Maui Jim gave me a 50% off coupon towards a new pair, but that was frustrating since the glasses only needed a screw. The shop had a pretty good selection of sunglasses and I'll definitely shop here in the future.

When my friend chose sunglasses to buy, I was asked if I wanted to also get one for 40% off. Only then I voiced out that I need help in finding cat eye styles and if she can help me look for options to choose from. The store wasn't even that big and she could've given me at least couple or few to show she's willing to help, but she just answered that it's almost time for her to go home which denotes she wouldn't be that helpful. The shop lacks good customer service and just probably waiting for people to buy. Because we weren't happy with the service, we ended up not buying anything. No, thanks. Not to mention we were there 25-30 minutes before they close.

I tried a Sunglass Hut location first, only to be told the Hut stores do not carry replacement parts for Maui Jim, even though they sell the brand's glasses!! Very disappointing. First Quay location in the 808!!…read more I love the Quay brand! And I love it even more now that they're here on Oahu at Ala Moana Mall. Shopping online for their sunglasses has always been so easy but you won't know the fit until you get it (unless of course you know what style frame you're getting already). Pretty awesome sales (always) online and in-store. Today was a buy one, get one half off. But one of my favorite things about Quay is that they offer multi-focal lenses for your purchase(s). **here's the fine print though... You must have your optical prescription at the time of purchase so they can ORDER your special multi-focal lens for your frames. You don't walk away with it but you can try the frames on before the purchase. The frames with the prescription on it will then be mailed to you. Also, did you know that you can distinguish which frames can take a prescription simply by locating the "Rx"'on the tag. Not all frames will take a prescription. Overall very pleased with the customer service and eyeglasses purchased here.

What stands out is how he approaches routine eye exams. He doesn't rush through them. He takes his time, listens to what's actually bothering you, takes detailed notes, and has genuine conversations about your eyes and your concerns. Compared to other optometrists I've seen, it's night and day. He also takes care of my family. That says something about who I trust with the people I love. The office is clean and in a great location. Only real gripe is the parking situation in the building, but that's on the landlord, not him. I'm willing to put up with it to see someone like this. He deserves to do well and I hope he stays in this location. Looking forward to seeing him next year.
