Jenny's is AWESOME in terms of the actually service being performed. She does an amazing job on nails and this is the best manicure I have ever gotten. It's not extremely pricey, which as a college student is such a relief. I got builder gel with gel top coat and I am I love with my nails. The reason why I gave Jenny's 3 stars is because I spent 2.5 hours here when my actual manicure only took about 45 minutes. I made an appointment ahead of time but wasn't actually seen by anyone until I had sat there for an hour. Even then, she was jumping between me and another client, so the whole process took way long than it should've. I definitely recommend making an appointment, because I saw several walk-ins declined, but be prepared to spend a good chunk of your afternoon here (and bring some homework to do). read more

Jenny's is possibly the best in town. Which is not saying much since it is only slightly below average when taken into account all my experiences. The service at Jennys is way better than other nail salons in town in terms of communication but I find it extremely pricey for the actual quality of service performed. They charge extra for things like certain shapes and effects like chrome, etc. Not very gentle with manis and careless about cutting you. Not clean in terms of replacing used files/clippers between clients. What's worse is their lack of appointment enforcement policies. I wish they would not take appointments if they have no intentions of following them. Although, this seems to be a very normal trait amongst many nail salons in town. Albeit out of lack of options, if I must get my nails done in town for some occasion, I would pick Jennys. 8/10 service for Btown-IN 4/10 service for cities like LA or NY...... read more

While it's easier to make an appointment than it used to be (can now do online) and the space is bigger, the problems of disregarding appointments still exist. The last 3 appointments I've had, they BEGIN 35-40 minutes after my appointment time. Not sure if it's walk-ins they're taking right before I come in or if there is just a general lack of care for my time. I've actually gotten up and just left before. They overbook constantly and yet don't give their customers the courtesy to say, "hey if you have errands to run we are running late we apologize but if you would like to take advantage of the waiting time you can run an errand or grab a coffee in the area." Gave four out of five stars because my gel nails chipped after only a few days, and on a hand that is not my dominant hand as well. Going in tomorrow to see if they will fix it. Overall experience was good. They got us in quickly even without an appointment and the student discount was nice! The nail technician consistently asked if I was happy with my french tips as well. Update: When I went in to get my nails fixed, Jenny had me sit down and the technician immediately directed her attention to me, fixed the two nails, and checked my others as well. She added another top coat and even freshened up the white tips on all the nails (since they can get dingy naturally). Very happy with the customer service! read more

Unfortunately my mani/pedi was extremely rough, and the least relaxing nail salon experience I have ever had. I really hate to complain about services, but I flinched and yelped in pain a few times throughout and if I had not spoken up skin would have been broken. Like... hands and feet slammed down, very rough filing (with a dirty file), very rough cuticle pushing. The tech who did my nails was not who I booked with (I booked Jenny for my nails because she is so highly reviewed!). I would have much preferred my appointment be rescheduled if my preference couldn't be met because truly, my experience was awful and one of my nails still hurts from the cuticle being pushed back so far. My nails are lumpy and a little too thick for the semi-sheer style I chose. So disappointed I paid for my hands to be beat up and I will not be back. read more

The first time I went to Jenny's I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time to get a manicure and was assigned the a nail technician, that I didn't request to do my nails. The second time, today, I waited 35 minutes past my appointment time to get my nails done. The nail technician raced to finish my nails to get to her next customer. My nails came out uneven, bumpy, and over all messy. I left the nail salon scraping nail dust and gel polish off my hands. I went home and tried to fix my nails myself. Stay away. Complete lack of customer service. I made an appointment and even got a text message reminder the day before, and yet the nail tech wasn't available for 20 minutes past my appointment time. Now, I understand that shit happens and maybe there was a reason why they were so behind, but no one acknowledged it or apologized for the delay. When my manicure started the nail tech did not address me and just directed me to put my hands in a bowl of cold water... oookay? The icing on the cake was when the nail tech (who did not make eye contact with me once) forgot to apply lotion until after she had finished with my manicure and I had wet nails...? Another thing that wasn't acknowledged, but was super weird and awkward. I was happy with my nails, especially with the student discount they came at a great price. However, after less than two days one of my nails snapped off (I got dip with extensions). I called the salon twice with no answer, and walked all the way over to the salon to see if they would fix it to find that they were closed despite saying that they were open on their website. It's pretty disappointing that my nail snapped, especially on my non dominant hand, and now I feel that I have wasted $60 since they aren't open to fix them. read more

I love this place but do not expect them to be on time. They are all so good at doing nails and very friendly. HOWEVER, last time I went in was ridiculous. My friend and I had a 4:45 appointment and arrived at 4:40. Two women came in after us announcing that they had a 5 o clock appointment. The staff then sat the two of them and I mentioned to the receptionist that we had a 4:45 and asked why they were going in front of us. She gave us a vague answer about how they were running behind and it depended on which technician our appointment was with. We sat there waiting until 6 PM when they finally sat us WITH THE TECHNICIANS THAT WERE DOING THE 5 O CLOCK WOMEN. My tech started my nails but halfway through stopped to start and finish another woman's nails. My friend's nails did not get started until 6:20 and we didn't leave until 6:45. Felt like I needed a pedicure, so I headed to Jenny's Nails! I went during a weekday and there were two employees there when I arrived. The man was doing nails for a customer and the woman promptly got me seated for a pedicure. The inside of the salon is small and clean. There are about five pedicure chairs. The female employee didn't speak much English, but she was friendly and nice. The male employee was a little off-putting because he talked so bluntly. He ordered around the other staff too. He was definitely keeping an eye on what I was doing because I lifted my feet out of the water at one point because it was too hot and he immediately told me to put them in the water from across the room. After awhile, another woman came and sat next to me for a pedicure and he worked on her feet. He was very strange in how he talked to the customers and there seemed to be a lot of confusion over gel and regular polishes and whether they can go on. I had to change my polish after he said no gel. Overall, the pedicure was good but the atmosphere wasn't the most relaxing. The guy wasn't friendly and I thought he spoke a bit rudely to customers. I've gone twice now, and both times I've been so excited about my nails. I got a regular mani pedi the first time, with nail art. They did an awesome job on them and Jenny did a beautiful Christmas design with snowflakes and ribbons, just like the photo I brought. Gorgeous and reasonably priced. Today I got a gel manicure with art and it is gorgeous as well, and the rhinestones feel extremely secure. I showed Jenny a few different manicures that I liked online and she did something similar but even better. Everyone is also so nice. I usually feel anxious during beauty services but I haven't here. And you can call and ask when the best time to come in is, and they'll do their best to get you in fast. I'll definitely be back over and over. read more

My first time ever experiencing racism in a nail salon. I booked my appointment with Jenny 4weeks in advance and today was my appointment and I was treated terribly. I was given someone else and he was on his phone the whole time while doing my nails. I'm a huge kpop ( Korean pop)fan and wanted my fave groups name for my design and Jenny didn't want to do it and so did the guy that did my nails. I then had to wait over 1 1/2hrs just to get my design. I will never return nor recommend this place. Jenny's always does a great job. However, they tend to overbook which leads to long wait times. It's safe to set aside at least 2 hours to get your nails done. I made an appointment and still was not helped after an hour so I had to leave. No one apologized either. Wish I was helped in a more timely manner or at least given updates on my status even though I made an appointment ahead of time. read more

I have to say my favorite nail spot in B-Town! I recently changed over here because of a friends recommendation and I have to say I am glad I did! My manicure lasts so much longer and everyone is so much nicer. I never have to wait whenever I make an appointment because it seems that they make it a priority to attend to people with appointments. I am usually never the one to leave a bad review but I need people to know. I have gone to Jenny's nails many times and never asked for anything to complicated, normally a solid gel color no design. I have very sensitive toes and I wear boots a lot. I get ingrown nails often and ask for them to be taken care of but they never fully get it and stop half way through. I also had a sharp edge on one of my toes that was left and caused me to bleed after I got home. For pedicures I highly suggest Lee. She's amazing, takes her time and makes sure it's done right. As for manicures I would make an appointment for Jenny and leave it at that. On average I spend about $80+ before a tip to get my nails done and I expect higher quality nails. Maybe they were just having a rough day that day but it's happened a few times. In the pictures it's kinda hard to see but the top coat has bubbles through and has peeled off within 3 days. I didn't receive anything close to reference photo I used. There is still pink on the edges of my nails where it was not sanded off all the way and is very visible. And finally the top of my nails are not smooth and clean. They are rough from where the white paint was just put on. I had to go home and buff, smooth and trim them to make them how I liked it. read more

The staff were really friendly, and we were taken on time for our appointment. My mother and I got the gel mani/pedi combination, and it was $140 pre tip for both of our services. I had a great experience, unfortunately both of our manicures had chipped within days. Normally my gel manicures last for 2+ weeks. I was out of town, so unable to return to ask for them to fix. Came here for a gel manicure and although the people who work there are very nice, I'm not very pleased with the results. My cuticles look extremely dry, my pinky cuticle is bleeding, and the edges are not smooth. There are also still white nail shavings around the outside of my nails and the polish application is sloppy (i.e., the tip of my nail is blank). I have been to better nail salons where they take the time to really take care of your hands/cuticles and make your nails look flawless. read more
