The service here is unbelievably slow. I have to wait a month for an eye appointment, and during that time, my vision is getting worse because I'm straining my eyes. This has been the case for years, even though I'm a regular customer. My eyes are suffering daily, and nothing can be done about it until my appointment. I have had to go back to get the lens remade. Someone messed up the lens which was another 2 weeks without glasses. They really don't have anyone that will fit the glasses on your head. They do what they think is an adjustment and after a couple hours I realized the glasses were slipping down on my face and hurting my ear. I have never had so much trouble getting glasses to fit right and my assumption is that no one there is trained to FIT the glasses on my head. I am going to continue to go back but it is 35 minutes from my house through bad traffic every time I go. Why can't I get these glasses fit and go on. So stupid and I probably won't ever go back. But I must continue now because I do not have time to start all over as I am leaving on vacation in a few days and this has been going on for a month. The service here is great (especially Susana, she was so helpful and kind). I've been coming here since I was a kid. The doctor is really friendly and patient. He explains everything which makes you feel really comfortable and calm. They recently did some remodeling and the place looks great. -1 star because: I must say, they're designer frames are a bit on the pricey side but not too far off from other places around. Tonight went in to pick out my glasses because I knew Jeff and Merceide, I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong, would be there. I like and respect both of their opinions. I absolutely love this Eye World! Their customer service is impeccable! Their location is convenient and Merkeide is my go-to woman! She has great fashion sense when it comes to frames and you can almost see her wear a new pair each time you visit. Paul & Jeff are also very helpful because when i received my glasses, I didn't even notice the lenses were loose, but they noticed right away and promised to get it fixed. It only took two days! First and foremost, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The MD was very nice and that's where it all ends. According to Susana, due to my insurance I could only pick from a small case of frames. Then, when my glasses were ordered, I was told the insurance company must have lost my order after 23 days was resubmitted and I waited another 3 weeks to get glasses that I cannot use. The MD told me to get readers and he put in an order for distance glasses. The glasses I received were for reading, not distance. To top it off, my insurance told me that I can only get glasses every 2 years... So I was out of luck as the rd that was out in was for reading glasses only. I true my believe the glasses I received were not even mine! I have called 3 times, was told they will look into it, and nothing.. Well, I went and paid out of pocket to another eye doctor and they could NOT believe what I was given and my actual prescription that I NEEDED. While the store was very busy today, Jeff still made sure to provide us with the highest level of service. He asked the other team members for their opinions on his recommendations.
