I had a positive experience going to Eyecon Optometry. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. My eye exam went smoothly. Dr. Watase answered any questions I had in a friendly manner without using jargon. When it was time to pick out my glasses, Jon was helpful and patient. I have a hard time making decisions and feeling like a burden but Jon was able to reassure me that it was okay and he was there to help. Overall, I would recommend coming to Eyecon. They have a 40% off a second pair of glasses now. I got my first pair of prescription sunglasses along with my everyday ones, and I am excited to start wearing them when they are ready (which was reported to be less than 2 weeks since I bought them within the store). read more

I was feeling pretty burned out and frustrated by the time I got to Eyecon. I have happily loved my experience at Eyecon for one main reason. Their optician, Lenny, is incredible at troubleshooting/problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking. He came up with ideas to help me with vision and pain issues that optometrists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, general practitioners, pain specialists, and many other doctors have missed over the past 11 years! In fact he should be teaching everyone else in the industry. When you meet Lenny, you will also see that he is a super nice young man, which goes a long way, as he's your advocate with the insurance company, especially if you have a complicated case. My experiences at 5 other optometry offices recently showed that customer service, quality, and professionalism aren't always a top priority. In all seriousness, Lenny's kindness, brilliant mind, and expertise make this office a very special place. They also have very nice glasses no matter your budget, the staff is helpful, parking is free, the environment is beautiful and modern, and communication is super easy. Me and the wife are new to the area, and it was past time to get a check up on our eyes. After looking around. We found Eyecon. At first look the name made me laugh, but they had solid reviews on all ratings platforms. My experience there was some of the best service I've had in a long time, if ever. From checking in, to being on time, to the wonderful technician, who took my measurements, to the doctor herself, to the gentleman who was extremely patient knowing that picking out frames is a costly and final decision, to the staff being excited that I was back to pick them up, to the guy who helped me fit the new ones. Yea, you heard that right. EVERY step of the way was not only handled professionally, but with kindness and patience. Honestly, I can't say enough. I could try but it would take all day. My daughter was seen by Dr Ho about 2-3 months ago for a consult for the Ortho K lenses. Dr Ho explained everything very detailed to my daughter and me. Ever since she has been wearing the Ortho K lenses and the difference is completely a 180! Her vision has improved so much. She is so happy she doesn't have to wear glasses anymore and she can see clearly after seeing so blurry for the past year! In addition to this, Dr Ho and Alya have made this experience so much better for my family! They are always available whenever we have questions or concerns and they always get back to you! I came here for Ortho K and probably because my last optometrist closed her office. Eyecon is probably the closest location to my area with Ortho K, and I had doubts about the place due to the surrounding area. However, I was greeting with professional and lively staff. The scheduling was easy, and I met with Dr. Cheng. She was very thorough explaining to me upon my condition whether I would be fit for the program. It was one of the few times in my life that I felt patient care was put first rather than the logistics of insurance. In the end, we decided on a decision that would be the most beneficial for me. This is a long overdue review but better late than never. I used to like coming here until i realized how expensive it is. I came in February this year for my annual eye exam and to get a contact lens consultation. After my contact lens exam i was told after that I had to pay $300 because i required specialty contacts due to astigmatism. I didn't even know I had astigmatism until I asked. So i payed and they provided me with a weeks worth of contacts to try out and see how i liked them and if I liked them i could place an order. I have never worn contacts before, and I still didn't plan on wearing them often so the week testers lasted me like a month. I didn't like how these fit so I went back i believe in March or April to get another set of testers. They gave me the regular contact lenses without astigmatism so at that point I questioned why i paid the $300 in my first appointment. Then when they were going through the breakdown of payment they said that because I came in February for contacts, I'd have to pay out of pocket for these contacts. I told them that in my February appointment I never ordered contacts, I was only provided testers. So they told me they would call my insurance and see what they could do and they would get back to me. As of today I never heard back from them. I called them after my appointment in April to ask for an update and they told me they would call me back and never did. So essentially i paid $300 for a contact lens exam....and never got contacts. Overall I do think they're nice and the guy who helped me learn how to put in contacts was super friendly and personable but I don't think i would be coming back. read more

Had an awesome experience at Eyecon Optometry for my eye exam and contact lens fitting. I wasn't seeing as clearly through my glasses anymore and Dr. Ha found that my prescription increased. She answered any questions I had about my eyes and vision and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. Jon helped me with my glasses - he's awesome. Came today because I know my reading prescription has changed. My appointment was at 11:40 and only had about a 5 Min wait. The girl who did the basic eye tests was friendly, then I saw the Dr. She said my prescription had changed. I have a discount vision insurance through my job so that helped a bit. Got a pair of progressives and a pair of reading glasses using my old frames. 550 ugh! Anyway I needed them so had to bite the bullet! Dr pulled three eyelashes out growing on my lower lid, so that was helpful. Staff is friendly and they have a nice selection of named brand frames as well. My name is Nathan and I'm 16 years old. I have been going to Eye-con for the past 2-3 years. Last week I recently started the Ortho-K Myopia Control. My vision has drastically changed for the better. I have gone from a high prescription all the way to no prescription at all. On the first night it's a little difficult/uncomfortable but not a huge problem plus it get better everyday. I'm at the point where I can't even feel the lenses. I love waking up, taking out my contacts and seeing with 20/20 vision. Not having to wear glasses allows me to enjoy swimming, jog, and pretty much all outdoor activities. I would like to thank Dr. Ha and the Eyecon team for working with me. My family & I have been going to Eyecon for the past 7 years. We keep coming back because Dr. Ha, has a team of excellent, knowledgeable doctors and attentive staff. Plus the office is bright, great atmosphere and clean rooms. Honestly what impresses me the most is, they want to make sure they can communicate with their patients, they have staff that speak various languages. I can see why through the years they've had to grow their staff and recently opened up a new location. I am very happy for Dr. Ha and her success. My daughter was recommended to start the gas permeable lens for those who struggle with bad eye sight. My daughter's myopia control treatment is going well so far, it has drastically improve my daughter's vision in just two weeks. This place, and everyone that works in it, are lovely. My 8y old and I were both in need of new glasses- and the ease with which we were able to maneuver back to back appointments for the following day (online, through their website no less) as well as the process of picking out glasses, was painless, if not a little fun. I typically liken picking out a new pair of glasses to shopping for clothes (traumatic), or getting a new cell phone (you wouldn't believe how long I held on to my blackberry) or, I don't know... getting your wisdom teeth pulled. For me, these aren't fun tasks- they're tedious, and purely done out of necessity... and while I'm always happy in the long run, I grimace through the whole process. I mention all this, because someone able to make shopping for a new pair of glasses a less arduous process, must be quite something. As it turns out, that someone, works at EyeCon... Avan was both knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the best qualities of each pair I tried on, was able to find comparable options in different price points; his opinions (which I appreciated) regarding how any particular pair of glasses looked, were spot on, with reasonable explanations as to why he held any particular opinion. He was patient with my child and patient with me, and I never felt rushed, or uneasy. I left feeling less queasy regarding my final decision than I ever have before... which is saying a lot, since I've been wearing glasses since shortly after the Berlin Wall came down. The storefront is beautiful with many options ranging from Tom Ford and Ferragamo, to an über affordable option by EyeCon and all the tried and true brands (Ray-ban, Tiffany, Vogue, Prada) in-between. **Big perk- they have an impressive amount of kids glasses... all different styles (as opposed to most other places which usually carry one of maybe 3 styles that are so hideous, you'd rather let your child be blind...) Okay, kidding. Though the designer should really stop in for an eye exam at EyeCon. The exam rooms are clean and both Dr. Ha and her technician/assistant were knowledgeable and charming. I'm so happy to have found a place that has a boutique feel, with genuinely happy and helpful people working, yet also fulfills some of the perks usually reserved for the big cookie cutter mall conglomerates... I'm sending my husband in on Monday for an exam/glasses... really excited to see what he will come home with! read more
