I do not like going to Oceanside. I had an awful high school experience and I get an eerie feeling whenever I have to go there. With all that being said, I had an unpleasant experience at Nassau visions today. My girlfriend came with me today to Nassau visions because I do not like driving to places by myself. I had to wear my girlfriend's glasses to drive. I told the three receptionist (I'm not sure why there's three people there) that I had to wear her glasses. There was no comment made about me wearing her prescription lenses at that time. Anyways, I go to the back with the optician. When I come out of the optician, I saw my girlfriend very upset. I ask her what's wrong. She says, she will tell me later. Yada yada I pick my glasses out and sample contacts. Pay for it and leave. I come to find out from my girlfriend later that the THREE receptionists ganged up on my girlfriend and gave her sh*t about her letting me drive and I shouldn't be wearing her glasses. The Dr. didn't give me any problems, rechecking them and ordering a new pair. My ins covered most of it but the secretary failed to inform me ahead of time, that to add on scratch and glare resistance cost me more out of pocket. I didn't know that until AFTER I picked out my glasses. The Dr. though was nice and patient and honored my request to not shine bright lights into my eyes.
