Hunter was exceptionally accommodating and got me from the waiting room to the doctor's office in no time. Dr. McClain is a no frills, straight to the point guy -- incredibly thoughtful, too. The phone staff is awesome, especially Addison. Thank god there is no automated system...this is where Urban Optics goes above and beyond. The contact fitting went super well (once again thanks to Hunter) and I'm loving the dailies Dr. McClain picked out. There are no hidden costs here -- everything is upfront and clear. I never felt as if I was being price gouged. I even got a $3,000 eye drop prescription for $0 (thanks to the doc and my insurance). I'm happy to call this place my favorite optometry practice! Maribel(?) was super nice up front & I'm grateful she cleaned my glasses for me before my appointment (I have a hand tremor). See y'all next year!

However, I'm an idiot and the appointment wasn't for this afternoon. But they didn't care. They take walk ins so they just changed it right there for me. Performed exam, didn't try to shill fancy lenses/frames, and replaced them right into my current frames just as I asked. Even tightened up the screws on my frames too. Took under an hour and a half, start to finish (including writing this review). Staff was so helpful and nice and patient. Talked about the World Cup with the tech giving me the exam (can't remember her name), including about El Tri's big goal against South Korea the other night. If Stanton gives bonuses, get her one of the black El Tri kits with the tricolor on the shoulders. Will for real go to Stanton Optical every time now, great experience.

Do not waste your money on transition lenses from lensCrafters…read more Research shows transitions last 2-5 years on average. I got 15 months on a $700 pair of the top line lenses, they would not stand behind after 12 months. Substandard products and service in my expensive opinion. Not returning for any reason for a second lesson from this group and letting folks know as well so they will not experience the same disappointment as I did should they need service assistance. Once they have your money, they are finished with you. Wishing everyone the best of luck.

They immediately stretched out again and would continue to fall off. They said nothing more can be done to help me make them tighter. Also glasses cost $496 and lenses are already scratched after about 2 months. They claim they are scratch resistant but they are not. They could do nothing more and didn't offer any suggestions. Insurance did pay for most of the glasses and I paid out of pocket some, but for $500 I would expect more. I do not recommend them and will never buy another pair of glasses from them again. Low quality for the price. I'm just as well off buying Dollar Store glasses.

Dr. Lauer who I was told, was here forever and everyone that we dealt with are super friendly and made this visit comfortable. After we got our prescription, we went next door where we met with Amanda (I really hope that's her name lol). She was super friendly, patient, and informational. We're normally used to getting the Oakley brand, but they don't carry the brand. They do have a huge selection of choices and name brands for both men and females. My son and I chose this our glasses and we didn't have to pay for anything because the VSP insurance is awesome. I definitely recommend coming here. This place is located in the Post Oak Mall across the Casa Olé Mexican restaurant. The parking lot is huge so you shouldn't have any problems.

The manager told me I was "very rude," but I had been very patient and friendly with her employee. The only rude person there was the manager. I would never, under any circumstances do business with this place - I've never had good luck with Visionworks customer service (try calling their 1-800 number and see if anyone ever answers) and their manager doesn't belong anywhere near customers.
