My grandparents live out there and getting around to keep things done grows a little harder for grandparents everyday. My sweet grandfather went to see my high school friend Joseph after calling several places last week needing to get his battery on his truck replaced. He had a stroke several years ago and has never regained full use of his hand. He called several places that wouldn't do it, then he went down to C&C where Joseph not only took the time out to help my grandfather but took the time to talk to him (if you know my grandfather, you know he loves to have a conversation). This is the good that comes out of a small town that's sometimes overlooked and I am thankful for it. My grandfathers independence is important to him and Joseph helped him maintain that with dignity.

I got here at 11:15 a.m. and was told they were getting ready to close for lunch (12-1) and I'd have to come back at 1:00. I got back at 12:45 and was the first person in line when they reopened. Now it is 3:00 and I'm still sitting here. I can't imagine I'll try them again. This is my first tire purchase away from a certain national chain since 1977. They really let me down last time so I decided I should move on. Sigh, lol. I finally got out at 3:35! I will add they seemed to be really short handed so I'm going to give them a pass this time. They are very nice people and I might try them again. I went to a local Walmart and they refused to touch my vehicle based on where the nail was. Frustrated I searched for a mom and pop shop and came across Emilios. The gentleman Juan inspected my tire and said that he should be able to repair it with no problem. In less than 20 minutes I'm back on the road. Took it back and they said it needed both lower control arms. Problem is there is no way they could have aligned the car with bad control arms. I let them install control arms and realign the car.
