I'm very satisfied with Eyemart Express. They are very care! I was there after I purchased a glasses and then I got a little scratch on it because of the frame wasn't fitting me. And, one day I was around Grove city looking for a Panera bread shop, so suddenly, it's the Eyemart Express I saw near. Then , I stopped by there and, the sale advisor, listened to me carefully and , she said that I have a full warranty and she's going to order new ones for me. I was glad. Finally, they made it and they shipped after they told me that the glasses were ready to be picked. But, I was busy in Chicago when I received the message. And I tried to reach out them and asked them to ship it for at my address in Columbus. After 24 hours, they made it. Eyemart Express is wonderful. Received a phone call from an Eyemart rep that I was eliglible for a new pair of glasses. Went in the next day but because the optomitrist had left the location the rep couldn't find and fill my Rx. The Rx was provided 6 months earlier. I was told to come back in 6 months so my insurance would cover the frame cost. Ask if they could repair the worn-flaws to my current pairs, that I bought there, . . . "You bought those in 2023 and the warranty is expired." Thanks for selling me glasses and frames that last 2 years. Asked of they could arrange the repair of my Oakley sunglasses I bought there? . . . "We don't deal with Oakleys anymore so 'No'". When I pointed to the sign in the store that identified "Oakleys" as a product provider the rep said, "That's not for Oakley sunglasses, sorry." Terrible products; worse service. If I can give a zero I would I was seeing if they can do my glasses I had brought off line never ever had a problem before I get a rep name Stephaine who didn't greet me at all I gave her my perception for my glasses she was like well it looks like you are going to have copays on what you are trying to get so I looked at her and was like you act like you have a attitude!!!! She was like no I just wanted to let you know now mean while the other rep that had customers was telling them the break down of there insurance !!! The women that helped me at the optometry part of the store was fantastic. The woman that helped me pick out my glasses and the financial part of the visit was also fantastic. I can't say the same for the man that was supposed to adjust my glasses. I asked for the left side to be corrected because it seemed off. For some reason he was clearly annoyed and overcorrected them on purpose. I took them off and said that now it was very off. Through laughter although he appeared to be hostile said that's because you said they were off. So now my glasses are a bit crooked which is frustrating for someone with astigmatism. I will be going back to get them readjusted but if the man that I dealt with is there I will ask for someone else because he was so rude and unprofessional. WOW! When I went back for what I thought was my eye exam, the woman (Vantasia (?)) behind the glass partition never greeted me and appeared to be talking to someone on the phone. I sat and waited for her to finish. She walked out of her room and asked if I was hard of hearing (I'm not) and that she had been talking to me. She told me I did not have an appointment - even though I got an email saying my request to see an eye doctor had been received. She rudely told me i must ALSO receive a phone call from their office as confirmation. The terrible service was small compared to encountering one of the rudest people I've ever met. After seeing the add on tv I decided to go and buy a new eyeglasses! Well I use bifocal glasses I gave them my prescriptions né my old glasses . When the new came back was not good , I was having headache and felling nausea . When ask the lady at the store she told me that my old prescription had same different things and the new one didn't not . Oh well I pay the extra $$$$$ to get another one with the same thinks as the old . Nobody explain to me the differences etc between lenses . Well days, weeks pass nobody call me to tell if my glasses was ready . Today after 23 min waiting on the phone the told me that my new glasses are there . I had a pair of glasses I'd gotten at Eyemart Express on Morse Road that broke (one of the arms came off), so I went to the store to look at new frames and ask if the broken pair could be reattached so I could wear them until new glasses were ready. Stephanie waited on me and said "no, we can't fix these" and also "your prescription is almost expired, we can't make new glasses from it". My prescription doesn't expire for another 5 months and Horvath Vision Care in Worthington was very happy to reattach the arm to my glasses and said my prescription was fine to make new glasses from. Without the cost of an unneeded eye exam at Eyemart, I probably didn't pay much more at Horvath and got 1000% more pleasant customer service. read more

I apparently hav a knack for losing my eye glasses! Thankfully, Eyemart Express is just a short drive down Morse Road! I seem to be on the 6 month plan where every 6 months I lose my glasses! We went there last Saturday when the weather was just yucky! I wasn't sure if Eyemart Express would be busy but I need to be able to see to drive safely! I was amazed that the store was empty! I was able to walk in, hand them my prescription card and had my 2 pair of glasses in about 40 minutes and we were on our way! I chose the 2 pair for $38.9? something and with taxes paid a little over $41.00! My glasses fit well. The staff were all friendly and helpful and gave me time to shop around. No pressure! For future reference I heard one of the clerks say that a good time to come in is around 2:00 pm. There is also an optometrist there but you need to make an appointment with the doctor to be seen. read more

The prices and customer service that I received from KATELYNN C. at the Eyemart Express location at 2418 Taylor Park Drive in Reynoldsburg, Ohio were so good that they were literally beyond belief. Although I am usually a hypercritical, demanding, and some might even say a "difficult customer, I was totally blown away by the great prices and customer service that I recently received. Briefly, this establishment made my son's high-powered eyeglass lenses in 20 minutes, offered numerous discounted prices and specials, and helped me decide what to buy in a no-pressure environment. They readily gave me the huge advertised discount on the lenses, but ultimately I decided to re-use my son's old eyeglass frame and forego the advertised buy-one-frame, get-one-free. In sum, I have never been treated so well in any other establishment -- at least not one where I was paying them such a small amount of money! Having read other reviews of Eyemart Express on Yelp, I must emphasize that the very good treatment I received was ONLY at the Reynoldsburg, Ohio location. read more

Michelle Trimble was very professional and knowledgeable, she even called my insurance company to see if me using my insurance for the glasses would effect my use of insurance on the lasik. I wish I had been a media sloth. The hospitality extended was not to be awarded. I came in to get my eye examined BY DR GILL. Upon this and getting my EYE RX I went to the center to give them it to file being past customer and turned in old eyeware to be recycle. It was only me and a white gentlemen in the store and the younger white tech was assisting him. Meanwhile the older white lady tech act as if she didnt want to help me..she directes me to leave the old eyeware on the counter and "holdon to your rx" after i explain I need to get eyeware. I walk around 20 mins and never got approach by neither lady there. The black tech come in, they talk amongst each other while I was still waiting to get help walking around. Another white gentlemen comes in door and he was greeted by older tech and she ask to assist himby the same & ignored me still walking around. As I felt a certain way and decided to go elsewhere the black techn saw me going toward the door and yell out , "Maam can I help you" and I kept walking saying "NO,NOT ANYMORE"! Since dr gill is leaving that location at MORSE RD, I WILL NEVER GO BACK there. I use to love this location but past experiences in last year had me wondering why this manager is here. read more

On Tuesday May 24, 2022 I went to Eyemart Express on Morse Rd. in Columbus Ohio and had progressive lenses placed in my own new Persol eyeglass frames. My prescription requires correction for reading, distance and in between. It cost $180 and took 30 minutes. I do not have vision insurance. The lenses are premade, boxed, and simply cut to fit your frames on site. When I picked up the glasses they asked me to try them and gave me a laminated sheet of print to test my vision through the lenses. I could see at a distance just fine but I couldn't read through them. The bottom of the lenses is completely blurred. They repeatedly cleaned the lenses and made me keep trying them on with no change in the results. So little of the bottom of the lens is devoted to the reading RX that it's impossible to look down through the lenses and read without lifting the whole pair of glasses and holding them up. 2 local opticians have confirmed that the lenses are 5 mm too low. I expressed my dissatisfaction and 4 different employees including the manager repeatedly insisted the lenses were perfect and refused to refund my money, a portion of it, or remake the lenses. The manager advised me to "take it up with corporate." I've worn polycarbonate progressive eyeglass lenses for over 20 years. Never have they been made so poorly. The frame is one of the highest quality you can buy and my prescription is not rare or even uncommon. They are large and square and there is plenty of room for all three distance requirements. The same prescription has been successfully placed in two other frames with no issues whatsoever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. read more

With that be say I look and found the perfect glasses 2 pair which my insurance didn't cover . Nevertheless I love them . I told her I would be back . I called and told her I would be in today to order them. I get there and if course I had to wait . I didn't get the same person , which was find . They go to look for the glasses and can't find them anywhere . The girl said she left them on the counter and someone must have put them back . Ok so we look for them can't find the ones I ordered . Today I walked out with two gorgeous pairs of glasses for less than 200 dollars, including poly-carbonate lenses and a eyeglass and contact lens exam. I've read the other couple of reviews and I can say that the customer service I received today, a busy Saturday both for the ophthalmologist/optometrist and the opticians was over-the-top good. My two pairs of glasses were done in less than an hour, and the eye doc took the time to see me a second time right before he was leaving when there was an issue with a new set of contacts that I encountered. Eyemart Express on Morse Rd is our families "go to" optical shop. They have a good selection of current frame styles as well as OTC readers and sunglasses. They have some accessories like chain eyeglasses holders, CL cases, etc... They are also able to make sports goggles and have some really good looking styles. We've had single vision, bifocals, progressive, and sunglasses made there... Next is sports goggles for our son. The attention to detail we've gotten from this shop has been way above average. If your glasses aren't right they'll remake them for you but I have a complicated prescription and they've been spot on, as have all the others glasses. I used to be an optician and if I was still doing that, Eyemart Express would be the type of shop in which I'd like to work. read more

After seeing some bad reviews for my favorite eyeglass place, I thought I'd jump in. Frames here are VERY reasonable, and there are regular specials. The couple times over many years that I've had an issue with the frames, Eyemart readily honored their one-year warrany and resolved quickly. Lenses are rather expensive, but always so for my prescription, and very reasonable compared to others. The staff is very helpful and very good. Yes, occasionally there is a wait, but I'm impressed with their service and expertise of the opticians. Be sure to ask for lens options, as they don't hard-sell their upgrades. I've never had a better optometrist than Dr. Gill in the connected office. I could write volumes about his expertise and professionalism. Hope this helps. read more

While the customer care team is outstanding the quality of their product is lacking. I have two pairs of glasses. One for everyday use and one for sunglasses. It took 5 returns before they got the adjustment based on the prescription mostly correct. I've had my everyday glasses for 15 months and they are scratched all to hell. I've never used paper towels etc in them - only what I'm supposed to use. The frames keep stretching out so the fall off my face when leaning forward. I am really disappointed with the quality. I've bought prescription glasses at Costco before that puts my current ones to shame. read more

I bought 2 pairs of eyeglasses from the eye mart store in Columbia SC over $300 one for reading and one sunglasses a year later I returned to have new lenses put in the sunglasses I was told that the lenses couldn't be replaced because they couldn't guarantee that the new lenses would fit although my frames are in great condition it's suggested that I purchase a new pair that's frames plus lenses at a cost of at least $200 I contacted the main HQ and they confirmed that so if you're thinking of getting glasses from here you may want to consider my experience read more

I've gotten three pairs of glasses prescribed here. I have had no problems with them, they are super fast and super affordable. I have always bought my frames elsewhere and taken them in to get them prescribed. They charge you an extra ten dollars to bring your own in. I got anti glare, anti scratch polycarbonite lenses for 105 dollars including tax. If you try to do the same at lenscrafters, the BASIC plastic lens with no protection or anti glare STARTS at $190 if you have your own frame. Try it out, I highly recommend them. They moved locations recently. They used to be on sawmill, now they're by Easton. read more

Had a great experience here. I've only had the glasses for two days so can't speak to quality of the frames etc but the ones I chose weren't expensive so I'm guessing the quality will be on par with what I paid. There is a large range of prices for frames but there are many in the $40-$50 range. Lenses and coatings are extra but everything is two pair pricing so I was able to get eyeglasses and sunglasses. My favorite part of the experience here was the customer service. Rachel was extremely helpful and very nice. She helped me pick frames that looked good on my face and explained all my options without trying to up sell me on anything I didn't need. The personnel on the eye doctor staff are great and had no problems. The eyeglass place leaves a lot to be desired, like honesty, and competence. Was told computers are down so I couldn't get a receipt, okay. Because computers were down it would take up to 2 hours instead of the 1. Okay. 3 Hours later still not ready. Okay was told they should be done early tomorrow morning. By noon next day still not ready. Went over 22 hours. I understand equipment failures and such, but if you tell me repeatedly different times and fail to meet them, stop giving me an estimate and tell me you will call when they are done. My process started on August 10th of 2019. I went there because of the TV ads stating how inexpensive the glasses are. I ordered a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses with a new script. One month later my glasses come in and are sooo wrong everything is blurry except if I look straight ahead. They say give it 2 weeks for your eyes to adjust. HA! I have been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old, my eyes weren't going to adjust to that! Took them to my Doctor and he said they were WAY off from the script. Took them back to Eyemart Express and had them re-do them. They finally came back another month later and still were wrong. Went back to my Doc. to have him check again. He called them and told them what was wrong. (They send them to some foreign country to get them done cheap!) I kept telling them I just wanted my money back, they kept saying it was my Doctors fault (NOT). Finally after 2 and a half months I get my money back. They still were not taking the blame. I wanted to purchase my eyeglasses and went to this place. I was roaming around and customer service didn't care while I was waiting in line. I spent almost 15 minutes before somebody turned up to ask what I want. There is one sadist lady who doesn't listen what do you say and kind of depressed person, who is very much adamant and blunt. A year ago I went here and the staff was not so friendly. This year I went back and while the staff was a lot more friendly, they lost my contact order twice. Just recently I went in to (finally) pick them up after two months blind; they said they closed at 3.
