It works when I'm in this area. Due to a preponderance of good restaurants, sometimes my big truck needs fuel. They are in the area competitively priced. This doesn't mean fill up your tank. Yet for 5 to 10 gallons, this will get you in a lower priced area. You'll have lots of room here. Despite being in a busy location, usually I get a pump with ease. Also this station is very clean. Not everything around here is, and the store has goodies. All of the employees have been friendly. At night for safety purposes, well illuminated although there are some mostly harmless characters around. read more

Well since I was low on fuel, I stopped by this Exxon. I also need to but a new phone charger cord, because my old one has crapped out. This Exxon did not have the ten foot cords. They had removed hats, gloves and other miscellaneous merchandise in one small section of the store. What I did see are elderly men listening to Reggae Music and not wearing masks. I find it amusing, because a big sign says "no mask, no service." I also saw sign that says bathroom is out of order. This sign has been there for years. The Porta Pottie has been removed from outside for two years now. If the toilet are really broken, the shitbreaks are going to get longer. Or invest in adult diapers...that can get smelly and messy. The car wash was something that was spur of the moment. Nevertheless, for $12 I went for the highest cleaning possible. My wife said I should get my car washed soon. I figured since I was at a car wash, why not kill two birds with one stone... I know my pet bird would not like that expression. Right after paying for the car wash, I thought about the brushless car wash. Too late. The car wash turned out fine even though I took before the car wash photos. In the future, i will only do brushless car washes. I feel more comfortable this way. read more

The first time was fine, although that was only for the car wash (which is quite elusive in the area, for reasons unknown). As I was in the area again, I thought I would return for gas and another wash. I had cash - a rare thing! - and went inside to pay, and also had my Plenti card with me because while I really don't understand how points accumulate, I do understand that I once saved a lot on gas. I told the cashier - jahangir (according to my receipt which I got 5 minutes later) - that I wanted gas as well as a wash, and gave him my Plenti card. At the same time, a guy flew in the side door, yelling about how he entered the car wash, couldn't figure out how to enter the code, and now it would not give him a wash (it's not that hard buddy, but that is not the point). Rather than tell him to wait a moment while he helped me, the guy told him sorry, no wash for him, and then a dispute started, finally ending in a new receipt being rung up for him while I waited and waited. I should have done two things: first, tell the guy to shut the hell up and wait his turn, and then told the cashier to screw it, but for whatever stupid reason, I waited. Finally it was my turn to pay; yay! I was the only person in line and yet I waited, handed over my $$ and when I was given a receipt, I said "you got the card number, right?" since I had only given it to him as soon as I walked in the door. "No, I forgot" was his answer. Whatever. Does this make me want to return ever? No. Does it make me want to call him out on Yelp? Definitely. This girl will take her $30 elsewhere. read more

Cheap car wash. That says enough. In MD/VA, car washes are notoriously expensive and the one that comes to mind is Flagship carwash which can easily cost upwards of $22-$25 for a machine car wash.... At this time of the year, our car is pretty much covered in salt. Of particular concern is the bottom of the car, which most people do not pay attention to when washing their car. A nice undercarriage wash with protectant coating at a gas station easily runs upward of $16. In this location, you'll be paying $12, which is a very good price. Fill in some gas and you'll be getting a discount of $.20/gallon if you do the car wash. That pretty much puts you on par with the gas prices with the Annandale Exxon on Little River Turnpike which is probably the cheapest one nearby. Went here yesterday and got my car washed. Pretty good car wash. I vacuumed my car afterwards and the vac actually left my car looking clean. Customer service was great, I will def be coming to get my car washed and when I need to vacuum my car, worth the drive. read more

I live in DC so am not in Falls Church that often, but happened to receive such wonderful service, I needed to write about it on Yelp!! Uzi Arshad, 703-698-5435 = awesome :) So I arrive there and I'm kind of in a rush (isn't that always the story) and sadly realize that my gas pump is insanely slow. I think the total fill up for my 1999 Toyota Corolla took 10-15 minutes--I'm not kidding. So in the middle of the fill up, I needed to buy some snack items from the shop anyway and went inside to look around. The employee working there was very friendly, greeted me, and asked how my evening was going. I was kind of bratty and short with him and told him I was fine, but annoyed at that moment because the gas pump was so incredibly slow. I continued to look around for my snacks and he gasped and told me that he was so sorry--I was right and my gas pump WAS really slow...I thought it was nice he was paying attention. And then he continued to apologize and watch it pumping very slowly and promised he would get someone to look into it. That was the first thing--he didn't ignore my casual comment, he really cared and wanted to change the situation in the future. Meanwhile, I'm still just casually looking around, not really paying him much attention or even adjusting my (probably rude) behavior. So I go up to the register to purchase my items and when he was extremely courteous to the lady in front of me--for no reason at--I realized he was just really NICE. So when I come up, he asks if there's anything he can do to make my experience more enjoyable because he felt bad for the slow gas pump. *** WHOA. Let's just stop right there. Make my GAS STATION PUMPING AND BUYING SNACKS "EXPERIENCE" more enjoyable??!! He owed me absolutely nothing. It was really no big deal. And I WAS THE ONE NOT even nice to him in the first place.... *** oh. but there's more..... So THEN he offers me $2 off a car wash!! He INSISTS that Exxon has an excellent car wash service and after my heart is sinking and I'm secretly burying my head, I have to explain to him that I need to be in Seven Corners (down the road) in 10 minutes so I was sorry, but I didn't have time right then and I really appreciated it. He continues to tell me that the offer is good for anytime if I live in the area and I wanted to come back and get a car wash later...... After all this, I walk out to my car thinking wow, that was one of the best gas station experiences I've ever had. Funny, but totally true. And before it was too late, I rushed back inside and asked for the employee's information because I wanted as many people as possible to read about such a considerate, well-mannered and hardworking individual.... thank you Uzi Arshad.... awesome. :) read more

I would give them 0 stars if possible. went there for a car wash, first purchased some gas and then a car wash. when i drove up to the car wash i discovered that this is a BRUSH car wash. I will never use anything but a brushless car wash as the brushes can scratch and damage your vehicle; especially if the person ahead of you has a very dirty car and there are remnants of the dirt on the brushes. I immediately asked the cashier for a refund but he refused; VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. other gas stations have issued refunds for the car wash when i accidentally "pressed yes" when ordering gas. read more

I visited Exxon at Loehmann's Plaza 4784823 in Falls Church, VA. this evening. I intended to use a car wash that I purchased on 10/26/2011. After entering the code from my receipt at the car wash, I received the message that the code had expired. According to my receipt the code indeed had expired on 11/09/11; I did not know that the car wash had an expiration date as it is a service provided by the service station on a daily basis. I went inside to the station attendent and requested a valid code so I could wash my car or a refund so that I could repurchase the service and wash my car. The service attendent, Kidist, refused stating that she was not allowed to give either a refund or issue a new code. She did very little to assist me. I asked to talk to the manager, but there was no manager at the store. I asked her to call the manager; or someone that could assist me and she refused. I again requested a refund, but she refused. She asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said yes. She picked up a cell phone and I expected her to call someone, but she did not. She proceded to write down a phone number. She said I could talk to the manager by calling the store tomorrow; the phone number she was giving me was the number to the service station. All I wanted to do was wash my car. I wanted the service that I had already purchased. To me this does not seem like an unreasonable expectation or an unreasonable request; as I purchased a car wash; I did not used the code issued to me on my receipt; I had my receipt; and the car wash was open and appeared to be servicable. I still do not understand why the attendant could not issue me a new code or refund for the service that I purchased but did not receive. I find this customer service unacceptable. I realize that my code expired, but I would not expect a non-perishable service that does not expire to not be provided once purchased. read more
