She was patient and honest with me about the treatment, which made the experience much more pleasant than I expected it to be. I don't have any complaints about this salon. I usually get my eyebrow and lip done for $10. I've also had quite a few appointments with Rhonda. I've been going here to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for about 2 years now. I mainly go for the convenience. I gave this place 3 stars because of the inconsistency. Sometimes my eyebrows will look amazing and other times they aren't even or a little too thin. There is no consistency between the ladies, so I just request the first available. Sometimes I will wake up with little scabs around my eyebrows...which sucks but I haven't had time to shop around for a better place. At least this place is cheap. read more

They say eyes are the window to the soul. Your eyebrows must be the curtains then! I was blessed with the gift of extremely bushy and thick eyebrows that I disasterly (I do believe I just invented a word there) overplucked in high school. Ever since, I've never quite been able to give them a good shape. I've tried stencils and I usually just pencil over my brows everyday to give them some kind of shape. But you don't need to hear my whole brow life story. My roommate and I decided we were desperately in need of some eyebrow maintenance and it just so happened that Groupon Now had a deal for $3 threading at Sameera. Having read reviews of the place earlier in the week, we both excitedly snatched up the deal. We called ahead and it was busy (to be expected) on a Saturday afternoon. But even with about 4 people in front of us it still only took about a half an hour from start to finish (including the wait and actual threading). I'm not sure what the lady's name was that did mine but she did a great job and I definitely plan on going back to her. I think I was a bit of a pain customer cause I wasn't doing a very good job stretching my skin enough for her to thread. But the result was amazing. She advised me not to pluck anymore because I had overplucked. My eyebrows have never looked so good! It was well worth $3 and would definitely be worth the $7.99 it cost. I have gone for waxing a few times. I assumed I would try different people, but I am always unsatisfied with the end results.

I have been to this place once and I will never ever go back again. I was new to the area so looked at the yelp reviews and they seemed ok. I walked in and was told to sign in then idk who did my eyebrows but she was in the first seat. I asked not to have them thinner and she rolled her eyes, took a phone call in the middle of threading and was so rough. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for over 20 years so I know when someone is rough. So aside from that she did make them thinner and didn't just clean them up!!! Which is the first thing I asked not to do. I go to pay and she says 9.00 and takes my money and says you have been here before and I said no. Then she rolled her eyes again and said oh 3.00. I didn't even know new clients were 3.00 so why she had an attitude with me about that I have no clue!!! Anyways I wish I wouldn't have tipped her!!! Her attitude and lack of listening skills lost any further business and I definitely told everyone I knew that mentions that place. Wish I could leave zero stars!!! read more

Sameera is amazing!! I had never had my eyebrows threaded before and I made an appointment thinking there was not much she could do with them because I keep them pretty well groomed myself but, seeing as first time customers are FREE- I had nothing to lose. Let me start by saying, WOW - what the heck was I thinking wasting time trying to keep up with plucking my eyebrows? But Sameera was very professional, clean and talked me thru the whole process. I would highly recommend her for Brazilian wax. I originally saw Sameera's on Groupon, When I was driving down Chapman I happen to see her salon, I needed my eyebrows done so I stopped, I have been going there ever since and refer all of my friends and family here. They do a good job, it's fast and clean! The only bummer is that they do not take appointments for threading, and being that I like to go during my lunch hour I worry about time, but I have never had to wait very long, even when there is a line in front of me. read more

I heard that this place was really busy, but I guess I went in at the perfect time because I got my eyebrows threaded as soon as I walked in. Preeti (I believe that was her name) was the one who did my eyebrows and she was very nice. She smiled a lot and held conversations with me. Plus, she did my eyebrows very nicely! I love them! It's clean inside as well. For first timers, it's $3 for eyebrow threading and $8 after that. In my opinion, it's completely worth it. Other places I've been to charge around the same price. I went in for the first time about a month ago. The best thing about this place is the people, they were so warm and friendly. You walk in, there is a clear price list and a sign in sheet. You get your brows (or whatever) done, you tip the ladies for listening and doing what You want and pay for your service at the sign in desk. That's it. Get on with your day :) read more

Went here today & I had such a good experience! I read all the yelp reviews and didn't want to take my chances with any of the other girls but Sameera, so I requested her. She was fantastic! It was my first Brazilian wax so I didn't know what to expect. She talked me through every step and told me straight up that it would hurt, but surprisingly it didn't hurt much & I was expecting worse after I heard my roommates experience from a couple weeks ago. It's uncomfortable at times, but nothing too unbearable and I didnt experience any bleeding or pain afterwards. Sameera was seriously the best and her yelp reviews don't lie! I really love it here. I've gotten my second ear piercing here & I always get my eye brows threaded here as well. I got my eye brows threaded somewhere else once in Rowland just because I just wanted to get my eye brows done asap & they were terrible. Ever since, I only get my eye brows threaded here cause they're always so nice & gentle. It gets really crowded here so you're gonna have to wait around 15 mins but I highly recommend this place. Sameera and Bijal are freaking amazing! Seriously, if you want your eyebrows done right, ask for them. They're so friendly and take their time on my eyebrows. You only appreciate a good experience after you have an equally bad one. Nothing could be more true. I went to Sameera for my first waxing experience about a month ago. I went in thinking I would get arms and legs done, but decided that maybe for a first time just arms would do since I wasnt sure how my body would react to it. Sameera was super friendly but not in a sorta marketing way. She was totally truthful and told me that for a first time it was definitely going to hurt, but she said she was gonna be as quick as possible and that it generally feels like a band aid rip. She used really good wax that was heated to just the right temperature and spread on perfectly. She didnt scrimp on strips and was very quick. I think both full arms took under 15 minutes. She is also a little bit of a perfectionist and even though I said I thought it was great, she found stray hairs that she had left and took care of them. She then used a oil to get rid of the minuscule amounts of wax and an aloe moisturizer to help with the irritation. She talked to me throughout the procedure and was just a very personable person. I have been meaning to write her a review but something or the else kept coming up. Then last week I needed to get my arms waxed again, and instead of going ot her I went to a closer place. They charged me more for it and it was the most excruciating 30 minutes of my life thanks to the completely incompetent person. Thats when I realized what a gem Sameera is, I am never going anywhere else irrespective of how far I have to drive. read more
