Another salon had three tries at this request and never achieved the style. After driving an hour to get here because they came so highly recommended, they understood the assignment and went over and above to achieve the request. Our 13 yr old was nervous because of previous tries by another salon and when she left Hair Techniques was over the moon with excitement and thankfulness. The staff created so much in their care for her. She has total faith in her hair being able to be done properly. At the youthful age of 13 she has renewed faith because of the total skills and competency of the staff here. If you are considering hair care, this is the place you want. So much knowledge, experience and care here. A beautiful, clean salon and such a relaxing environment. We may have brought a very excited feel for a short time, however, the previous experience had us skeptical. So we were definitely energized and thankful once the realization that such an establishment was there to succeed, and wtih ease. This place has what it takes and more. We highly recommend this salon and would say don't hesitate or look any further. This is a top notch establishment.

Hair Techniques caught my eye from the road, and they had some good reviews on Facebook/Google+, so I thought I'd give them a try. Everybody there is super nice and welcoming. Stephanie does a great job with my hair, and Marisa does fantastic massage work as well. Pricing is incredibly fair, in my humble opinion. Obviously I can't speak first-hand for their women's salon services, but all of the women I've seen in there during my visits have been happy and appear to be "regulars," so I'm guessing that's no coincidence. Oh, and the location provides lots of convenient parking, if that matters to you. Give them a try if you're looking!

The staff are super friendly and when I called they warned me about how my walk in may not work out later in the day because of how busy it could get. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. And their prices definitely are awesome. Possibly the cheapest in town, or at least I haven't seen anything cheaper! I used to love this salon. I'm sad this was such a bad experience…read more.. I came in for a pedicure and acrylic set. The girl who did my pedicure didn't talk much and it was honestly not a good vibe. When she asked if I wanted my toenails trimmed, I said, "mmmm yeah sure. Just trim my big toes, the other toes are fine." (I had already trimmed and shaped them to my liking prior to coming, but I thought the big toes could still go a little shorter). She proceeded to cut all my toenails and cut my big toes down to nubs. I like a little bit of length in my toenails, nothing crazy, but nubs? Bruh. It was too late when I acknowledged it. I honestly was holding back and trying to let her cook, but it wasn't giving what I asked for... I told her she completely ignored me and what I just said lol and they offered to have me pay for the basic pedicure instead of the gel pedicure, which is something I guess. Honestly, the whole pedicure was NOT a relaxing experience. The water was super hot and when she rubbed the scrub soap on my legs, it was scratchy and painful. Then they do that thing where they beat the crap out of your legs. I'm anemic. 100% chance I'm bruising. As for the acrylic set, I am disappointed in how many of these places DON'T PRIORITIZE NAIL HEALTH! In the big 2026?? My nails are already thin. The man who did my nails used the nail drill to "buff the surface" which thinned them even more. The acrylic burned like hellll (which happens when your nails are too thin, the acrylic is too thick, or both.) Also, just look at the pictures of how the back of my nails looked when I left... you guys... be so forreal (P.S. I'm not including a pic of my pedicure ya freaks)
