I never thought that I would ever review a Big 5 in my life…read more But I just met Fishing Ollivander at this Big 5 and he helped me find the fishing rod. Or, I guess, the wand chooses the wizard, Harry. He spent time going through different rods with me. Then he pretended to be types of big fish and trained me to use my hip to catch said assorted fish. When I found my ideal wand / rod ... it was magical. Next came the reel and it was almost as expensive as a PS4. But my very own Fishing Ollivander recommended it. And I'm not some filthy muggle. Hooks? Done. Questions about Carolina Keepers and sliding sinkers? He knows the way. He was there when the old magic was written. I don't know if I'll catch that 100 lb tuna tomorrow, Dave. But I already landed the next best thing: magical customer service and the best fishing store on this side of the 10 freeway.

Then when I caught it, he forced a return on me by lying and saying he couldn't get that ammo anymore when in all reality, he accidentally sold it for too cheap, he figured out he wasn't going to make money anymore. He is a scummy person and his staff will make you feel dumb for asking questions about firearms. My friends and I all have stories about this place.

The store is vey well laid out and is great for most sports enthusiasts but if you're someone who's main sport is running, you'll definitely have to look elsewhere for running supplies.
