The entire staff was amazingly friendly and ! They were kind and patient. My visit with Dr. Sianghio went very well and thorough! She let me know what changes occurred with my vision. I'm so grateful and glad I found Eye to Eye! Best experience ever! read more

If I could rate this place a 0 I would !!!!!! Stay away from this place!!!!!! My son had an appt today for an eye exam mind you he is 11 years old they made the appt at 5:00pm my brother takes him for me and gets there at 4:58 mind you! They had to wait an extra 20 min and even the people in the waiting room were upset they took that long and left ! The doctor herself proceeds to tell my brother that she has to pay her staff over time because of it being taking too long ? How was that our fault ??? So unprofessional from that !!! Who says that! Her patience is very thin! If you have kids DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE my brother felt so uncomfortable with her because of the fact that she was rushing my son so much! He couldn't see the letters and she was frustrated with him and kept saying he's going right back to the start. Well how about as a doctor you take your time and explain to him a little bit more of what he needs to do or here's a thought maybe don't work with kids!!! I remembered why I didn't take my other child here I remember I had the same exact experience with my daughter and I should have left a review and done it the right way but this time I will! And if they delete this I promise you I will keep writing to STAY AWAY especially if you have kids please ! She also said that she lives an hour and a half away and that she still had to drive back like okay? And ???? Don't make late appointments then!!!!! I am absolutely upset and angry that my son is crying my 11 year old son is crying because of how she made him feel and mind yall my son is not a sensitive kid at all!!!!!! I hope you think about your actions and reconsider working with kids because obviously you are in the wrong career choice ! read more

its been 3+ years since seeing the eye doctor and i had the most wonderful experience here. the staff and doctor were compassionate and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We will be back soon read more

Dr. Was rude. After 15 minutes of socializing in the front, she skipped me and went to the person after me. She has no regard for anyone's time. Never apologized when her staff corrected her. read more

The staff is nice and professional, I can't say the same about the doctor Leyden Sianghio, that woman seems to be under the influence of caffeine or something, she's always hyper and everything is fast, I've made an appointment for a re-check, she started lecturing me about my mask, over and over while hers was mid nose, she seemed annoyed and in a hurry, lectured me about how to use progressive glasses, again rushing me to answer 1 or 2, 3 or 4... when I hesitated she would huff and go back and ask again, I said to her I was sorry for wasting her time and she said "yeah, I have patients waiting for me" assuming that I walked in, I said that I did make an appointment, she said "oh you did?" The eye shop said she had messed up my original prescription! There's more but I'm going to stop here, don't want to waste my time on this woman. read more

If this was the last place to come to I wouldn't still come here. My appointment is at 10 o'clock I wasn't seen till 12 o'clock after I was rescheduled the first time I came in the lady scan my eye over four times saying that she couldn't get it which caused me the irritate my eye and scratch it for her to tell me she can't see me or can use my community first that she wanted me to run my insurance no ! Do not come here read more

First they put you on hold for 30mins and you have to call back. Then tell you they are going to force you to have a eye scan and make you pay 35.00 per person as a requirement to be seen. When you politely decline because aren't you doing an eye exam anyway?!!! They tell you that you have no choice!!!! So you are supposed to pay over 100.00 for a scan that you don't want or get out. Because the insurance does not pay! They have no customer service and not to mention the doctor is rude! Taking my two insurances and my family of 8 somewhere that the scam does not lead the conversation. Oh and I called other providers in different neighborhoods and they don't do that and they recommended they be reported. Seems like they are taking advantage of the area they are in. read more

Let me first say "I WILL NEVER SEEK SERVICE THRRE AGAIN". These are the most unprofessional people including Dr Lyden E. Sianghis O.D. My original appointment was set for a Tuesday so I thought and when I arrived I was told it was the next day on a Wednesday. Needless to say I was agitated but assumed it was my mistake and made sure I apologized when I returned on Wednesday. The clerk accepted my apology. As I proceeded with my I couldn't help but noticed the staff putting his hands on the person in front of me to push her closer to the eye machine (he wasn't wearing gloves). With rising numbers on COVID-19 i was concerned. I also noticed he did not wipe down the area where my eye exam was to take place but the previous customer had contact with the machine. Two things happened at this station (I brought it to his attention and proceeded to wipe with my sanitizer) he still was not concerned. The next three stations were the same No wiping of anything. When the doctor came in I informed her..she was apologetic and promised it would be rectified. I had to return to the station for another exam and he did use something. At that point I was somewhat relieved. When making my appointment I told them I need both Glasses and contacts. After my exam the doctor and I proceeded to the front desk and she and one of her staff conversated interestingly about why I had 2 sheets of paper as if it wasn't normal for me to get what I asked for. They were rude to discuss this in front of me. I departed and went next door to check on my glasses. Had to return back to the doctor's office to ask a question about the contact prescription. Thank God.I did. when I walked in there were 2 customers waiting to be seen, one being seen and the doctor and 2 of her staff at the front desk discussing me in a derogatory manner "in front of the other customers". I purposely listen for a couple of minutes and leaned forward "they looked as y gough they seen a ghost". I was extremely hurt to say the least to see the doctor engage with the staff in such a two-faced unprofessional manner. I looked at the doctor and told her I would not return to her facility after I get my contact order. this occurred June 17th (had to pray on whether or not I should pursue this matter). This place is a hot mess, they don't take Covid-19 seriously now grat it they took temperatures some wore masks but no disinfecting of the machinery took place. They have the nerves to ridicule you when you request certain things. San Antonio numbers are rising and I know why. concerned mistreated customer. read more

I made an appointment prior to my visit. I was quoted a certain price for glasses exam. I'm on a tight budget so I asked. I did the whole exam process no problem. During exam I mentioned to Dr. about an eye infection I had to go to the ER for 3 weeks prior. My eyes have cleared and are much better than before other than some persistant itching. He took a quick look asked a few questioned and explained how the ER DR. is not actually qualified to make a proper diagnosis on eye issues. Told me to stop meds I was prescribed and that he would write me another that would be costly but efficient. Mind you, just some itching now. When we were done, I went to pay my exam bill. It was over double what I was quoted. After inquiring about bill, I was told that it included exam and medical exam. WTF!!! Then when I asked about breakdown my exam was an extra $20 more than quoted. Not at any point did ANYONE say anything about extra for medical exam! I mentioned previous problem when making appointment and to eye tech when doing initial preexam. This is just bad business! I will be reporting to th BBQ also. BE AWARE!!! read more

We have been going here for the last several years. They see all my kids and me. The office staff and doctor's are super sweet and helpful. We never had to wait very long in the office and they are super great about getting appointments. My kids don't mind going to the eye doctor at all. read more

The doctor is so sweet and nice. I love her and why I come here, I drive 25 minutes to come to this eye doctor and have been since coming here since I was 17. I came yesterday to pick up my contacts and got here at 5:44 and the doors were locked, I called and the "tech " answered the phone and said that everyone had left ... will not be returning to this eye doctor. read more

Great customer service, friendly staff and fast service. The Optometrist and is very personable and takes her time with the exam and I appreciated her expertise and care. Front desk was patient and took the time to explain my bill thoroughly. Enjoyed the visit. I will return. read more

Very long wait times. No point in making an appointment when you get there 15 mins before your appt and there's 3 people waiting to go before your appt. And they were taking their sweet time. Sat there for 20 mins and never got greeted or given paperwork to fill out. So we left. I'll never go back here. read more

I love this place. This has saved my eyes a couple of times and the doctor is great. I know everybody is human. I feel safe in this place. She is very good at her job. Recently remodeled. Well like a year ago. Great tune up. Experience and expertise and great equipment make a great work and people are quick. Top notch care like toyota. Does get busy I can say that. Please be kind. Great service. read more

I will keep this short and sweet. I arrived 15min early for my appointment. I wasn't seen by the doctor until an hour and 15min after my appointment time. No apologies from the front desk. The tech that does initial check up seemed reasonable, but didn't offer any explanation for the wait. While I waited in lobby, the optical tech came out and sprayed an incredible amount of air freshener all over. Mind you, there were several people in the room. Very unprofessional and possibly hazardous to the woman whose eyes were being dialated. Asked for receipt upon leaving. Didn't get one. Dr was nice but also didn't offer explanation for waiting so long. Not a tight enough ship. Never going back. Perhaps the Dr. Doesn't know how the appointments are,but clearly that place has major problems. Btw, my eyes are perfect! read more

Staff is very professional and responsive. Jamie was very helpful in finding replacement prescription sunglasses for my son.

This office is a joke. Have been waiting for over two hours with an appointment and people who came in after us and late for their appointments are still being seen before us. This will definitely be the last time I come here and will definitely not recommend this office to anyone. read more

Arrived 20 minutes early, basically was ignored by the front. 15 minutes past my SCHEDULED appointment time and I haven't been called. The office has a disgusting smell of old cigarette smoke, and the front looks like they have don't want to be bothered. Shame because I've been coming here for years for my kids. But I think it's now time to move on. After asking when my kids would be seen they said they're next, no kidding. No one else is here! And again the front desk girls have a crap attitude that is very off-putting. I'd leave right now but my kids need their glasses. After this appointment I will be looking elsewhere. Save your time. Go elsewhere also! read more

This place does not care about their patients. I came into an appoint at 5:15 filled out paperwork and my appoint was canceled because the Dr had to leave. Reschedule for another 5:15 appoint arrived 15 late and was denied, mind you I already filled out my paperwork the waiting room was full I told the receptionist I wasn't going to be seen at 5:15 anyways. My time was not important bad bad customer service. Gave them a star because it made me read more

It was very easy to schedule an appointment for my daughter they were able to get her in later on that day. The receptionist was very friendly and I thought the tech was friendly but didn't tell my daughter what she was doing when it came time to dialate her eyes. When you don't know what's going on that can be scary for a kid. So about the doctor... She clearly doesn't know how to talk to a child she was very rude she was saying that if my daughter couldn't see then she would have wore her old broken glasses. She was speaking in big words that my daughter could not understand and became frustrated with my daughter. When she was asking what looked better 1 or 2 she did it so fast that my daughter had to asked her to do it again, and you could hear the frustration in the doctors voice and she continued to loudly chew her gum. She never addressed any of the concerns that we had about head aches and burning water eyes. I will never come back here and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! The doctor is clearly in it for pay not to help people! read more

*children beware* Do not bring your children here, the doctor is rude, impatient, and will make your kid feel dumb. This was my son's first visit to an eye doctor and she is horrible. If you do go here please be prepared to let her know if she treats your kid like crap. I sure let her have it. And when she points to her military medals as proof of experience, feel free to give her the 1 finger salute. My son gives her 2 thousand thumbs down. Not worth the hassle. read more

The doctor is very rude and impatient I will never take my children to her again. She was rushing my kids to hurry through their eye exam and told them that they can't fool her into prescribing glasses to them. She said that they are lazy and play too much on the computer is why they can't see. Some of the staff is nice the lady at the front desk is super rude like you are bothering her by speaking to her at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone, they should be shut down with the level of unprofessionalism in this office. While waiting in the office for an hour past my appointment time I seen them turn down so many patients and were rude to the elderly. If they do not have the time for their patients then they should not schedule appointments. read more

Eye to Eye Vision - Optometrists Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

See all

This was literally the WORST eye doctor I've ever been to. So once I finally got into a room I talked with the assistant and she was pretty friendly (the friendliest person there, in fact) she asked me what my primary issues were and I told her it was just for my yearly exam and that my eyes have been uncomfortably dry. She assured me that the doctor world be able to help me with that seeing as how she is a dry eye specialist. Then, she left the room and I waited for the doctor. When the doctor came in she began the exam. She started off with the whole "read the bottom line" thing, but I honestly could not see it. However, I still tried. To me, the letters literally looked like little black blobs. When I told her I could not see, she very rudely told me to try and keep going. So at that point I just started making up letters because it was hurting my eyes to keep staining them. Next, it came to the "what's better 1 or 2?" questions. And she changed it so quickly that I could barely decipher what it was before she changed it. Another thing that stood out to me was that while she was looking into my eyes with her light, she was smacking her gum in my ear! DISGUSTING!!! Finally, she was about to leave and I was wondering why she hadn't addressed my other concerns nor had she asked me if I had any questions. So, I politely asked about the dry eye problem. She quickly brushed it off and told me that I need to see my primary care physician. WHAT?! This made no sense to me seeing as how she was a DRY EYE SPECIALIST! Then I asked about gold flecks that I sometimes see in my vision and she rudely replied that it could be a number of things and that she doesn't know everything and again that I need to see my regular doctor! She then informed me that she "doesn't get paid for discussion" because my "insurance doesn't cover that." I left feeling like the whole visit was a complete waste of my time. She didn't help me with any of my issues, though, she did manage to give me an eyeglass prescription. Luckily, my insurance allows her to do that! I will NEVER, EVER, EVER go there again! I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy. I would like to point out though, the assistant was very nice, she should be working with a much better doctor. read more
