Have gone here before and had a great experience from one of the female technicians. This time the guy did my nails and he was absolutely awful. Not only was everything about it messy and bad looking but I asked for a particular color and he chose a completely different color and painted it on. I did not pick the blue, I kept thinking "oh the next layer will be silver" because it was a silver cat eye with a slightly blue under layer. But the silver never happened. I can't recommend this establishment enough. The time and effort they put into these nails was incredible. I'd not had acrylic nails since I was 18 and my nails walking in were barely there. But I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they truly delivered. Favourite nail place I've ever been to and I can't wait to become a regular. Got acrylics here for the first time. The guy who did them ended up drawing some blood in the process and it continued to hurt for the next couple of days. Showed a picture of nail art that I wanted and they got the colors wrong, but I guess that's kind of on me because I could have told him to stop when I realized he was doing it wrong. It was supposed to be flames and ended up looking like seaweed. He also kept making inappropriate comments about me being "sexy" and wearing heels etc. He would laugh after he said the things, but it made me pretty uncomfortable. Also made an appointment but still had to wait 30+ minutes after my appointment time. Probably won't go back. Reasonably priced though. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon as my friend had been going here & I always loved her nails so I thought I'd give it a try. I had been looking for a place that did chrome/holographic nails & heard they did that here so I showed them what I wanted, and they took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted! It took a few tries to find the right chrome/fine glitter that worked & even went above and beyond & redid them to make sure they looked their best. It took longer than usual but I appreciated they didn't give up on me or give me a look I didn't like. I'll be recommending this place to anyone & everyone! Stopped in yesterday for a pedicure and fill-in. I was told it was going to be a 10 minute wait. I ended up waiting almost 25 minutes. Because of the much longer wait than anticipated, I decided to only get a pedicure. The staff was kind. There was not a large variety of regular polish either. I can't tell if they were rushing or not either due to the fact there was another lady waiting for a gel manicure behind me. I would recommend making an appointment. They did a good job on my pedicure, but it did take a long time. read more

The guy who did my nails was awful. He yanked my arms and fingers. Made me bleed so bad he couldn't control it. He left nail polish all over my skin and I had to ask twice for him to get rid of it. Best nail service in Bloomington by far! I went in as a walk in expecting the worst since almost all nail salons in Bloomington are subpar compared to Indianapolis salons. I called ahead to make sure I could walk in just for an acrylic set. An hour later I walk in and the guy already remembered what I wanted from our phone convo....I added on a pedi last minute and my nail tech did such a good job massaging my feet and cleaning them. I was not very satisfied with my SNS dip powder nails. The lady did not file down the dip after she was done dipping and it created a very lumpy look. Also, the wait was so long. I don't think I'd go back! read more

They were awesome and great price. I had the nail dip and will definitely go back. It's clean and they are efficient.

They do not honor appointment times and are inefficient/slow. Expect to wait at least half an hour past your appointment time to get in.

I had my very first manicure here and I loved the experience. The staff were professional, courteous, had big smiles on their faces, and were genuinely a pleasure to sit around for half an hour. I've been to this nail salon numerous times before and never encountered any problems. Came in today for the first time in about a year, and it looked like new ownership had taken over. i sat down and had a 30 minute wait. not a huge deal as only two people were working. i showed a photo of what i was wanting exactly. the only thing i didn't want was the gemstones. i saw her pull out the colors and was slightly questioning them but she was the nail tech so i trusted her. i had asked for a straight ballerina shape and she nodded in agreement. after gluing on the nails she began cutting them into a coffin shape. i didn't stress over it as the shape looked fine. she continued asking what color chrome i wanted throughout the process and i kept referring back to the photo saying this color. the end result looked NOTHING like what i asked for in the photo on the left. thankfully i was able to get in over at Nikki Nails and have them correct her poor work. i will never return her. read more

I would suppose if you have time and they are not crowded it might be a good place to go. I went and they were crowded. They said I'd have a long wait. No problem because I needed to get fresh manicure so I was willing to wait. I did for about ten minutes. The young ladies that came two people after me were told they would get to them in about 30minutes, they left. Another group came in for pedicures. Forty minutes after I had been waiting the technician takes the pedicure clients to the bowls and tells me if I wait for another 45 minutes he can do my manicure. Now, maybe they had an appointment and maybe the sky is purple! But in my book it was extremely disrespectful and I will not return to this salon again read more

They do not take you when you make appointments, then if you say something you are rushed. The guy barely did anything before he painted my nails. He did not remove the dirt under my nails (gross). No lotion, no service essentially. Then when I asked him to do a second coat he argued with me that I do not need it. When I insisted that I wanted it (there was see through parts all over, it needed the second coat), he kept trying to point out that he was right and I was wrong and i wasted his time. I stumbled upon this place while looking for a different nail salon. My bestie and I decided to give it a try for my birthday and we were both getting mani-pedi's with gel nails. It was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience with nail care I have EVER had! 1. No one spoke to us (not in English or any other language). 2. The spa water was COLD. 3. My bestie had remaining gel left on her toes from a few weeks before and they "ripped" it off with cuticle scissors (no polish remover!). 4. Our cuticles were destroyed! They didn't even clean the cuticle scissors between the use on our toes to fingers (gross!). 5. They used latex gloves (to which I am allergic). 6. They didn't exfoliate our feet (still have callouses). 7. They didn't do our pedicure paint in the pedicure chairs...instead they had us prop our feet up on the lid of a plastic bin (shaped like a barrel), while sitting at the manicure table--even though we were in an extremely awkward position, the kept swatting at our feet, yelling at us to "relax" (while we tried to keep our balance on the tiny chairs). 8. My bestie had one man doing her left foot from the right side of her body and another man doing her right hand from the left side of her body! (LITERALLY, she was twisted)! 9. The massage chair, was apparently "broken", as there was an EXTREMELY AWKWARD "ball" moving across parts of my behind inappropriately--so I shut it off--and they kept TURNING IT BACK ON!! 10. We paid $135 for this treatment. 11. THEY DIDN'T USE ANY LOTION...I had to ask for it, and they had to look for it! 12. They took the chair I was sitting in, before my nails were done, and started on the next client--as I stood there! 13. My Bestie got home (about 10 min later) and sent me a picture of her RUINED pedicure--which was gel, so it's supposed to last for WEEKS without peeling or flaking! She went back into the salon the next morning, showed them what had happened, and they said she should have come back in the same night...and they refused to correct it. I have NEVER had service so bad that I had to write a scathing report... WARNING!!! DO NOT WASTE A PENNY HERE!! read more

This was the absolute worst mani/pedi I have ever had. The people who work there wouldn't respond to anything I said other than a giggle. I asked them to trim my nails, so they cut a little bit of the side of one of them. Unacceptable. When you are paying for a service, the lease they could do is clean the excess polish off my skin before saying they were done. Also, one of my nails got messed up before I left the place and they looked at me like I was an idiot when I asked them to fix it. I will never be returning.
