They employee one waitress sometimes & a cook, which is part owner , I think. Pleasant fellow, but was waitress & cook last afternoon. "They think they have a generator", but are uncertain if it works. It seems they may be recently in ownership of the business. The restrooms, showers, & restaurant appear clean. The usual convenience store fare. Coffee is a little higher in price, than some of the similar truck stops & all flavored; of the two pots they had. Many casino machines. No smoking in the restaurant, thank goodness. Unfortunately, the hookah, game & shower rooms do have smoking. The space there is large, with a laundry area & many chairs to lounge in. The lighting is poor for reading though. Looks much like a newly renovated old truck stop. They did little to upgrade the parking lot though.

I initially went to use the restroom, and there was a stall full of human waste, overflowing, and she made me smell that however would not allow my registered clean service dog in the store. There's something very wrong with this place.

Used the amenities, filled up with gas at a great price and moved on. Let me say that Buc ee's is the Greatest! Truly a 5X5 Star Company! Here comes the "BUT"! Checked on their coffee and it's still made on their Massive Coffee Makers! Coffee gets old quickly that's why McDonalds has a time limit on how long their coffee may available for sale. That's why their Coffee is good and Fresh! Buc ee's Not So much! At Buc ee's, I would have to look for a Coffee Maker that just finished brewing a Couple of Gallons of coffee. Then pour it quickly before anyone else beats me to it. They do have Espresso single serve Coffee Makers. Didn't try one! But as a person who has traveled to Europe and other places in this world, I would say the Italians have my attention on their Espresso! Tried several as we traveled from the north of Italy down to the Almafi Coast. Wow and Wow. I will try Buc ee's Espresso on this trip. But NOT their regular coffee. Take a lesson from QT and Valero! Freshly ground Coffee served one Small to Extra Large Cup at a time. So I'll get my Coffee at QT/Valero and Eats & Gas at Buc ee's! Who knew a gas station could offer such a wide assortment of food, merchandise, and home goods? We tried some of the fresh jerky from the counter, some brisket sandwiches (get the XXL one), a banana pudding, pralines, and candied pickle chips. The candied pickle chips were insanely good with the brisket sandwich. We need those in Canada. I have never seen them before and am obsessed. There are so many flavours of jerky. I recommend them all quite frankly. The pralines were good. The banana pudding was more vanilla than banana but it wasn't bad. I just love Buc-ee's and will actively go out of my way to visit in the future.

If you are traveling on the interstate system in the southern US (mainly in Texas) you have seen…read moresigns for this place. As a matter of fact, you start seeing signs more than a hundred miles from each location. What you will find if you get off the interstate at one of these is not just a place, but it's an experience:) The first thing you will find is a parking lot that's as crowded as a major city at rush hour. Then you will find about 120 fueling stations that you can fill your vehicle with usually the cheapest gas/diesel in the area. The newer ones even have electric charging stations. Then you get to go inside. Most of the new stores are about 79,000 square feet of food, beverages, snacks, and all kinds of touristy stuff. The folks working there will greet you and seem to be happy to be there. If you look at some of the sign's advertising for workers, you will see one of the reasons why. Salary at the lowest end starts at about $27 per hour and go all the way up to several hundred thousand dollars for a store director annual salary. If you need to use the facilities, head on back to the back of the store. You walk into a huge bathroom with enough spaces so that you probably will not have to wait. On top of that, the restrooms are so clean! Will I return? Definitely!
