I came here a few weeks ago and I liked the first experience, however I came here a second time today and I wasn't very pleased with the experience. I must say that the first time, I left satisfied, eyebrows looked nice and clean with almost the same shape, which I prefer very much! The second time today was not what I expected. My eyebrows were left waaayy too thin and not the same shape I had! It was a different lady who threaded my eyebrows this time, but still i expected the same results. Tips: - The people at this place keep changing, so your experience with eyebrows/facial could be a hit or miss depending on who is attending to you. - For facials, ask for Amita Chauhan, a new hire who's especially gifted with facials and massages. Pros: - If you speak Hindi, you can usually ask for something to be done in a specific way and they'll do it the way you want it. - Best rates in town, and extremely convenient location. - EXTREMELY dependable and friendly folks - I have left my jewellery or belongings on multiple occasions and I wouldn't have realized if the owner hadn't called me notifying about them. Cons: - Nowhere near salon levels of hygiene. This place isn't good at maintaining hygiene on-the-go during evening hours. They do a clean up each evening after shutting shop, but if you end up there at ~5-7pm, expect to be turned off. If you are the kind who likes salons to be bright and sparkling, this place is not for you. read more

I went here today for eyebrow threading. Niha did a great job! It was my first visit here and i was completely happy with the results.

Just left this place and it was my first time there NIHA was great! It was so quick and smooth and for $9 with my coupon I had and I tipped. she guided me through it because I told her I was kind of scared lol but overall she did a great fast and easy job definitely coming back here for her again! Went in for upper lip waxing, the lady put wax on very sloppily, got all over my upper lip. There were some small hair left over after waxing, so she started threading, and it cut the corner of my mouth, it started bleeding! She just used a cotton ball and dipped some water or lotion wipes it over! She didn't take a notice or say sorry until I pointed out to her. Now I have a sticky lip with blood on the corner of my mouth. Never going back there again! read more

My unibrow and mustache were tamed into submission thanks to the wonderful work! I work in Mountain View and only had a short amount of time to run, get lunch, get "done up" and get back and they were fast, friendly and I left with BINDI and the offer of henna tattooing for my hands. I'm giving one star for the customer service and professionalism of the employee here. I don't know her name, but I have gotten my eyebrows threaded from her twice. I just went in today, and got to the business around 11:15. The doors to enter the business area were locked, so I called her at 11:22, and she told me she'll be there in ten minutes. Twenty minutes later, the doors were still locked. Someone else walked out so I was able to get in, and saw that the eyebrow threading business was open. I went in and told her "your front doors are still locked, I didn't know you were open, and I was waiting outside," and all I got was an "oh, they're supposed to be automatic." I think the eyebrow threading part is fine, but there is absolutely no customer service skills. If you have your business listed as opening at 11, please be there at 11. The people who come to you might have other things to do in their day and base their schedule around the concept that your business should be opening at a certain time. read more

I don't usually write yelp reviews unless the place makes me cry (good or bad). After going here I cried for legit 2 hours because my eyebrows were gone. I had been a few times and it wasn't terrible. I don't know if they hired new people or something, but when I went yesterday, I had the worst experience of my life. I asked the woman to make my eyebrows a bit thinner and just clean it up generally. She ended up taking off almost all of my entire eyebrow on both sides and they weren't even. I had to go back so that she could even them out. The way she threaded tore my skin and caused bleeding. I guess she didn't speak English or she didn't care what I wanted and just did what she wanted. I was tempted to go get microbladed because my face was bald but I couldn't get an appointment so I bought an army of eyebrow pencils and filler to fix it. My eyebrows are usually thick and dark and now they are literal mathematical lines. If you really want to go here, make sure you block out over an hour so that you can watch your threader pull each hair individually. Better yet, just go somewhere else and don't risk it. read more

I have been doing my eyebrows threading in this salon for few months and every time its nicer than the previous time :) The most important thing I would like to share, that I was suffering from an unbearable headache that didn't go with all pain killers, and the moment I did hair and head massage with coconut oil there, its gone completely like magic from that day.... I've been coming to this place for a while now, instead of the mall. Today Simran did my eyebrows and she's very meticulous. Don't ever go here for eyebrows. The skin underneath my left eyebrow got pinched, cut and bled. Even after giving me a cut I had to fight to get the job finished. Horrible horrible service. I would rather spend 5 dollars more and go elsewhere. To top it up Simran was unapologetic after all this and just said sorry for the heck of it. Horrible unpleasant experience which I just paid for! I got my eyebrows done twice here. I asked her for high arches (my brows have natural high arches anyway) the first time. She did an ok job. Instead of taking the brows from thick to thin from the front to the end, she made them quite thin from the front to the end, with the ends being slightly thinner. Charged me $8 and I gave her a tip. Decided to go there a second time hoping that she'll do even a better job this time and I can become a regular here. I gave her the same directions this time. Normally I place a certain amount of trust in my brow threaders. If you're threading someone's precious brows, then you must know what you're doing. Otherwise don't get in this business - brows are important to ladies. She messed me up real badly this time. My left brow was thin, shaped the same way as the first time, which isn't very good looking. My right brow was thick and lacked good shape. She showed my brows afterward, but honestly, my skin gets so red after threading that I can't judge how my brows look right after threading. I can only tell once the redness goes away. Well, once I got home, I saw that my normally very symmetrical and archy brows were in bad shape. I had two different brows and neither looked good. I can thread my own brows to look 200% better myself!! Charged me $10 this time and I gave her a tip. They were closed the next day, so I couldn't get my brows fixed right away. So when I went back after a couple of days to get my brows fixed, at least she was nice about it as she should be. She proceeded to make my thicker brow thinner. I don't like my brows thin, but what choice did I have? Anyway, after she was done, she showed me my brows, now this one was much thinner than the left brow. I told her that and said that I wanted to stop there, they'll just have to grow again. She urged me to sit back down and she now touched my left brow. Good lord. At the end, I have two very thin brows, right one looks very choppy on top of that. Now I gotta look extremely weird and awful for about two weeks, that's how long my brows take to grow back. Sucks. Bad. So I guess my point is that you should be careful at this place. Inconsistent service, lack of expertise, and various pricing. Really sad, I was hoping to be a regular here. She made it less painful and gave a great shape to my brows. She made sure the of the thickness was what I wanted after removing every line of hair. Overall she did a great job. This place is amazing! Before my eyebrows were uneven. One brow was more arched than the other, one was shorter than the other and no one was able to fix them. Niha completely evened them out and gave me perfect arches! Definitely recommended! read more

I would give them 0 if I could. The service is really bad. You get what you pay for. They bargain and give you discounts to compensate for the bad service. My eyebrows were done horribly! Thinned out and uneven. I even got facial and waxing done. The service is super unhygienic and inconsistent. They lie about products. The ladies here have no knowledge on skincare. Just ask them a few questions and you will know. They are greed personified. I met an ex-employee in Uber once and she told me their attitude is so horrible that she quit. Haven't you wondered why nobody lasts at this place? Every time I go - a new employee!!! I used to go here to get threading done quickly but believe me there are more than 5 salons in Mountain View downtown around this place who have better service and would do better THREADING, waxing and facial for you for just about the same price. I've been a regular here but after last night's experience I don't think I'll be coming back. I arrived around 6:30pm and I was the only customer. The lady took 2-3 mins and she was done with my brows?!? I was pretty surprised at how quick she was. Then she didn't even give me a hand mirror! She goes "OK" and made me get up and walk over to the full sized mirror to evaluate my brows. Wow, really!?! Am I rushing you or something? So I walk up to the counter and she goes "Cash?". I said "Yes, I'm paying in cash." She goes "15". I asked, "$15? I thought your price was $12 for brows?" She said, "No it's now 15." So I paid anyway and even gave her a 20% tip. I walked out and decided to check out the sandwich board and verify the price. Lo and behold the number 12 is written about 3 times on that board. So I walked back inside and told her the signage doesn't reflect their so-called current pricing. She said it was changed that day. Oh really, on a random Thursday, Oct 5th you decide to change your pricing and none of your signage is updated?!?! Why not effective Oct 1st? After a few minutes of going back and forth, she said she was going to make a call. To who I don't know. She said a few words in her language and handed me $3.00 and I walked out. Although, she kept her tip which was now 25% with the corrected price. I didn't care at that point and just waned to leave and get on with my evening. Sadly, I will have look elsewhere for my brows. This location is convenient to where I live but I don't appreciate someone trying to rip me off for a few dollars and try to get away with it. It'll be entertaining to check out the sandwich board later this month and see what the "real" price is. read more
