So I was just going to be seen and have him waiting outside and he would use my mask to go in since I didn't have any extras. Well another lady heard and she was like don't have him standing outside. So she went to get a personal disposable mask in her car for him! I thought that was soooo nice of her and really appreciated her for doing that. I wish I got her name. Every time I went was a horrible experience for me. Dr. Cummins is rude and condescending. Keep in mind that I've been a client for I want to say at least 7 years. He insulted my intelligence when I asked a simple question about my insurance policy. He also removes your contacts for you, which is uncomfortable and just plain strange. It got to the point where I dreaded my yearly check up because I knew I'd be seeing him, and paying a ton of money for contacts and glasses. Now that I'm older, I've realized that you don't have to go to the same doctor as your parents, and I have found a new place where the staff is friendly, and more importantly, helpful. I'm giving this office 2 stars only because my parents still love him (and they don't have a Yelp to represent that). I was greatly warmly at the front desk by a young woman who took my information and let me know who would be out to see me first. I waited for about ten minutes and was asked to follow a nurse to a small room to do several eye tests. She returned me to the waiting room which was attached to their eyeglass area with lots of frame options. Dr. Morgan came out and got me and escorted me to an exam room. He went through the normal battery of tests. He asked lots of questions and was straightforward with information which I appreciated. I got my new prescription and took a look around at all of the frames. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend to facility and Dr. Morgan. She went through vision therapy. She says it was hard but worth it. Her grades improved and she graduated from college with honors with both degrees and may go onto an advanced degree.
