I can't recommend The Car Doctor enough!…read more My transfer case catastrophically failed, and I was incredibly lucky that my car broke down just two minutes away from their shop. It was around 10:00 PM, so I searched Google for the nearest repair shop and found The Car Doctor. Even though they were closing, one of the employees took the time to help me drop off my car. That alone showed me they genuinely care about their customers. The next morning, my car was fully diagnosed, and they clearly explained the issue and gave me multiple repair options without any pressure. Since replacing the transfer case is a major job, I was told it would likely take a few days. To my surprise, I received a text message the very next day around 5:00 PM saying my car was ready for pickup! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly they completed such a big repair. The price was very fair, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service, professionalism, honesty, communication, and efficiency. Everyone at the shop treated me with respect and made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to the entire team at The Car Doctor for taking such great care of me and getting me back on the road so quickly. You've earned a customer for life. Highly recommended!

When I came into Burke JL for routine maintenance, Burke JL reported that the garage forgot to fill my car with oil and didn't replace my break oads. Really satisfied with Steve and Brake Masters Mobile Brake Repair and strongly recommend him for…read moreyour brake needs! I messaged the business on Yelp, and Steve was very responsive from the get-go. We first spoke on a Wednesday, and he was able to come to my office in Fairfax, VA that Friday. He was very communicative and punctual. Once he got there, shortly after seeing my brakes, he advised me that the lug nuts on my tires were over-torqued by the last shop that did my tires. This wasn't his fault, but he was exceptionally patient in helping me resolve the issue so that he could still fix my brakes the same day (he even gave me a ride to the body shop down the road to get my car!). He really went above and beyond. I also really appreciated how he explained everything along the way. He really puts customer service first. Overall, I strongly recommend Steve and his services. His rates are very reasonable, especially for the quality of his work and premium materials. I don't anticipate having an issues with my brakes in the future, but if I do, I will definitely be a repeat customer and will also recommend him to others.

I used to be a customer there, even though they recommend ridiculous things…read more For example, i bought new tires from them and they tried to convince me to do a repair. When i pressed them, they said it wasn't a safety issue but it would help the tires last longer. Only problem was the repair would have cost way more than the actual tires! So i told them i'll just buy new tires when i need and save the money. They also tried hard to convince me to have my old battery cleaned... which would have cost more than half the price of a new battery. Bigger problem is their attitude. Went in for oil change and inspection. Had coupon for each. Manager mumbled that they normally don't take 2 coupons but he'll do it for me. Gee... nice of him to do me a favor by honoring coupons that they sent me! Then he wanted me to fill out a paper form - with the same info they already had on their computer! Told me it's "their policy". Then i handed him the wheel lock key... and he scowled and told me i'd have to agree to waive any damage they might cause. Never had to deal with that - even when THEY installed the tires that were on my car that i bought from them. Certainly not a scowl. Had he done any of that in a friendly way that showed he recognized my concerns, things might have been different. But his attitude was kinda strange for a business that has plenty of competition. Don't know what's changed there... but it ain't good and i'm certainly done with them.
