Yes, I enjoy pampering myself. I don't feel uncomfortable getting manicures and or pedicures. Just like I didn't mind going into Sameera's and getting my eyebrows threaded. 1st time special - $2.99 Not bad for a little bit of pain but a lot of unwanted hair cleaned up so there's no old man bushy brows or the psycho uni-brow. Their menu offers a variety of services which I didn't note prices but the regular price for a threading is $7. For the Brazilian wax. I went to the Harbor location since the other shop was all booked. There was no wait time but the lady who did my wax was not professional , chewing gum the whole time she was doing my wax. It was my first experience doing a Brazilian wax and she did not make it enjoyable at all. Most part it was awkward and unpleasant. read more

My wife went for a Brazilian wax and the women did not know how to do it. She would not stretch the skin, would simply put on the wax and rip it off, without using the proper technique. In addition to being even more painful than usual, she noticed that she was bleeding when she arrived home. She was left with a one inch cut. I do not know if there are more experienced ladies that know how to do this but avoid Mukul for this service. read more

Went in on a Sunday, not busy, they took us right away. The ladies did a good job. My only complaint... **** DO NOT PURCHASE YELP $5 off $10. It is for new customers and must be used in one visit BUT new customer price is $3 so if you buy it you're paying more as a first time customer. I went to Sameera interested in getting a henna tattoo. When I arrived without an appointment they had me check in on their automated computer system and were able to take me right away. I had come with an image of the design I was interested in having done but wanted to design to be slightly different. I told the girl that she could have fun with the design. It took no more than 20 or 30 minutes for the entire design of a lotus flower on the center of my back and I was thrilled with the final image. All of the girls there were so kind and helpful. Some even came over to help with pointers on what designs to use. When I was through and paying only $15 for an extremely elaborate henna tattoo, all of the clients in the shop were blown away with the intricacies and how beautiful it was. I left the henna paste on for approximately 6 hours when they said I really only needed two. When the paste came off, the design was still fairly light but once I awoke the next morning it had darkened significantly and looks incredible. I am extremely pleased with the service, kindness, and attention to detail and positive attitudes of all of the women at Sameera and will definitely be coming back throughout the summer for new designs! read more

I got my eyebrows threaded and a henna tattoo. I would give 5 stars for Sameera who did my henna tattoo it was beautiful. She told us that we can choose a design or she can free style it, which is what she did for me. She's a natural when it comes to doing them it was great. I wasn't impressed by the lady who did my eyebrows (Sameera had another customer she was gonna be awhile). I asked her if she can thin them out and she didn't at all. Also she didn't trim my eyebrows. But they looked nice even though it was exactly what I wanted. Id give her 2 stars. There prices are great which is hard to find. I agree with the comment that say it doesn't look fabulous but its new so I'm sure they be improvements. read more

First time getting my eyebrows done since quarantine started! I just moved to the area and did a walk in, it was about a 15 min wait plus 10 min for my eyebrows. I really love this place, for some reason it was alot less painful than other threading spots. My eyebrows were done by Mukul and I am beyond impressed! My eyebrows are very hard to work with as I have alot of sparse areas from overplucking but she was able to make the appearance of thicker eyebrows! The ladies were very friendly and were following all covid guidelines. They don't use their mouth to thread rather both their hands so they can wear the mask! For the price, this place is definitely excellent! I went in for a eyebrow threading + brazilian. I've gotten threaded at a lot of places before and I think they did a good job. Don't know if it's the person or changes in the way they do business from some of the other reviews...but I felt like my threader was thorough and friendly and the mini 10 second massage with the toner after she was done was a nice touch! This is my second brazilian and I must say, Sameera made it a great experience (esp compared to my first one that I got elsewhere...). It was fast, clean, and not too painful. She is definitely honest and straight to the point and tells you like it is! It's also nice to know that she doesn't double-dip! (the sticks that is...after wax is applied on to you, she tosses them, using a new strip for another area). Definitely would go back! read more

*Do not go for haircut. Ever. Please save yourself the shame. Shame on me for coming to an eyebrow threading full service salon for a haircut.* I walked in around 3:45pm and asked if they took drop ins. They do and had me sign up on their automated computer by the front desk. The lady cutting hair had an apppointment at 4pm for a man - which was supposed to only take 15 minutes. I decided to wait and had just sat down for about 5 minutes when she calls me up to get a cut. I assumed her appointment bailed or was running late. Hair was already clean so she just rinsed and conditioned my hair. We were about 85% done and I needed a LOT of tweaking to make the hair feel right. Again - I don't think I've been very lucky with stylists this weekend. Loved the fact that u can check in with a computerized system. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and told me to have a seat someone would be right with me. About 4 min. Later I was sat down and the threading began, I cannot recall the nice ladies name but she was one of the older ladies. Here are my views: Staff: pretty good, some are more friendly than others but overall nice. Check-in: not a paper sign in but done on a computer. Wait time: Varies depending on who you are seeing. I usually wait 10-20 minutes, one time I waited over an hour, but my girl only works certain days (she's worth the wait). Parking: located in a very busy shopping center so you will find parking, just be patient and careful, as pedestrians seem to aimlessly walk around. Price: reasonable $8 or $9, I can't remember. Sameera is a great esthetician!! The first time I came, via a reference from a friend, I automatically knew I would come back. Her salon is not located near my home or work but I will totally go out of my way to visit her salon. Her assistant Manisha is awesome as well. Really friendly and does a great job! The waxing was definitely painful the first time but now its not as bad! And that is exactly what Sameera had told me! She is really quick and totally experienced and knows what she is doing. I typed in threading in Fullerton and this came up first. I arrived and it's a tiny hole in the wall which is how I like it! I hate places (i.e Ziba) that are fancy but their product SUCKS!! I had a MUCH better turn-out from a lady with a lawn chair and a e-z up tent at the Santa Fe Springs swap meet than a fancy place in the mall. Anyways, Sameera's is excellent! My threader got it right on the first try and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes and paid 4 bucks for eyebrows and upper lip (first-time for brows is free). I also saw Sameera doing her friend's hair and I was AMAZED! The lady in the chair had straight hair but she did the best curls I've ever seen! I'd consider her for hair as well. I found Sameera through a Groupon deal too good to pass up. I would normally not travel to Fullerton from Huntington Beach for a wax and eyebrow threading, but when I read they also offer mani/pedi and henna tattoos, I grabbed a friend and we went to check it out together. The place is small with a skeleton staff and non-remarkable decor, but it's brand new - opened about 4 months ago. But the ladies were super friendly and easy to talk to. I felt so comfortable with them that I forgot it was my first time there. Sameer did my Brazilian wax. She is a true master at this unpleasant procedure, guiding you every step of the way with ways to minimize the discomfort and warnings of especially painful moments. She keeps the waxing room sterile and clean and only dips each spatula in the wax once, so as not to contaminate the wax pot. Jenny did my mani/pedi. She too is wonderful. She did a great job and maintained very comfortable, pleasant conversation throughout. For those to whom it matters, both ladies speak perfect English! I then decided to splurge and get Henna tattoos on my hands, which I found to be much less costly than I had anticipated and looks gorgeous! I didn't get the name of the lady who did my Henna, but she was fast and did both hands, freehand, in about 15 minutes. I will definitely return to Sameera's and hope that as she gets more regular clients, she can decorate the place to create a little more spa-like ambiance and hire a few more people so that when two people come together, they don't have to wait for one to finish to begin their mani/pedi process, which can take a little while if you're just sitting around and waiting for one another. Just came back from here this afternoon! Had a great experience!!! This was my first time coming here and my first time ever getting my eyebrows threaded. I came in because of all the wonderful Yelp reviews and I wasn't let down! I guess if I had to say something it would be that others received their eyebrow service for $3.00 when they were a first time customer and I didn't.. I also didn't know about the Yelp check in deal until I was home. Oh well, I'm grateful and thankful that I am in a position where $8.00 will not break the bank so I don't mind paying full price! I checked in electronically which is great, but a little wierd when there's a line since the location itself isn't that big. Again, not something that I would be too upset over! I signed up to have the next available stylist since I didn't have an appointment and as soon as I sat down, they called me! I had Preethi who was really great and so understanding that this was my first time... Helped to guide me on what to do when she told me to stretch the skin of my eyebrow! HA! I had always gotten my eyebrows waxed and while I feel that threading did hurt more, it was tolerable and much quicker!!! The discomfort was manageable and my eyebrows aren't nearly as swollen as they always are after waxing. I will certainly be back here and will never wax again! This was my first time ever getting my eyebrows or any facial hair threaded Madhu was very rough and has a poor customer service. I see great reviews about her and honestly her work isn't bad, but personality for a salon is not up to part. She's not welcoming or warm. She did my whole face then at the end pour some type of lotion into my eye. She was very apologetic nevertheless my first experience wasn't good. I was painful and she didn't explain much. I won't come back, oh ya I got charged $30 when she originally told me $20 I still gave her a $5 tip I figured she needed the money more than me ‍ just being honest. I went back for a Brazilian bikini wax and I must say, I was really happy with how quick she did it. She was so fast and she was nice to give me a break to breathe and placed my hands in the right positions to lessen the pain. She seemed to really know what she was doing. Service: When you walk in, you'll notice this white monitor that you check in with which is really nice and convenient. I probably waited only like 8-10 minutes but it depends on how many people are before you and if you choose a specific person to thread. I noticed that most of the people chose this one specific lady (sorry forgot her name!) for threading but since it was my first time, I didn't really know who to go to and chose the option of the next available person. Unique: What makes it unique is the $3 deal for newcomers which is what enticed me to check this place out. I mainly come here because they have the 5 for $25 eyebrow deal over the summer plus it's nearby for convenience. However, beware of some of the eyebrow workers!! Some have left them with stray hairs and looking undone! Awful! Some keep talking to their other coworkers while still doing my eyebrows Yet to leave them incomplete. However, some eyebrow workers are really great! They are able to make sure my eyebrows look crisp and clean! It really depends on who you get. My favorites so far is Anju!! read more

I came here because the person I usually go to is out of town so it was my first time here. As a man, I prefer my eyebrows to be thicker and less arched so my face appears more masculine. Going in I asked only for a clean up and not to have too much taken off. But the woman who threaded my eyebrows arched them too much as my eyebrows appear a lot more feminine now. My eyebrows are clean but do not match my facial features. I thought she would have recognized my shape but I guess I should have told her exactly which hairs to thread.
