I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.

After replacing the starter and doing the oil change the car stops working within a day. Towed it to a reputable mechanic who says that Ryan short changed the car 2 quarts of oil, causing irreparable crankshaft and cylinder misfires. Basically, the engine blew because there wasn't oil.

I was in an accident on I-35 just south of Hillsboro and didnt call for any tow service because I needed it towed back to Waco. There was another accident right after mine and they called for a tow truck apparently. However, they were able to drive off. So this punk from Day & Night pulled up and started hooking up my vehicle to his tow truck. I told him I didnt want him to tow it and he said i didnt have a choice. He said they would "lose their rotation" if they left my vehicle there. The next day I called to see how much it would cost to get my vehicle out and I was told $800.00. And he had the nerve to say that was a good deal! To tow my vehicle 12 miles one way, $800.00!!! And the DPS stands by and let's them do this. And when I called Licensing & Regulations in Austin, they were no help at all.
