It turned into an interesting experience. Not to be repeated ever again. The restaurant looked clean inside so I was optimistic. Then it happened. I restaurant staff and I crossed paths. I said good morning and I only received an unpleasant look as she rushed by me. Okay, she is having a bad day. I ordered my food in the kiosk. Then headed to the restroom. In the restroom was another person, at the time, I couldn't see the individual. As I was washing my hands the lady came out. It was a restaurant team member, she thought I was taking too long since she made an odd grunt and walked out. I hope she washed her hands in a different sink. Although no one else was in the restaurant lobby, it took awhile for my food to come out. During this time, no one acknowledged our presence. When the food finally came out, the coffee was cold, muffin was as cold and muffin didn't look fresh. I didn't eat a single bite or drink any of the coffee. Didn't take any pictures since I was driving. Very disappointing. On our way back through, we stopped at Yes Way. That was a great experience!

We have purchased sandwiches several times from this location and each time the service gets progressively worse. Given that a new Quiznos just opened in town, you'd think they would try a little harder to get it right. Last month I got sick after eating only half of my Spicy Italian. Up all night with vomiting and diarrhea. I didn't blame the food at first. I passed it off as a 24 hr virus. Next day I got the sandwich out of the fridge to try again & it smelled awful so I tossed it in the trash. Tonight I ordered a tuna sub. The attached photo is what my hubby brought home. Tuna? Where is the tuna? The bread wasn't toasted. It was thrown together in a sloppy fashion. Hubby took it back. Instead of them making a new sandwich they just added more tuna to the sandwich he returned & handed it back to him. Health department allows this? Especially during a pandemic? Seriously? Never going back.

However, they refused to accept the discount card. When i asked the school, they said there are businesses that want the free advertising, then refuse to accept the card. Not cool. Then tonight, we pull in at 7pm and a handwritten sign says they'll be open until 8. When the owner or manager sees us pull in, she comes from the back to turn off the neon Open sign and refuses to serve us because they've "been slow." Horrible customer service!!

The seating was metal in hot Texas sun even in April was unbearable- where's the umbrellas or awning this is going to be a nightmare when a child gets second and third degree burns in the summer. The food was ordered at the kiosk with help from my Whataburger app which I use now that they have them in GA. I was so excited and so glad I've never had such awful food and service there. The staff seemed super lazy and clueless. I ordered inside but clearly marked it was to go as in packaged ready to walk out door. They handed me cups and said you'll need to make your own drinks to go. They left out all of the sauces; in which our autistic son had a meltdown over so of course by now I'm not surprised at anything else that can happen but both my husband and I said how super disappointed we were and we would not be stopping at any whataburgers ever again while traveling as we have small kid, two dogs and super tired adults who just want to get on down the road and we don't have the extra hands to do your staffs job and keep an eye on family a see already made it less work by using the kiosk and the app all they needed to do was properly cook the food, package and friendly deliver it to us; but unfortunately it got even more disappointing because the kids grilled cheese was so awful as it had barely no cheese more less two burnt pieces of slice burned bread. The fajita chicken wrap sauce was so messy and so thick it covered all three pieces of the parchment paper it was wrapped in. There was only one stall for each restroom and it's apparent this was not a good option to stop at. When we got there it was not too crowded but the wait to use the restrooms and the badly cooked food was entirely way too long even if made fresh to order. I can imagine as crowds grow you'll get many more criticism about how you can service the public better with staff who come to work ready to fulfill orders and be helpful. I've been to plenty of Whataburgers and love them and have never had such awful unexpected experience.
