Woah, how did I miss this gem in Bloomington?…read more Professional service with cheap prices... what more could I want? The staff are super friendly and when I called they warned me about how my walk in may not work out later in the day because of how busy it could get. I made an appointment, arrived on time and my technician was ready and waiting for me to start my service. Everyone was friendly and the technician made sure to explain about aftercare. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. And their prices definitely are awesome. Possibly the cheapest in town, or at least I haven't seen anything cheaper! It looks like they sell unlimited waxing cards for Brazilians or underarms in a three month period. Potential to save even more money!

I have had horrible acne my whole life, I hate getting my eyebrows done because it always causes a breakout. I came here in hopes to avoid that and it was amazing. Even just for an eyebrow wax she was so cautious about my skin, asking questions before to prevent anything possible. It was so nice to be taken care of as opposed to just a quick standard wax you would get anywhere else.

Goodbye Stress, Hello Beautiful Skin!…read more The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. I am so glad the spa is open on Sundays! I needed something to take my mind off work-related stress. The DermaSound was fantastic! It hasn't even been 24 hours and my face looks and feels amazing! I have rosacea and the treatment + LED therapy is just what I needed! I fell asleep during the LED part of the treatment. Its so quiet and relaxing - just the right amount of background music to add a nice ambiance :) I wish I could get a facial every day! Alexia is fantastic. I would highly recommend her!

Shoutout to Caitlin for being accommodating and helping me feel relaxed! She's the best! As for some of the questionable reviews about the cleanliness of the facility, I think it's just an older building for one. I also think they are more eco-friendly and reuse (after washing, of course) towels, pillows, etc., so they may look a bit more "dingy" than a high scale spa. I have never been concerned with cleanliness at Spaah.

Ignored my request to not touch my feet as I need surgery on them for stretched ligaments. The masseuse grabbed me by my ankles and feet to manipulate my whole leg. My nerves in my feet have been buzzing ever since, so thanks for that. Not like I need them to walk or anything. It felt like she was trying to manipulate my bones instead of just rubbing my muscles like I wanted. (more like amateur physical therapy). She didn't seem to notice things like flinching and "Ow!" I'll never go back. The people were very friendly (which is why I'm not "naming names"), but I'm not letting them touch me again. And I'll warn all the people I know about it. Ignoring medical requests is DANGEROUS. EDIT: I would've rated 3, but after reading the owner's responses, I'm even more disappointed.

Esthetician services also provided like waxing and facials. *And I did come back! I'm getting a short Swedish with add on Scalp massage and a mini facial. I got here early to relax. They provided me with lemon water & nice Sade music playing. I had a different masseuse named Emily who stated we should use our small amount of time to focus on my trouble areas. That was a great idea!! Afterwards she put me in a robe and slippers and moved me into an adjoining room for the facial with Lindsay. I learned a lot about skincare. The room had cool lights and was pretty magical. I loved the different smells of the fruity skincare. None of the products bothered my sensitive skin. Overall, it was a very amazing de-stressing experience!! I'll be back for longer services.
