Oh, what an amazing experience my wife and I had at this place! We waited a mere two weeks for our glasses to arrive--totally worth it, right? Except, when we finally tried them on, the lenses turned every light into a kaleidoscope, and we immediately felt dizzy. Fun! I went back the very next day, and their solution? "Oh, there's nothing we can do." Brilliant. But wait, they did offer to send them back to the lab to "recheck"--how generous. I told them if they couldn't fix it, I wanted a refund because these glasses were absolute garbage. For the amount of money we spent--on top of using our insurance--you'd think they'd offer a little more than the customer service equivalent of a shrug. And here's the kicker: when I brought up my wife's glasses, they refused to even look at them unless she came in personally. I explained that she works nights and sleeps during the day, but apparently, that's not their problem. Nice touch. As someone who's worn glasses my entire life, it was so refreshing to be talked down to like I have no clue what I'm doing. Bravo to this optometrist for setting a new low in customer service. If you're looking for terrible service, overpriced glasses, and a whole lot of attitude, this is your place! Otherwise, run!!! read more

I went in for my annual check up. Third visit. Never had any problems. Location is alright. Clean inside, ladies in reception were attentative, actually checked me in early. Nice eye doctor, very polite, had a funny convo as to why I needed my glasses asap so I can complete my physical to drive the bus for MTS, but knowing it takes 2-3 weeks. I wasn't expecting my exam to be a better outcome than I expected. But my vist was nevertheless pleasant. It's exactly a week and my glasses came in! Thank you ladies! read more

Made an appointment on their website which they cancelled. They rescheduled my appointment without consulting me and sent it to me via email. I responded that I can't do that time. After a long back and forth, we got a time that worked. A week goes by and they cancel my upcoming appointment, again! What a pain in the.... Oh well, they won't be getting my business. I just come here because it's next to my place so for location convenience. They don't have too many great deals too many options here or anything spectacular here. This review is for the friendly staff here. This location isn't the best, but the staff makes up for it. There was a lady checking me in and she refused to let my son inside without a mask and I understand policy completely. So I was just going to be seen and have him waiting outside and he would use my mask to go in since I didn't have any extras. Well another lady heard and she was like don't have him standing outside. So she went to get a personal disposable mask in her car for him! I thought that was soooo nice of her and really appreciated her for doing that. I wish I got her name. I do not plan on coming back to this office. This office used to be on top of things, personable, and showed professionalism. When I went into my eye exam on March 27, the eye doctor that gave me my exam was so unprofessional. I felt like it was a kid giving me an exam. The way she talked and examined my eyes, I was so shock she was the eye doctor. It was to the point where I was about to get up and leave. There was a specific test my primary doctor wanted me to take during my eye exam and the eye doctor here told me it's a super old test and not many offices have it in house anymore and do it. She then went on about how doctors nowadays don't know that, that test isn't really needed to determine dry eyes, etc. She also said she's the type of eye doctor that diagnoses a patient based on their symptoms and didn't bother to really look and see if I have dry eyes or not. She barely touched base on the health of my eyes. She also asked me what contacts I was using before and when I told her she told me those specific ones "sucked" and I was just shocked hearing that. She also was struggling to submit my eye drop requests to my pharmacy and when I walked out she gave me a prescription form to give to my pharmacy without a signature. When I asked for a signature she just scribbled on it. Her signature did not match the other document she gave me with my prescription information. I have been going to this office for a few years but damn, this place is so unprofessional now I can't go back. Today, on April 6, I called like 9 times around 10:55AM and the receptionist kept hanging up on me before I could say anything and then finally she picks up and says "can we put you on hold" and then I waited and waited and no one. So I hung up and called back 7 more times and she did the same thing where she kept hanging up on me and finally she picks up and I asked her if there is something wrong with her phone like, she states "there is only two of us today so we are trying to help both those in the office and phone" and I told her "it'd be nice if you didn't click multiple times on me or at least explain how busy you are and how there's only two of you" I would have been compassionate about it and understood but since all she did was click on me over and over, that just shows she was just trying to get rid of me as a customer. I literally spend $612 on daily contacts here but once I pick up my contacts, I don't plan on ever coming back to this office and will find another primary optometrist. I'm so disappointed because I value long term customer relations and this place has changed drastically. Hoping they can find better and more professional staff. read more

A few weeks ago we were originally at their national city location for my mamas appointment but then they turned us away and sent us here to spring valley. We walk into the store and it is busy. There were a lot of people in there but they still took us in. Not sure why the other location turned us away when it didn't seem busy there... anyways I'm thankful they squeezed us in! All three girls were very friendly and the Dr. Jalsing was thorough with the exam and if it wasn't for her we wouldn't have known about the cataracts. i have used this office to my yearly eye exam for about 3 years and was pretty happy with the care I received until now. This year the doctor told me that my cataracts were large enough to need surgery. I took a few months to decide to have the surgery done and called the office to ask for a referral to an ophthalmologist. What got was a report of my eye health for me to find a doctor to pass this information to. I called the insurance company to pass on to a specialist. I knew the office personnel was supposed to refer me directly to an in-network specialist, but I thought maybe getting referral have changed. So, I called my insurance company to get a referral and was told to call the office back and let them handle it. I called Eye Care Optometry and was told to give the report I received to an ophthalmologist I found. When I said it was her job to do that, she told me i had to find a doctor and give them the report I received by email. Rather than argue with her, i told her thank you and I would find someone to take care of my eyes. I then called my primary care doctors office to get the referral process started. I feel that if I have to do your work for you, why pay you? I will not use this office for any further eye care! read more

Been going to this optometry eye care in spring valley over 10yrs. Always been very satisfied with my examination. Returned for a yearly appointment and the moment I walked in, one of the staff that was taking appointments was not greeting in a professional way and in her tone of voice very aggressive. She asked why I was there and I told her I had an appointment. In a rude tone told me to sit down. Then she called me to the examination room for 3 test. The second test, I got up and walked out . I felt I was being rushed . I addressed my complaint to the front desk and asked to speak to Dr. Le. Bc the doctor was with another patient and said I would call her by phone. Later that day, doctor called me and apologized for her behavior. And mention she had a previous complaint about her. I will no longer return to that office again. Very disappointed. read more

I walked in a couple minutes late tsk-tsk, but I was so happy to find that that was irrelevant to them they just had me sign in and they kept the ball rolling!! I got my prescription filled and I picked out some boss frames!!! There was a new staff member there I can't remember his name but he was super AWESOME!!!
