beat it. I went in the next day without an appointment, I gave them my frames and they had them ready in an hour. I was very impressed. Even though I didn't have another appointment, Dr.Goble did make time to ensure that I was satisfied with my lenses. World class service. Did not buy my frames here but they did have a decent selection for someone who is looking for frames. I will definitely be a returning customer. Sarkis M. read more

Dr. Goble and the staff are so welcoming and personable. It was my first time seeing an optometrist in a few years and he explained everything clearly and thoroughly. It was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back for my routine check ups! read more

I needed a new eye doctor and found Eyes in the Park through my insurance. Dr Goble was really great. His office has the latest technology, which I thought was really cool. What I really appreciated is when I was comparing frames, is that Dr Goble came out to give his feedback in addition to the optician and front desk assistant. This made me feel like I had a balanced opinion that really cared that I found the best pair for me. I love supporting local businesses, and it's super cool that he does the lenses himself. They were ready the next day. What great service! read more

Making an appointment online was so easy and there was plenty of availability to be seen in just a few days. From the moment I entered the door the staff was friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Grant Goble was informative, patient and kind the entire time. I'll definitely be coming back for all of my eye care needs. Couldn't recommend Eyes in the Park more after my first visit! read more

I visited as a new patient for a second opinion on my gas permeable lens prescription. My nearsighted vision was so diminished I could barely see or read and my writing was full of typos because I couldn't focus on anything up close. I had eye strain, headaches, and was often dizzy. I was worried my vision was rapidly declining. Dr. Goble took my concerns seriously, did some research (educated me as well), and updated my prescription. Success! Finally I feel like my vision is normal again, and I'm not constantly adjusting my lifestyle to accommodate what I now know was years of inadequate vision care. Thank you, Dr. Goble! read more

Dr. Goble sets the bar very high with the standard of care that he provides. I've been going here for 2 years and don't foresee switching eye doctors ever. His front desk staff is also polite and focused on ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Thank you Dr. Goble and team! read more

Giving a shout out to this optometry clinic. We're vacationing here from out of town and this morning one of the nose pads broke off from my glasses. I tried wearing them without it and it just hurt too much. Eyes in the park was just on the corner of where we were staying so I stopped by to see if they could help me. Their shop opens at 10am today but when they saw me waiting outside they let me in few min before 10. The staff that helped me out was very friendly. He took my glasses and said he may have something that'll will work. Within a couple min, he returned my glasses back fixed. They didn't charge me anything for the part/repair. Their kindness and customer service saved me from being miserable for the rest of my vacation. If I was from here, I'd definitely be a return customer. Thank you so much! read more

Very pleasant experience at this office with an atmosphere of cute boutique. Doctor is very friendly, takes his time to explain your eye conditions and also optional exams to you without being pushy. Receptionist is also nice to work with. Coming here since the first visit. read more

Will not be going back there.. Dr. Goble started off nice, after opening his own practice (first met him at "For Eyes" on Southport.. but unfortunately the way he treated us yesterday played a huge role in our decision ton look for another optometrist. We made an appointment to inquire about the new prescription drops., which he immediately told me and my husband that he will not prescribe, they are "not practical" , and we should research another doctor who can prescribe them. He did not explain why or how this prescription could impact us... He was really annoyed and very rudely told us : "if I knew you only came in for this.. I would not have wasted 1 hour of appointments and kept that for people who really needed the appointment" ..I could not believe my ears... Really.. "Wasted an appointment time?? " ..what doctor tells his patient this?? We have been his patients for more than 3 years.. Well, "Not very practical" I guess to go back to a rude doctor.. they are so many others hopefully less rude !! read more

They always are great with fixing small problems with my glasses immediately. Can't recommend enough!

Quick, easy and really appreciated the customer service from all staff members!

Dr. Goble was great! I was due for my annual checkup and needed to order new contacts. I didn't have a regular optometrist in Chicago, so I looked around for a bit that was in-network for my vision insurance. Eyes in The Park was right around the corner, so I figured I would give it a shot. I went on their website and selected a time and date. A few hours later, I was sent a questionnaire via email, which was easy enough to fill out. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was great. Dr. Goble saw me right away. In the exam he explained everything he was doing, and why he was doing them. Very professional, and greatly appreciated. He answered all of my questions - very knowledgeable. He was able to get me set up with new contacts, and was able to get everything ordered. I have an astigmatism, and he did his best to fit the lens that is the correct shape. He let me know the return policy just in case the lenses didn't fit perfectly. Overall, great experience. Professional, timely, courteous, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. read more

This was my first ever optometrist appointment and I was very happy with the experience provided by Dr. Goble. He very clearly communicated what he was doing and provided a thorough walkthrough of the results of any tests to help me understand the health of my eyesight. The office is also taking appropriate safety measures in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend Eyes in the Park for anyone looking for a professional and knowledgable optometrist! read more

We just moved to the city and needed to find an optometrist. We could not be happier with the care received by Dr. Goble and his team. Hands down the best optometrist I've seen. Haven't had any issues with my eye sight after getting lasik about 6 years ago. Was referred here by my primary physician. Dr Goble was great, much more helpful than anyone I'd seen in the past. Talked to me about my vision, offered me options and time to figure out what works best for me. Will be my new spot for sure, would recommend checking him out. Unbelievable how good this place is. Definitely the best eye doctor experience I've ever had, by far. First of all I had a really long day, definitely did not look forward to going to the eye doctor. But my experience here changed my mood completely. Receptionists were very friendly. I only caught the name of one (Lilly), both were really nice. I had zero wait time which is unheard of for me. I'm used to waiting an hour or two before being seen. Dr. Grant is amazing. The technology here made this a completely painless experience. They don't blow air into your eyes or dilate your pupils. He's so great at explaining everything. You can tell he is a really great doctor because of how he explains things, and also how he treats patients. He's very kind and understanding. The office is also beautiful. I can't say enough positive things about this place so I'll stop here, but I would highly recommend Dr. Grant and his staff to anyone. read more

Eyes In The Park is my new go-to for trendy glasses! Their selection of eye wear is incredible, and there are frames to fit any style. Dr. Goble was super friendly when I came in and even helped me select a pair of glasses that were stylish and within my price range. I've recommended Eyes In The Park to all my friends, and they've all had great experiences. If you're in the market for an exam, new frames, or just in the neighborhood, definitely check out Eyes In The Park and you won't be disappointed! read more

Dr Megan Allen is wonderful! I highly recommend her. First of all, the clinic's overall customer service was great, and it's clear that they are taking COVID precautions very seriously. I took my two daughters (ages 3 and 5) for their very first eye exam and was so pleased to not have to wait at all for our appointments and we were the only people inside other than Dr Allen and the receptionist. Everything had been thoroughly sanitized before we came in. We all wore masks and I felt very safe. Dr Allen was truly so great with my girls. They were both very nervous before we came in, but she made them feel very calm, was silly and explained clearly what she was doing when examining them. But she was also very thorough- making sure she got to all parts of the exam even when the youngest was starting feeling a little shy. She helped me understand more about their eyes and what to look out for in the years ahead. And also parking on Lincoln was super easy! Thanks Eyes in the Park! read more

They fixed my glasses for free! It was just a missing pad, but I'd never been into the store before, so I thought it was pretty nice.
